We ran across this one at the last minute and it was great! So great we plan to stay here more in the future! It's absolutely beautiful. Being able to sit on the dock and see the sunsets were my favorite! Sitting on the screened in porch was very relaxing. We can't wait to stay again! A pool would be a great addition for this house! My kids truly enjoyed it but they were hoping we would have a pool where we stayed! I have to add that everyone I talked to from forgotten Shores properties were extremely nice and so much help! Thank you guys so much!

Enjoyed our stay! View and dock is amazing. I loved dog bowls in place for dogs. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. Dishes have to be put back, so I wasn’t confident of cleanliness. Leaving dishes in dishwasher is an incentive for guests to use it. Garbage had to be pulled to the street. Loved that I could check in early!

The property was perfectly situated between St. George Island and Apalachicola. We had waited until the last minute to rent not knowing our exact dates to be in the area. We normally rent on the island; however, with the holiday weekend, it was close to impossible. This house fit the bill for us perfectly. It was newly renovated, the furnishings were new, and the view from the new dock was gorgeous. The only drawbacks were the dock was too high and the water too shallow for a boat. It was a lovely stay.

The house was nicely furnished, clean and with a well-appointed kitchen. We did discover termites that came out in the evening and notified the manager that it probably needed treatment. One of the only complaints was the LED lights in the overhead fixtures are too bright and could be toned down some. One of the ceiling fans on the front (bayside) porch was not working and the other one only ran on low speed. Also...there is no hot tub that we could find.

We enjoyed the location, comfort and cleanliness of this home. Comfortable beds, beautiful view of the bay and close to the beach and Apalachicola. We were responded to quickly and considerately when we had questions about the house when we arrived. I would recommend this beautiful home for a restful vacation to my family and friends.

The house is very comfortable, clean,wonderful back yard and the view cannot be beat. The sunsets we enjoyed were terrific. The kitchen very nice and well stocked with necessary tools.The location great with easy access to St George Island and Apalachicola both.The upstairs bed was the most comfortable. Eating breakfast on the screened porch was delightful. We would suggest they add hooks in the bathrooms for bathrobes etc.Thanks to the owners for even leaving water and food dishes for our dog!She loved the beach!

Relaxing home on the river with amazing sunsets

We enjoyed a nice long weekend. Seafood festival and other wonderful local sites. Short drive to Apalachicola and SGI. Just a beautiful and private location .

The house was super clean and came with everything you need. A couple of us fished off of the new dock and caught a bunch of fish. We come to SGI several times a year. We would definitely book Bayshore again and would recommend!
