Communication with Panos was very good and he was there to meet us as arranged. He had provided us with as nice welcome pack along with a bottle of his olive oil to bring home. The apartment had everything we needed and the location with plenty of restaurants and bars on the same road. However this didn’t disturb us at all and they weren’t noisy. The roof terrace was everything we were expecting and more. I would most definitely book the apartment again. The worst part was coming home, I can honestly say I was very sad to be leaving on our last day.

This is a great property. It has a seafront position and a large roof terrace meaning we spent most days (and some nights) outside watching the world go by. With 4 sunloungers, a table and chairs to dine and a sofa seating area to relax the apartment has it all. It is not overlooked either which works well. Panos greeted us at the apartment and left a lovely welcome package (great cheese!). The kitchen is well stocked and there is enough room for 4, although there was only 2 of us. Only comment would be the beds are very hard so be careful if you have a bad back - however for us morning rooftop yoga and a nice swim sorted us out! Highly recommended, thank you Panos

Absolutely fantastic apartment with plenty of space and an amazing roof terrace. Well equipped and comfortable. Lovely location in a quiet village but plenty of restaurants to choose from. Panos very attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en Crète:Panos est vraiment un hôte très accueillant, il nous a accueillis avec les courses du dîner et a pris de nos nouvelles au cours du séjour.La location correspond au descriptif et est très propre.Nous avons dîné au restaurant près du café "Françoise", c'était délicieux et les serveurs étaient très sympas. Il y a une belle plage face à l'appartement, la route nationale permet d'être rapidement à Chania.Ne pas manquer le lagon de Balos, magnifique !

Beautiful apartment - spacious roof terrace with great view - nice holiday resort At the beginning of October we were guests in Panos' apartment with 4 adults for a little less than 2 weeks. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time in the apartment and on the beautiful roof terrace very much. Looking at the sea already in the morning at breakfast time - either from the terrace or out of the apartment - always brings us into a good mood. Panos had already provided us with interesting information about the area in advance and also made sure that we found something to eat and drink after our arrival in the apartment. All arrangements with Panos worked well - Panos is really an attentive and interested host. Almyrida is a nice place with a number of restaurants, supermarkets, a very good bakery, ice cream parlour and a beautiful beach. Since we wanted to make trips into the surroundings, to Chania, Rethymnon, Arkadi etc., we had already booked a rental car and could explore the area very well. We had a very relaxed and restful holiday in the apartment of Panos and also in Almyrida. We will be happy to come back.

We had a fabulous 7 night stay in this beautiful apartment. It was so well equipped, in a perfect location, and Panos was the ultimate host. The apartment is situated right in the middle of Almyrida and as close as you could possibly get to the sea. It had everything we needed and more and was extremely comfortable. Panos was there to greet us (and also to bid us farewell when it was time to leave) and left us with lots of essential provisions and some treats including a bottle of Raki and some of his delicious home produced Olive Oil to take home with us! He also remained in contact throughout the week, regularly checking that all was well. The view from the large sitting room window is amazing, but the icing on the cake is the amazing roof terrace where we spent a lot of our time soaking up the sun and admiring the stunning landscape. As well as sun beds and a lovely shaded seating area, there is a BBQ and kitchen so great for al fresco cooking and eating, and the outdoor shower helped to keep us cool. The apartment was spotlessly clean and we were left with spare sets of bed linen and towels. The location simply couldn't be better. The apartment is above the lovely Cafe Francoise who do great breakfasts and right next to a friendly water sports business where we hired a pedalo. Several small supermarkets are only minutes away on foot, selling everything we needed, and the local bakery was fabulous for fresh bread, delicious Greek pastries and iced coffees! Almyrida is lined with lots of lovely restaurants, we were really spoilt for choice, and most of them have first class views of the sea and even tables on the beach! The sea was so beautifully warm and clear and a real pleasure to swim in, and so safe for children as it remains shallow until quite far out. A bus runs regularly in to Chania and there is an excellent taxi business in the village, so we had no need to hire a car. Thank you Panos for a first class holiday - we can't wait to return!

Visited Panos' apartment for 7 days with my partner and 2 Girls, 12 and 9. Really pleased with what we saw. Fantastic location right in the heart of the village. The roof terrace was our favourite part of the apartment for the way it is styled and the great sea views. Inside the apartment itself has everything you need for a self catering style holiday . We ate out every night as plenty of reasturants within the village to chose from. We didn't hire a car and found everything we needed in terms of grocceries within walking distance of the apartment. Nice beaches, very safe for children and families. Panos was extremely helpful throughout our stay which was very much appreciated by us all. We wish him well and hope to return again next year.

Fantastic holiday in Alymidra, the apartment meets all requirements, with the roof terrace being the icing on the cake. We spent most of our time on the terrace, the view is brilliant and the sunset phenomenal. Panos is a great host, we will definitely be back, Highly recommend.

We stayed for one week in Panos’ apartment in the village of Almyrida which had a perfectly quiet and laid-back atmosphere from 23 May. Firstly thanks to Panos for all his help in the booking stages. All questions answered timeously and he organised our transport to/from Chania Airport approx. 30 mins. Panos’ apartment is situated in the middle of the village 10 m from the beach. It was two smaller apartments very cleverly knocked into one . Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the addition of a sofa-bed and a very welcome arrival pack of bread, milk, fruit, wine, beer, croissants, tea, coffee, water. We had breakfast every morning beside a very large window which overlooked the beach restaurants and bay. The roof terrace however was simply stunning and very well designed with fantastic views over Souda bay , sun beds, a place to eat, a barbecue with sink and an outdoor shower. There was also a canopy to allow shelter from the sun if needed and we spent a lot of time there. Panos, thanks again for all your help and as I write this we are making use of the olive oil that you gave us as a parting gift. would definitely stay again if back in Crete.

We stayed one week in Panos’ apartment in the beautiful village of Almyrida, approx 40 minutes east of Chania (by car). Almyrida offered a laid-back atmosphere in May, not too many tourists and the restaurants we tried were all very good. Panos’ apartment is situated in the middle of the village, 10 m from the beach. It was big, very clean and well equipped. Two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, with the possibility to use a sofa-bed if you are more than four, a fantastic view from the living room. We really appreciated the newly built roof terrace with sun chairs, a place to eat, the possibility to have a barbecue and an outdoor shower. The terrace offers a breath-taking view over Souda bay and the White mountains (Lefka Oris) and we spent a lot of time there at different times. Panos is a very helpful and nice landlord who gave us information of what to do and where to go. He answered our mails very fast at all times. We will surely recommend Panos’ apartment .

Excellent property. Great location with a very helpful host who was there on every level! Top terrace was a dream. Lovely and quiet! If back in Almyrida will definitely book with Panos! Thank you for everything.

Firstly, Panos was very helpful and gave us lots of information to make our stay perfect. The apartment is spacious and clean and has the most amazing views. The roof terrace is the icing on the cake. Views to die for, sun all day, shady places to sit in and a great place to people watch. The village has everything you need, sea, beach, shops, restaurants, bars, taxi if you need to go anywhere, but why would you? We had a great time and will be going back again.

Panos and his wife welcomed us late in the evening very friendly. He explained everything and arranged an extra bed for our baby. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, equipped with all things we needed. The terrace is fantastic; it is located on the roof upstairs - we didn't expect this with our 2 kids, but no real problem. Surrounding is nice and friendly, too. Panos, many thanks again and good luck for the olive harvest. Hopefully we see you again next year!

The roof terrace is fabulous. I could stare out at the sea all day long! Panos was an excellent host. He was there to greet us when we arrived and came to see us just before our taxi arrived to (sadly) take us to airport. The apartment, situated in the centre of Almyrida, is spacious and has everything you will need for your stay. We loved our holiday.
