Very clean. Loved location and private backyard with pool. The screen porch was wonderful for meals. it was close to lots of restaurants and beach.

Location was perfect, in the quieter Northern part of the Island, and close enough to the amazing beach. It was a little hike to the shops and restaurants with the kids in the heat so we mainly drove. The house was very clean inside, and the furnishings were generally comfortable, with decent towels included both for the house and the beach. The house is also in a relatively large plot compared to some neighbouring houses and surrounded by vegetation meaning the pool area was very private - kids also loved the heated jacuzzi.

There were no welcome instructions. It was therefore difficult to get the TV to work, the oven was a little tricky to operate, and the outside lights were a complete mystery - it took us two days to turn off the outside rear fairy lights, and the front drive light was on all week. This complaint seems common with all visitors and so I cannot understand why such a simple thing has not been rectified. Also, the rear pool area was not as attractive as the pictures, the garden and plants were untidy and there was gravel on the paved areas and all but one of the plant uplighters did not work. There were also quite a few leaves in the pool, so we assume it was cleaned a few days before we got there, and one of the sunbeds was broken meaning it was uncomfortable to lie on, plus some of the plastic chairs on the balcony were not in great shape . Whilst it was handy to have the beach chairs available in the garage, a proper trolley would have been nice to lug everything to the beach (trolleys are common in other properties). The garage was also quite untidy with the beach/pool equipment just piled up in the corner. Whilst we didn't use the barbeque, I noticed that it wasn't very clean. Whilst the kitchen had most of the plates, cutlery and cooking items required, the property could do with some new mugs. Finally, we were surprised that there were no standard condiments in the kitchen, like salt, pepper and oil for example, this is quite normal in other rentals (Most people leave them behind, so we assume they are cleared out each time) - we left quite a lot of unopened long-life items for the next guests such as beers, cheese, spread etc...I would like to think they were left in place for them to enjoy?
