Une fois le logement trouvé (c'est pas évident mais si on suit bien les instructions, on fini par trouver. Par contre rien indique qu'on est bien au bon endroit!), on prend possession des lieux. Le logement est rudimentaire mais rien ne manque. Une table de ping pong agremente ce lieu. Le jardin est spacieux et se partage avec le logement voisin. Il donne sur une plage bordée par la barrière de corail. En la longeant, par la gauche, 3/4h durant, vous tomberez sur la ville de Fare. Belle promenade. Le logement est calme et paisible. Une douche extérieure permet de rincer ses affaires une fois sorti de l'eau.

Le logement est rudimentaire et vieillissant. Spacieux et propre mais sommaire. Il mériterait d'être rafraîchi avec goût! Les espaces sont sympa, il ne faudrait pas grand chose pour le rendre cosi. La salle de bain mériterait un mitigeur de douche qui fonctionne (et non pas un coup trop froid et un coup brulant). Plein de petits détails trop longs à énumérer mais qui feraient toute la différence. On a logé sur d'autres îles mieux cotées, dans de magnifiques logements et au même prix!

Not dislike, but powerfull aircondition will be apprecciated.

There was no WIFI we had to walk to hotel nearby to connect to internet. The taxi organized by Le Spot overcharged us and squashed us into a car with 2 other passengers going to a different hotel The place has lots of space but no purpose or charm

Very cozy spot in Huahine; quick access to the ocean (though not necessarily a "beach" - it certainly is a perk to have the ocean so close); accommodation is simple with open layout; it has all the basics. No frills, but this is one of its positive qualities. Bicycles available to use (which was awesome/extremely helpful).

Kitchen could be organized a bit better with more plate/utensil options. But it is certainly sufficient.

The two bedroom apartment is a short walk from a very nice view on the ocean and a nice beach (not suggesting to swim there due to high currents). Nathalie, the host, was very welcoming and available to explain everything on the apartment and on the surroundings of Huahine. The size of the apartment is good for families of max 3 people (even though the 2nd bedroom did not have any fan). Yacht club restaurant in the village just 5 minutes away by car. This is a good place for short stays.

The apartment is very basic, there is everything that you might need, but just the very minimum. Lighting on rooms should be improved. In the main bedroom there are 2 fans which help a lot to stay cool at night (even though one of them does not work at the highest speed and the mosquito net reduces the efficiency of the fans) as it is very warm. Luckily we were two people and we did not use the 2nd bedroom (single bed) which did not have any fan. The cleaning of the place needs improvement (the bathroom did not look clean). We felt isolated and had to rent a car as the village of Fare (rates around 65$/day) is close but it is still a 40 minutes walk and on our first day it was pouring rain. I am not giving a bad rate because the price we paid for this place was fair, compared to what others charge for other places which are worst.

Right on a beach with lovely sunsets and you can see whales swimming past. Big outdoor area with seating, a hammock. Massive indoor area, strong wifi, big kitchen, hot water all the time. Nathalie the owner is lovely and helped me arrange a boat trip, scooter hire etc and was available all the time on whatsapp if i had any questions.

Not much around by way of shops / restaurants - i did a scooter trip to the big supermarket in town and self catered so was fine. But if you want to eat out you’d ideally need a car i think. Town is probably walkable in about 30-40mins but at night with dogs around i didnt try. You can eat at Fare Maeva 2 mins away but book 24 hours before.
