Location was very convenient. Rooms were clean. Minimal staff but very friendly and helpful.

The room description was misleading: it said 2 double beds but one was actually a sofa bed. The breakfast was basic.

We came to check in and the lady at reception started to check us in. Then other guests arrived. She then stopped checking us in, despite our insistence that we were in a hurry. After complaining, the hotel explained to us that the hotel offer check in by 3 PM, and the staff does not speak English fluently. We are appreciated that the hotel offer check in earlier. However, the above 2 reasons are not sufficient to convince us. Thus, in my opinion, that was an unbelievably rude and offensive behavior. I have to assume perhaps she is xenophobic. Other staff are friendly.

the rooms on the last floor are very hot and the AC is not powerful enough. the AC is also too noisy so you can not sleep with it turned on. making it hard to sleep at night in summer.

The location is simply perfect for Locarno, you are dead central! The hotel is also 24/7 which is great. The rooms are fairly quiet and dark, due to the fact you can close the outside shutters.

The breakfast is nothing special and not worth 15CHF (which was optional). However, this is not a problem as there are so many fantastic places walking distance to grab a quick breakfast, which you would want to do in any event. I had a double room, shared, so just be aware the rooms are quite small. Again, this was irrelevant to me because you are in Locarno, so you do not want to spend additional time in the room, but spend it outside with the many things to do! Lastly, the value for money was superb.

The location is perfect for walking round the old town and along by the lake. The property is smart and well-kept, with an excellent breakfast served on the outside terrace when the weather allows. We appreciated the proximity to the central carl park.

Aircon was a little noisy. Balcony view a little restricted.

central. beautiful view. we had the lake view corner room. Coffee machine to have a coffee was good. a bottle of water per day also nice. Staff were absolutely fantastic 🙂

not value for money at all. we paid almost 600chf for a room size of a shoe box. The rooms are soooo small. We being tall barely fit in the shower. the carpet looks old and dirty. The bed was comfish, but a bit short for my partner. Pillows are too soft and only one per person. the furniture is old school, but we was there only 2 nights.

Breakfast was great, they were able to accommodate a gluten free breakfast. The view from both our room and the breakfast room was gorgeous. The “family room” basically 2 adjoining rooms worked well for our family (2 young kids). It was also very centrally located across from the lake.

The hotel's location is excellent. It is 5 mins away from the train station and very close tot the lake. It is also close to the center of Locarno. If you travel by car, there is no free parking, just a paid parking that charges 21 CHF/night. The bus stations are close to the train stations so that is also very convenient.

It was October and it was quite chilly and we struggled with the AC controls. There was also a heater but it didn't make that much of a difference.

Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Nice balcony and view on the lake.

I wished for a room on the upper floor because it's quieter, but ... . We weren't given one. Sleeping was awful as the mattress was way too flabby. Not recommended for people w/ back problems.
