Beautiful room! Historic look completely updated with modern amenities. Quiet night. Well equipped kitchen. Very helpful and friendly host. Wish we had stayed longer. Will pick Casa Aurora next time we visit Massa Marittima.

Excellent central location right in the heart of the town. Easy access to all the great historical sites that can be walked to around the town. Great range of restaurants outside the hotel door. Hotel was clean and very comfortable and lots of information available on places to see.

Vehicle access is limited in the town so be prepared for a short walk to a parking spot. Our room faced one of the main thoroughfares in the town, this can be noisy late at night. Take earplugs if your a light sleeper, but it adds to the atmosphere of the stay.

A wonderful stay in a charming, generous room with balcony and superb views. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of breathtaking historic Massa Marittima. Our host was warm and welcoming and easily contactable should we have needed anything - which we didn't, as everything was just as we could have wished!

The room was spacious and the view was lovely. The owner was very accommodating. The town is beautiful and Casa Aurora is right in the middle of town.

This hotel is right in the historic center of Massa Marittima, in a beautiful street with lovely stores, restaurants and wine shops. There are various parking lots about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, one of which is free. The hotel is lovely and clean, basic but elegant. The room we had had a fridge, a tv and a well-maintained balcony with a pretty nice view. The host, Armando, is absolutely wonderful, and provided us with some great tips for sightseeing and restaurants. He checked on us several times via WhatsApp and phone to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended, especially for this price range.

The hotel surpassed every expectation we had. Just be advised: there is a small kitchen where you can make coffee, but there is no coffee machine or ground coffee present. This was no issue for us; like everywhere in Italy, you can get an excellent espresso in one of the cafeterias a few doors down the street.

room was a bit loud at night (we knew at the time of booking) but it was no problem to sleep and it was quite warm with the windows shut. We had to call by phone the staff to check-out. hard to find a parking place near the center.
