Very nice condo unit with everything we needed for our 8 day stay at the beach. The 4th floor balcony view is exceptional, and we hung out there every morning and every evening. Can't get any closer to the ocean! Kitchen was well equipped, showers were great, beds were comfortable. Close to the elevator and easy access to the beach and pool. Our only gripe was that a group of 9 kids (20 somethings) were staying in a one bedroom, one bath on the ground level by the pool. They were tying up the pool bathrooms for showers and other needs, limiting access for the rest of the guests at HDS II. Other than that annoyance, it was a great stay!

Overall, we loved the property and we really enjoyed the condo. The kitchen had newer cookware, which worked out great when we ate in a few times. The beds were comfy, and bathrooms were nice. It was extremely quiet, but I believe it was due to the hurricane several days prior. Side note: We were not told this place suffered damage from Nicole; the beach stairs were ruined in storm and pool had debris in it and was closed. I always recommend honesty as best policy, so it would have been nice to know this before we rented the unit. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay.

Loved the location and the high table n chairs to sit and enjoy the view on the balcony! Close to stairs and elevator if that is an issue for you. The condo was clean, well organized and nice. My only issue is there should be enough paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap and laundry detergent to get you through. I had to buy all of this. Also bring your own soap… what is there is very small n cheap. Besides those factors I would rent here again knowing these products may not be there. It’s a cute beachy vibe!!!

The host didn't respond to my calls regarding the state of the condo until my check out. The pillowcase had stains. The shower glass door needed to be cleaned. The grout was obviously dirty. The perimeter of the shower floor had near white grout, the center very dark finally hair on the shower walls. That place needs a deep cleaning and a better ongoing cleaning.

Excellent location on New Smyrna Beach… convenient to restaurants and groceries. A protected balcony facing East from which to savor the many moods of the ocean. Spectacular sunrises and moonrises enjoyed and captured by camera to make memories that will last for years to come.

This was an amazing property! The view from the balcony was the best! The condo was clean and had everything we needed! The no drive beach was also a huge bonus!

A couple of minor things needed attention but overall a great unit.

The place was great overall. We had a bathroom with a broken toilet handle which wasn’t going to be fixed until the afternoon of our last day there, so it wasn’t convenient having that broken and only having one fully functioning toilet. Also, the unit was very clean overall and the floors appeared clean (swept) but the floors could use a deep cleaning. Even after taking showers, our feet turned black from walking on the tiled floors. That aside, we would definitely stay again - the space was great, right on the beach, location was awesome and the kitchen was very well equipped.

We enjoyed our stay. Location is great. The unit is nicely appointed and includes pretty much anything you may need during your stay. Furnishings are comfortable and a notch above the usual beach furnishings. We particularly enjoyed the large balcony which was great for watching the ocean without getting too much sun.

Overall enjoyed the stay but the unit needs a serious deep cleaning. New linens and towels are a must. Short walk to a super clean beach made the stay enjoyable.

The property was lovely, check in was easy. Kids loved the pool and beach. My husband and I loved the deck in the morning and eve. Do wish I knew the beach closet existed prior however. I guess I should have asked. We would definitely return. Thank you.

We had a girls trip here and were so pleased with our experience of the property! It was 3 of us, but could have easily had another and fit comfortably. The beach view is wonderful and the access to the beach was super easy. Condo was very clean and comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better stay! We will definitely be returning to this property.

Spectacular views of ocean. Lovely to have unrestricted outlook of the beach. Comfortable and well equipped. Great WiFi and TV. Clean facility. Nice heated pool and deck area. Well maintained and clean property. Nice to have washer and dryer in the condo. Stephanie of the management company was super helpful. Wish I had brought a bicycle.

We have stayed at Hacienda Del Sol many times, both I and II....this is one of the nicest units we have had. The most important thing was that there is bar-height furniture on the balcony so you can see the ocean well! And lots of it, a high table and chairs plus 4 low chairs with ottomans. the master bath is newly renovated with glass shower doors and pretty fixtures. In-unit Washer/dryer. Perfect view and of course all the kitchen stuff you need. Very well equipped and in good condition. HDSII is a family friendly place, quiet at night and we felt comfortable letting our kids run around and do things on the property. No-drive beach makes it safe and not crowded at all. At one time in mid afternoon I looked up and down and counted about 8 people in each direction- great! Highly recommend!
