Family just had a ball , they want to go again next year

Very close to the beach! Everything we needed at the house. Had a door lock not function and they were there within two hours and had it fixed. Everything was great.!

Check in was difficult due to the cellular service being down for several days at Emerald Coast Vacation Rentals. No one reached out via personal cell phone or email to see about our check in. I would think if one is responsible for the property they could at least send a personal message to let us know of the office difficulty. The place was not clean,Tile floors were grungy, washer and dryer dirty, no garage door opener and we were short 2 arm bands, pool area was dirty all of which we could not report upon our arrival until midway through our stay when we finally found a number for this property through on line support, which took over 30 minutes going through various VRBO sights. Josh Kline did come after he was notified but we were already mid way through our stay and had cleaned up what we could. I certainly hope we are not charged for those missing arm bands as the not on the counter says there is a $50 charge for each missing band. We did feel Josh's apology was sincere and he did send a pool service over right away. We did enjoy the pool area and the location of the property. We did not let these initial problems inhibit our beach and stay in Destin

Great beach house. Excellent location. House beautifully decorated and clean. Pool is much smaller than appeared in picture. Love our stay. Will definitely return on our next Destin trip. One recommendation, a exhaust hood for the electric range would be great. We have to open the doors to air out the house after cooking.

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving at this home. We will definitely book it again in the future!!

Cockroach infestation in kitchen. Unit could use a very deep cleaning. Walls, blinds, beneath beds and appliances.

Loved having our own pool. Well maintained community with close proximity to private beach. Would go back!

The location is a short walk to a beautiful private beach. The house was perfect for our family of 11. Other than a couple of small inconveniences in the house, we couldn’t be more pleased.

We go to Destin every May but this was our first time staying in Dunes of Destin. Excellent location. The beautiful beach is just a few blocks away. Pool was smaller than anticipated but lovely backyard. Grill was partially broken and could use a good cleaning. Master bedroom door handle broken so we got locked in a few times. Large spacious kitchen. Looking forward to our next Destin trip in May 2023

Quiet, safe neighborhood with a very short walk to the beach! Nice pool heated to 88 degrees for the kids! Would stay here again!

We had an awesome time in Destin and the house was great. It’s in a good location and close to everything that we did. Josh from the property management company was very responsive to my emails are which enhanced our experience. I would rent this house again.

Great area. Access to everything including very short walk to beach. We had the pool heated for the week and it was beautiful! House is roomy and fantastic for a big family!! Property manager is VERY responsive. Would stay her again. I recommend!

This was our second time to rent the property and absolutely loved it! We can’t wait to do it again next year.

This is our second visit to this house in four years. It was great the first time, but they have made some significant enhancements which made it even better this time! Highly recommend!

Overall the property is in good condition. Housecleaning needs to pay better attention to the cleanliness of the property. The location was in close proximity to the beach and the pool area was nice. The filter at the pool was very dirty however. The property management person we dealt with was not super outgoing. There were very minimal requests during our week long stay. One of them was the replacement of the water filter for the refrigerator placed on day 2 of 6 day stay; was not replaced prior to our departure.

This house fit perfectly for our large family. With four little ones and raining the whole time we really used the house. The only complaint I had was the beds and sheet where not comfortable. But besides that it was a great house. And would recommend it and stay again!

The home was perfect location to the beach! Very clean! It was great to have a pond for kids to fish at in the mornings, beach in the afternoon, and pool in the evening!

The home was clean, quiet, and close to beach! Very easy and safe walk to the beach for families especially with small children! The neighborhood is located very close to the pancakery, mellow mushroom, and ice cream shop for the evenings you want to stay close to the house. Kids will love the pancakery for breakfast and their fancy chocolate milk! The pool is small, but perfect for adults or a family similar to our size. The bedrooms that are best for the kiddos (bunk beds) are located downstairs and the master bedroom is located upstairs with all the other living spaces. It did make us a little uncomfortable having the 2 older kiddos downstairs with bathrooms adjacent to the pool. Each door leading to the outside does have an individual alarm that will go off if opened. You can turn it off or on. It’s not a wired system, just battery powered. We do use baby monitors in all the rooms so we could hear everything from the master, but may be hard to hear without having your own monitor. The reason I gave a 4star is due to bedding and the master bedroom bed/mattress. 2 very easy fixes to make this a 5 star. The master bed is kinda wobbly and we’re small in stature. Also, the bedding needs to be updated. I know Covid makes things hard with having nice bedding, but the sheets were very cheap/uncomfortable and there’s was only 1 thin blanket on bed. We had to use beach towels and any spare blankets we brought for the car ride to cover us up with. I think a good mattress pad with some nicer sheets with normal bedding essentials (top sheet, blanket, and duvet/comforter) would make a huge difference with comfort/sleeping! Overall, a good property to rent if your looking for something clean, safe, and close to beach!

Our party of 7 adults really enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen is very well stocked so it was easy to make meals. We enjoyed the big harvest table where everyone could sit together and it was a great place to play hours of cards. Bedrooms were spacious with three of having private bathrooms. We were within walking distance of several restaurants and bars. The beach is beautiful and was less than a 2-minute walk with very easy access (the property also had a wagon and a selection of beach chairs which was nice). The pool has a nice deck area with a table/chairs and lounge chairs. The excursions were very easy to book. We took advantage of the free round of golf most days (one person free each day and then additional golfers pay a fee) and it was nice to have several courses to choose from. Overall it was a great stay!

Everything was as listed, very clean and comfortable! Gated community with private beach access! Restaurants and shopping outlet all near by! Property management was great! Love the hospitality! We certainly will return to this property!

Roomy, well stocked home with great access to the beach

Our destiny was the perfect place for a family vacation. We had a great week at this very comfortable house. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable accommodations are nice. We had our one-year-old grandson and the house had baby gates and a pack and play which was helpful. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool and patio and the pool heater made it perfect for our grandson. The beach is just a short walk and was beautiful and never crowded. We would definitely return to this vacation house. Emerald coast was easy to work with and answered all our questions.
