Great location! Our dog was welcome, great runs/walks around the neighborhood, and communication was always prompt! Inside, things were modern yet cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked, two TVs and lots of room for our family!!!! It is nicely decorated, is very clean, is move-in ready and the homemade bread from a local bakery was a nice touch! Could not be a better location for the sweet town of Black Mountain. We are planning to return!

We absolutely loved staying here with our dog. The management was extremely responsive, wanted to make sure we had everything we needed, and even welcomed us with a special bottle of wine for our anniversary. We hope to go back one day!

Such a nice, relaxing, cozy place! This was our second time staying at the property. Conveniently located to so many Black Mountain & Ashville attractions. Loved the fireplace! Would come back again.

The Owl's Nest property is very lovely.The layout allows for opportunities for privacy as well as comfortable spaces for gathering. We also loved the multiple outdoor spaces .

Wonderful stay

This is a very pretty house in a nice neighborhood in the mountains. Very clean with nice furniture and decorations. I would stay here again for sure!

The cabin is lovely. Nice furniture and decor and well supplied with all you need to prepare meals, enjoy morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The cabin was clean and well maintained overall. A few small issues we encountered included a toilet that didn’t flush properly, an oven that didn’t heat up like it should and the wifi password was incorrectly advertised in the welcome email. I passed these along to the rental company and hopefully they will be rectified for the next guests. Overall, we were pleased with our stay, but for the nightly rent, I feel these issues should have been resolved in advance of our arrival.

Everything about the Owl's Nest is perfect! From the booking process and communications prior to and during our stay, to the furnishings and comfort of the home... I've never had a more enjoyable stay.

This property is beautifully located in the Village of Cheshire, with the perfect combination of privacy,as well as convenience to the grocery store, eating establishments, and the interstate. We made daily trips into Asheville which is an easy 15 min drive. Black Mountain is a quaint, friendly town, and we love staying there while visiting our daughter in Asheville. Louise's Kitchen is a must for breakfast, and lunch! We're so grateful to the owners of the Owl's Nest for sharing their beautiful, cheerful home with us! And as always, Greybeard staff( Susan assisted us this time, and was so helpful in helping me to decide on the perfect rental for our family)is always a joy to work with. They even arranged to have the cabin decorated for Christmas a little early, as a surprise for our 6 yr old Grandaughter! That is customer service to another level! WE were traveling with our pets, and the location of the house being on the end, made for easy walks with our sweet pets.Cheshire Village and the Owl's Nest is like something out of a Fairy tale. I am in the high-end design development business with target markets throughout the most prestigious locations along the eastern coastline and we see exceptional properties on a daily basis. This property was a first to visit ( site unseen ) and only relying on what details were provided to us by our agent and contact at Greybeard. It was a welcoming surprise upon arrival to be at such a clean, upscale and newly appointed property. It was exactly what I was hoping for and so much more.
