Great new house for a couple. Wonderfully well equipped and a beautiful terrace. Easy tram ride to old city, subway and everything else. Easy walk to beach and local restaurants and grocery. Highly recommend.

Florians’ place is an absolute dream. There is nothing he hasn’t provided or thought of, it’s a home away from home. Victoria checked us in wonderfully, with lots of great tips for the area and help with navigating and both her and Florian were communicative and helpful the whole time. An absolute pleasure, we cannot speak highly enough of it and hope to return! Thank you so so much ❤️❤️🙏🏻

There are good reasons why this property gets rated 5 stars by many who visit here. We lived here for a month in March and it was fabulous. The property has been sympathetically refurbished by the owners - they’ve done a fantastic job. The bed is super comfy, the kitchen area has everything you will need to cook meals - even a rolling pin and pizza cutter which we used to make homemade pizzas, the shower and bathroom is a good size, the tv has loads of channels though we had brought our own firestick which worked perfectly, the outside area is so private with a barbecue area and seating, and best of all there are two bikes available for you to use (we did loads of cycling). Florian and Hannah are brilliant hosts, checking now and then to make sure everything was ok. We had fun exchanging texts in Spanish, German and English. Victoria met us at check-in and provided lots of advice on how to get around Valencia using public transport and places to visit and eat. There’s a book full of information in the house. Khadija came once a week to clean and refresh the linen and towels. We really enjoyed meeting and chatting in Spanish with Khadija. The property is in El Cabanyal which has a rich history itself - it is real Spain, not touristy at all. It’s only 10 mins walk to the beach, 13 mins walk to the local market where you can buy loads of fresh produce and a mere 100m to a fabulous bakers. There’s plenty options for public transport nearby. The buses in Valencia are brilliant and so cheap! (Buy a zuma10 card at the tabac). We were here in March so experienced the Fallas festival and the Semana Santa - lots of processions, fireworks, music and drums - so it was noisy at times when we were there but it didn’t bother us too much, all part and parcel of living in Valencia in March. So if you want to experience real Spain in a fabulous house, book La Casa Azul, you won’t regret it.

My wife and myself couldn’t have chosen a better base for our 5 days in Valencia. The house, in the area of Cabanyal, is ideally located on a quiet street, yet within short walking distance of the metro/tram, the beach, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The house is a lovely mixture of modern and traditional, extremely well equipped and was spotlessly clean. We were so thankful for air conditioning which provided much needed respite from the searing heat, while the courtyard was a lovely spot to sit with a glass of wine as the sun went down. Florian was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We are particularly grateful to him for booking taxis from and to the airport, and for making a restaurant reservation on our behalf. He reacted immediately when we contacted him about an issue with Wi-Fi, which was speedily fixed - he was so apologetic, but it was no big deal for us as these things happen! Victoria looks after the house for Florian and she greeted us when we first arrived. She took the time to tell us what we needed to know about the house, and then showed us on a map the locations of various places of interest, restaurants etc. Victoria was a mine of information, made some really helpful suggestions and is an absolute gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Valencia and look forward to visiting again. We will definitely stay in this lovely house when we return, and we have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Jolie maison avec patio mais le propriétaire donne un "mode d'emploi" de 21 pages en écrivant dès la page 1 : "Notre maison doit rester sans vermine. Pour cette raison, ne laissez pas de restes de nourriture ouverts". Comme si les gens à qui il louait son logement étaient a priori des gens sales ne connaissant pas les règles d'hygiène les plus élémentaires. Or, quand un vacancier choisit de louer une telle maison qui lui apparaît propre et soignée sur les photos, il y a de fortes chances pour que ce soit quelqu'un de propre. Ainsi je pense connaître assez l'hygiène pour avoir trouvé que ce n'était pas vraiment approprié de stocker la table à repasser dans le débarras poussiéreux du fond du patio. J'ai aussi trouvé un plat de cuisine en terre cuite couvert d'une fine couche de moisissure qui aura échappé à la vigilance de la dame de ménage. Ainsi je finis par faire des remarques pointilleuses quand je me sens mal à l'aise avec un règlement de maison que je juge trop strict. Le propriétaire insiste sur la présence de fourmis dans son jardinet patio (mais là où il y a de la terre, il y a toujours des fourmis et c'est normal !) alors il écrit de faire attention de ne pas laisser traîner de nourriture par terre dans le patio (et la maison). En partant, il a demandé que l'on balaie ! Je voulais bien mais il n'y avait pas de balai et je me voyais mal passer l'aspirateur sur le dallage du patio ! La climatisation : impossible de la baisser au-dessous de 26°C ; il s'agit d'une pompe à chaleur air/air chauffage-climatisation qui est restée fixée sur 26°C malgré les 22°C programmés par l'hôtesse Victoria qui nous avait par ailleurs bien reçus. Je tiens à signaler que le propriétaire précise dans le règlement à quelle température nous devons climatiser au paragraphe 1.7.1 : "la plupart du temps un réglage de quelques degrés en dessous de la température extérieure suffit (par exemple 26-27°C de température souhaitée s'il fait 30°C dehors)". Nous partions dès le matin (après fermeture des volets) mais en rentrant le soir après le dîner pris à l'extérieur, nous devions aérer pour rafraîchir la maison plus chaude (26°C) que la température extérieure (21-22°C). D'où une sensation désagréable de chaleur en rentrant. Un arrosage (goutte à goutte) des plantes du patio apporte une humidité permanente attirant les moustiques : je me suis faite piquée plus que d'habitude. Voilà, le plaisir de profiter pleinement de la location a été quelque peu gâché. Dommage.

We have stayed in many houses over the years but this was by far the best equipped. The owners had thought of everything. We cannot thank them enough for our amazing time in Valencia...

This is heaven on Earth. The outdoor space. The bikes. The sound system. Florian designed a next-level thoughtful space in a beautiful neighborhood. Victoria set us up perfectly with amazing recommendations. Both of these folks were super helpful in a pinch when we misplanned & needed to get a covid within hours before flying. Tahona for bread & pastries. Cooking after shopping at the Mercado. Drinks and food at La Sastreria. Walking the streets and alleys with the unique tile. Easy access to bus. Biking through the old river space.

In short, a delightful extremely well appointed home. Everything you could need which is often not the case. We cooked a lot which was made possible by a fully outfitted kitchen. Florian was optimal as a communicator and the home was kept clean by Sandra. Would definitely stay again in this great place located a the best part of Valencia.

Just great! We've had an excellent stay. Everything you need is present in the house incl. bikes. 10 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to the Metro. Very kind owner and they have a lot good recommendations for pubs and restaurant.

Mein Mann und ich waren sehr begeistert von diesem wundervollen Loft. Für zwei Personen ideal. Dank der Fahrräder konnten wir auch sehr viele Wege unabhängig von Metro und Bus zurücklegen. Vielen Dank auch für die zur Verfügung gestellten Lebensmittel wie z. B. Kaffee und Milch. So konnten wir uns gleich nach der Ankunft einen Kaffee kochen! Wenn wir nochmal nach Valencia reisen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier anfragen!

Wir sind viel gereist, dieses Casa Azul und ihre Besitzer waren das Beste was wir bisher erlebt haben. Die Betreuung war einzigartig. Es ist genau so wie beschrieben.

Thank you Florian and Hannah for sharing your beautiful home. This place is amazing a great mix of rustic and modern. We needed for nothing at all. Clean, private, relaxing just wonderful. The house is a 25 min tram ride to the city and a 15 min walk to the beach and marina. Numerous cycle paths allowed us safe cycling around the area in all directions we clocked up over 120 miles in the week all off road. With the wonderful bakery just around the corner we really felt at home. This was supported by the contact from Florian during our stay. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you.

Schönes Ferienobjekt mit viel Liebe zum Detail gebaut. Es wurde an alles gedacht, was den Urlaub schöner und bequemer macht. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten liegen unmittelbar in der Nähe und sind schnell zu Fuss erreichbar. Gute Lage zum Strand und zur Stadt. Ideale Variante für selbst bestimmten Urlaub.

We stayed for 3 nights the place was amazing everything we could have wanted it have everything, the hosts and local host were amazing, would definitely recommend this property in Valencia.

Das Haus ist sehr schön renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist top. Die Lage ist ideal, um an den Strand zu Fuss oder in die Innenstadt mit dem Fahrrad zu gelangen. Parken im Viertel ist kein Problem. Da Valencia aber eine ausgesprochen fahrradfreundliche Stadt ist, macht es viel mehr Spass die Stadt mit den vorhandenen Fahrrädern zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr unkompliziert und der Empfang vor Ort sehr nett. Alles in allem beste Vorraussetzungen für einen erholsamen und schönen Urlaub!

Wir verbrachten 10 erlebnisreiche Tagen im Stadtviertel Cabanyal. Dank der tollen Tipps verbunden mit gutem Wetter und reichlich Fahrradausflügen haben wir Valencia von seiner besten Seite kennengelernt. Das Haus ist perfekt, super ausgestattet- einfach zum Wohlfühlen!!! Achim und Frauke

Just finished out 3 night stay which was excellent in every respect. Pictures on this listing speak for themselves. It was outfitted with everything you could ask for ... including a bottle of wine for my wife, and a six pack of my favourite Spanish beer for me. We loved the supply of oranges which we used to make freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. Small grocery store is 3 minutes walk and a larger fresh fruit/vege/ meat market around 6-7 minutes walk. Almost forgot ... bakery with delicious croissants is only 1 1/2 minutes away! We absolutely loved this place! It's in a wonderful neighborhood and the environment around is lots of fun. The beach is so close! The house is exactly as described: a dream. We definitely want to stay here again when in Valencia. The patio space is immaculate, the living space is gorgeous and it's incredibly comfortable. I can't say enough good things. Thank you so so much and we hope to see Loles and Angel again soon! :) Gracias!!

We rented this little gem for a week - everything was perfect and as expected. The house is tastefully furnished and has a peaceful ambiance. We found everything we needed - enjoyed the rays of sun coming though the large windows, sat in a private terrace and enjoyed the sounds of the birds. Thank you! Will definitely be back.

Das Ferienhaus ist mit großer Liebe zum Detail wunderbar eingerichtet. Der Strand ist fußläufig rasch zu erreichen und auch Bäcker und Lebensmittelläden sind gleich um die Ecke. Ebenso die Metro, aber Valencia hat einfach sehr gute Fahrradwege und so waren wir immer mit den beiden Rädern des Hauses unterwegs. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war super unkompliziert und vor Ort wurden wir sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen. Einfach eine wunderbare Unterkunft! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

This is a spacious house with wonderful modern amenities. The interior is well organized with a stocked kitchen and amazing bathroom. Due to bad weather, we could not use the patio, but it was nice to view from inside. We arrived in the middle of a rain storm that flooded some streets in Valencia. Loles, delayed by flooding near her, worked hard to get to us, and Florian stayed in contact. Everything worked out, and we most appreciated the bottle of wine and oranges. Loles was very helpful with restaurant recommendations.

Wir haben in dieser wunderbaren Ferienwohnung in Valencia einen super schönen Urlaub verbracht. Ein perfekter Ort um Strand- und Städteurlaub zu kombinieren (- mit den Rädern zum Beach und in die Altstadt oder einfach im Innenhof relaxen). Super Lage, top Ausstattung und ein fantastischer Host, der immer gute Tipps parat hat. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
