The home is updated and in a great location. TV room in basement is brand new. Great place for kids to hang out. Landscape is updated but grass still needs work. Linens and towels were nice. Some board games were there. Grill appears new and was easy to use. An added plus was the Culligan water cooler. We used it all the time as the tap water was not the best tasting. It does not have air conditioning but many fans. Luckily, we had cool evenings. My biggest complaint would be lack of screens on all the windows since there is no AC. The property managers are easy to work with and addressed any concerns promptly. Recommend the property and hope to stay again

The location of the River Grand House is wonderful! It is walking distance to everything! We were able to walk to our daughters rehearsal dinner at the Riverside Inn and then walk over to the Lodge for after dinner drinks. It is roomy and well appointed. Also, we were very appreciative to have a high chair for our baby grandson. Overall very pleased! Thank you Mary Lou!

The property was very nice. Good location and well equipped. The claw foot tub is very charming but a bit challenging for older people. The upstairs shower was perfect.

Great time in a beautiful neighborhood! Spent lots of time on the huge wrap-around porch!

We rented this home for a small group of women (mid 30’s) to stay in. It was also the meeting location for other women to gather and depart for a wine tour. Be mindful of the noise level expectations at all times. While the group staying in the home honored the posted quiet times (side note - there’s no air conditioning so windows have to be open), our afternoon activity seemed to irritate neighbors. Overall, it was a beautiful home and location, perfect for groups who will be spending most of their time out enjoying the beach, shops and restaurants in the area.

My family and I had a weekend stay at this terrific house! It’s in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The host is very responsive and the home was recently renovated and clean. We took advantage of the fire pit. It would be awesome to add a pool table or dart board to the open area in the basement! Would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful location for a family vacation! We spent 3 nights here and were bouncing around the Leelanau Peninsula all weekend wine tasting and exploring. Being such a close walk to town was great for our group! The house was clean and as described in the listing! Fit our group perfectly!

My family and I stayed at this incredible home for my niece’s wedding weekend! It is not easy finding accommodations that fit our large family of seven, but this home was perfect with giving us all the privacy we needed as well as having cozy living spaces inside and outside (the porch is amazing!) to allow us all to hang out together. In addition to having ample space for us, the house was decorated in the most adorable way and even inspired some new home projects back at our home in Livonia, MI. To make this stay even better, the location couldn’t have been more perfect. We were able to walk to everything we needed including the fishtown area, the wedding venue, the grocery store, and to all the shops and restaurants (highly recommend checking out The Cove). I can’t finish the review without giving a shout-out to the home owner, Mary Lou. She provided us with incredible hospitality and was just a phone call away when we needed her assistance. This home is the perfect place to stay for your weekend in Leland, MI!

Wow, what a beautiful place to rest, regroup, and laugh with friends and family in town! The porch is spacious and was able to to accommodate several friends/family members also staying in town for a simple morning coffee & chat. The home was crisp and beautiful, provided a clean kitchen to bake & cook meals, was close to all things Leland, and the reading nook & games were fan favorites on a rainy day! We will certainly consider Mary Lou’s home for future stays! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Your place brought many smiles to our faces!

A group of 6 girls stayed here for a bachelorette party. We spent every morning and evening on the porch relaxing, and had quick access to just about everything. Also the style of the house was just cozy and cute! I would recommend always checking when places/restaurants close nearby, because a lot of places close early!

We came up for a long weekend after labor day and had a blast in Leland. I didn't realize how centrally located this house was and we really enjoyed being able to walk downtown and to both lake beaches (Michigan & Leelanau). The house was exactly what we needed in that we were able to make a lot of our meals in the kitchen and grill at night. The house was spacious and definitely enough for everyone to have their own cozy spot.

Our family, including four children 2-11, spent three nights at this lovely home in Leland while we enjoyed the area. The home was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved that it was walking distance to town and the beach. Would definitely recommend!!

We had a nice stay at this home in Leland. It was a great alternative to the area hotels. Great access to town, beaches and M-22 attractions.

Just an awesome little renovated house. Perfect location. Three minute walk to Fishtown, nice wrap around porch and firepit to sit at. Some rainy day activities for kids to do. Everything worked great and was very clean.

We loved our stay at Leland. It was the perfect location to walk to the downtown area and Lake Michigan. It was close enough to Northport for our daughter's wedding. We loved walking around the neighborhoods. It was absolutely perfect for a family brunch after the wedding. The wrap around porch was the perfect gathering place when it rained and during the sunny days. Our little granddaughter loved pushing her toy around the porch and even took her first steps in the beautiful kitchen. We can't wait to come back again!

The house was perfect for our family trip with seven people. It has a great wrap around porch and fire-pit for hanging out in the evening. Walking to downtown Leland is only five minutes.

This property was clean and comfortable for our family of five. The location is excellent - just a quick walk to Fish Town, the beach and downtown Leland. We loved the big covered front porch, full bathrooms on both levels and large kitchen space. The house had everything we needed for our long weekend stay.

We stayed here for our girls weekend! Great location, very clean and cutely decorated. Only comment would be there was no coffee, so be sure to bring your own. Highly recommend staying here! Wonderful place!
