It was so nice..we really enjoyed staying there..enough room for all 12 of us without feeling crowded..

The Hamptionian is a lovely, spacious home that suited our family quite well for our 4 night stay to ring in the new year with our kids and grandkids. Located in a lovely subdivision just a block walk from the beach access. This home is very clean and beds very comfortable. Check in was perfect with no issues. ITrip staff took the time to communicate gentle reminders and provide quality info about Kure Beach throughout our stay. This area did not disappoint and we are already talking about a summer visit! This great property is a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house is nicely laid out for a group over 3 levels, well-stocked kitchen and very clean. We had a wonderful time snd would like to return.

Great Thanksgiving at Kure Beach and the Hamptonian! The house fully accommodated our needs and Madison (our contact) was very professional and helpful.

The large bedrooms were spaced away from each other to give all of us a sense of privacy, if needed. Beautiful sunrises were watched as we sat ,in the rocking chairs, with our hot coffees. Both upper front and back decks were enjoyed throughout the day and the common areas were large enough to accommodate all of us, while still feeling intimate. Would definitely book again!

The house was very clean. It was beautiful inside and out. I was so happy to see extra blankets for when I got chilly in the evening. The house is stocked with everything you need at first. All the guest were happy with their bedrooms and enjoyed the stay. We had a little one with us and she enjoyed the beach toys in the garage. I loved the shower in the master bathroom. No complaints. My group would book this house again.

Just a few houses from the beach, this home was the ideal location for a quiet family beach trip. There were sand toys, a wagon, and some folding chairs in the garage that were perfect for our days the beach. You can hear the ocean from the house, and the hammock and rocking chairs were great to place to spend some quiet time. The home is spacious enough that our family was able to spread out in the house. Plenty of pots/pans/dishes etc. to cook meals at home. Overall the home met our needs and we would rent this location again. Kure Beach is a beautiful town and we look forward to visiting this home again.

This house was a perfect house for our two families that stayed there this past week. We had enough bedrooms for all our people and everything was great! It was in a great location and the walk to the beach was not bad at all! I would say that the grill probably needs to be replaced soon. It worked, but is getting in bad shape. Thanks for a great week!

Came to Kure for a family beach trip and had the best time. The location was perfect! Easy walk with nice non-crowded beaches! The house met all of ours needs. The big front porch and hammock was our favorite. Great neighborhood and people. We ended playing with the local pickle ball league almost every morning. They were so welcoming to us and we had so much fun!

The Hamptonian was a perfect house for our large family beach trip. Plenty of space with a great gathering area. Everything was clean and in great shape. Lots of parking for our 4 cars. Easy walk to the beach and the boardwalk. We had a great time.

We kept debating whether the tv in the family room was 70 or 80 inch tv. We think it was 80 inch and was perfect for NCAA semifinal games. The house had everything we expected including a large propane grill that we used for steaks and burgers.

Our visit to the Hamptonian Beach house was a wonderful time to catch up with our family and friends. We loved the location in Kure, which is about 30 miles from Wilmington and right next to Carolina beach, but much more relaxed and quiet. The house is lovely with plenty of spaces for groups of friends to chat or chill. There is a nice deck off of the kitchen, as well as a front porch with rocking chairs, where we had great conversations. The rooms were spacious and modern. My wife and I choose the room on the ground level, which had the feel of a separate apartment. The kitchen and dining area was spacious for our group breakfasts. There were a total of four families in all. The home has enough space for the kids to play with each other and the adults to relax in peace. There are old school video games, television, board games and some beach gear at the home. The beach was a block away, which was quiet and clean. We even took a stroll on the beach at night, which was magical. The center of Kure, where there are some restaurants and a pier was only about two blocks away, and we even did a trip with the kids to the aquarium and a little carnival. We even found a good hiking area which seemed to be in a protected reserve. All and all we highly recommend this vacation home, and hope to visit again in the summer.

We truly enjoyed our first visit to Kure Beach. It was a pleasant 3 1/2 hour drive from Charlotte, making it an ideal trip for people with young children. From the moment we arrived at The Hamptonian we felt right at home. This spacious beach house is perfect for family trips, or a getaway with friends and is well equipped with everything you need to make your vacation complete. The Hamptonian is located just a block from a beautiful, serene private beach and a short drive to numerous great restaurants, shops and area attractions, including numerous year round family friendly activities. This beach house truly provides the perfect setting for you to relax and escape from reality. On the days that we didn't feel up to packing up to head to the beach, we enjoyed strolling through the neighborhood, or spending time at the private community pool that was located just a block away. If you are feeling adventurous, Wilmington is just a short drive away and full of historical landmarks, parks, tours, boat rides and much more. The perfect way to spend the day. I highly recommend staying at the Hamptonian, you won't be disappointed. We are already planning a return trip to this quaint, "home by the sea" and look forward to our next family retreat.

The location was great but the house was NOT! It lacked cleanliness, fixtures old and rusty. Wasn’t able to use the grill because it was rusty and filthy. Kitchen supplies were not clean and old. Fireplace did not work and had a dead bird inside of it. Bathrooms were dingy and old. Toilets were nearly on the ground, they were so small, fit for a child. Master shower was outdated, dingy. Bathtub had rust and stains. No covering on the bathroom windows, which meant no privacy. They had so many signs posted throughout the house of what not to do. They need to post themselves a sign to update the house and all the amenities. A coffee pot was left on the stove filled with water and all kind of particles floating in the pot along with a lot of rust. That pot had to have been left there for months. So it makes you think how often do they professionally clean the house especially before it’s rented. The kitchen counters and stove weren’t cleaned. The bedroom furniture were damaged, the beds old and not sturdy at all. The front door slams due to not having air springs/shocks and difficulty locking the front door. On top of all this, first day arriving did not have any hot water and second to last day (Christmas day) hot water went out again. Sent text to property management of hot water going out again and they did not send anyone to service the hot water heater. Obviously there’s an issue with the hot water heater. Makes you think again how dod they clean the house without hot water. They didn’t because the house was not clean nor the floors. The exit door in the living room area to hammock was corroded and rusty. Very disappointed! We have rented homes before during Christmas holidays and this was by far the worse home we’ve EVER rented. I feel we need to be compensated with a least half of our money back. This was a horrible stay!

We had a great stay at The Hamptonian! We've been coming to Kure Beach for years and this is by far our favorite house. It's in a great location and the house was very clean! We thoroughly enjoyed the deck, the grill, and spaciousness of the home. Also iTrip was very responsive and informative, they were only a text away if we needed anything. I highly recommend this house and we look forward to returning.

The house was spotless, comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. There is lots of beach equipment and bikes. The host was attentive and check-in easy. Any questions were answered promptly. The neighborhood is lovely and the house is a very short walk from the beach. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

Loved our stay at the Hamptonian House. Large House with lots of space for entertainment. Big TV in the living room was great for family movie night. Very short one block walk to the Beach and Dog Friendly. Lots to do for entertainment around town and restaurants. Could not have asked for a Great Relaxing Vacation with my family.
