Pros:
Great location walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops. Nice kitchen and living room.
Cons:
We found multiple dirty dishes in the cabinet with mouse droppings on them. I messaged the host and received no reply.
The bedroom doors and stairs were extremely creaky and loud. Any movement will wake up the whole house.
The shower knob does not work properly and it is only possible to get extremely hot water or cold water. Nothing in between.

Lake Daze is a beautiful place to stay. An older looking house on the outside gives way a thoroughly updated inside. Very clean with modern conveniences. It’s a short walk to town and close to everything in Hammondsport. Highly recommended; will stay here again on our next trip there.

A beautiful house that has just about eveything you need for a relaxing vacation. The neighborhood is super quiet and you can easily walk into town for shops, coffee and dining. The kitchen was fully equipped and the house was spotless. Upstairs bathroom door sticks, which could wake sleeping guests 🤷♀️. Driveway is quite small, not sure 2 cars can fit without blocking the sidewalk, but there seems to be off street parking if needed. Bedrooms are good size and beds are very comfortable with extra bedding and pillows if needed. Each bedroom has window air-conditioning 😍 as well as in the living room. Front porch is a great place to begin or end your day. All in all a great place to stay! 💜💜💜

Great location. Clean property and quiet street. Comfy couch. Plenty of household supplies for cooking. Loved the big kitchen! Easy walk to town/the lake. Should definitely note that two large vehicles will not fit in the driveway. Upstairs doors stick and are extremely loud. If one person is awake upstairs there's no way anyone else is sleeping in... maybe rugs in the bedroom would help.

Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and welcoming this gem was. It made our stay that much better knowing after exploring the quaint little town of Hamondsport and the surrounding vineyards, hiking trails and state parks, that we were coming to a clean comfortable home. Great find👍

We loved our stay in this charming turn of the century home. What a little gem! The proximity to many finger lakes activities made it the perfect home base for two couples. Comfortable beds and spacious kitchen for cooking called us back “home” to relax each evening. One of our all time favorite rentals for sure!

The reason for how we did not enjoy our stay is because three out of four of us got Covid a few days in to our trip!🤒

This was a lovely little home that's really conveniently located! It's a quick walk to downtown Hammondsport, which has a lot of little shops and restaurants, and is right on Lake Keuka. It's also about a 15 minute drive to some of the wineries on Lake Keuka, and only about a 30 minute drive to those on Lake Cayuga. The check-in process was really easy and the home itself was clean upon our arrival. I would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Hammondsport! Loved all the little details of this newly refurbished place. Great to have a/c on two very humid days. Well equipped with comfy beds; all the bases covered in the kitchen. A couple of minor things need to be worked out (internet access and dishwasher detergent) but all else fine.

The house was very clean in a nice neighborhood. Comfortable seating, lots of towels, nice bathrooms and very light and bright. Mattresses were okay, but I'm older and arthritic bones need something a bit softer. The kitchen was very nice and seemed to have everything you need, but we didn't cook in it because we ate big meals out, so no major cleanups for us! It would have been good to have some instructions on what to do with garbage, since the bin was overflowing when we got there. We would have put it out on Tuesday if we had known that was garbage day. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay and well worth the cost. We would stay here again!

This is the worst experience I ever had with vacation rentals this house was terrible
- The house had foul smell specially bathrooms
- blankets and comforter were un clean and smelly
- the photos are manipulated actual size of house is way too smaller than this
- parking space is very very small
- internet did not work
- dish washer had old water accumulated making thingns unhygenic
