The only negative of the stay was the heat and the thermostat needs to be fixed

This rental was the perfect spot for us. The way this house is laid out makes it feel cozy yet spacious. Inviting kitchen and dining area. I short drive/walk to the most beautiful beach area in Barnstable.

The house is comfortable, with simple furnishings and plenty of dishes and cookware in the kitchen. It is walking distance to the gate at Sandy Neck, so I would imagine it would be fantastic in the summer (we were there at Christmas). It was perfectly situated for us to use as a base for visiting family on the upper and midcape. And it's a dog friendly house; it was a pleasant surprise to see that the yard is fully fenced! It was a good stay!

Clean quiet and well-equipped home located within short drive to lovely beach and walking trails. Restaurants, grocery and shopping less than 10 minutes away. Enjoyed company of our two Portuguese water dogs who settled in quickly and loved daily walks on the beach.

The house was very nice and in a good location but provided privacy. Our only issue was the dust/cob webs in certain areas and dog fur on the comforter.

We loved the house surrounded by so many trees. Each morning we jogged down to the Atlantic which is not even a mile away. Total silence and darkness during the night provided us with the best sleep conditions. The sunroom is such a lovely place to read and dream.

This well-appointed, lovely property is within walking distance to the exquisite Sandy Neck Beach—wonderful to experience even when the last dregs of a hurricane blow through! Our only bumpiness was that the access code number didn't work—but Customer Service quickly supplied one that did.

The house was filthy, window ACs hardly worked and area was full of mosquitoes.

My family and I enjoyed the clean, quaint charm of this property. No complaints.

It was perfect for our needs. Such a cute little house. Very homey, while being simple. The beds were good. The kitchen was sufficient for us and my kids enjoyed the yard (and watching the local turkeys). Sandy Neck Beach was a couple minute drive. Perfect location! It’s been added to our favorites and we will stay here again if we come east again.

Overall, this was a great home and perfect for what we were looking for (a quiet weekend away during the offseason). The home was clean and well equipped. Internet and streaming services worked great. Only had 3 minor complaints: 1) the keypad to access the house didn’t work. This was rectified after 10 minutes of frustration by calling guest services and locating a spare key to bypass the keypad. 2) The house was cold. It was 45 degrees outside and the heat was all off or set at 50. House was chilly but warmed up when we turned up/on all the thermostats. 3) There was no welcome manual or guide. We had to figure out how to turn on the heat, access the appliances, and locate all the amenities. We managed, but a manual/guide would have been nice. All of these inconveniences were relatively minor and the home served our needs quite well.

Loved the house! It was super cute, secluded and well equipped. Great for kids and pets! My only complaint was that on our first full day doorbell rang at 730 am tree company hired by homeowner came to do tree work. Noisy, land locked etc. called vacasa and by the time they called me back tree work was underway they claimed the tree work would be rescheduled not true so it ruined one of our 3 days renting. Asked for refund. Haven’t heard anything! But otherwise we loved the house, location, etc.

We enjoyed our stay before the holidays. Nice kitchen well stocked, but could use a decent chef knife. Very comfortable, short walk to beach, and good setup overall.

We stayed at the Sand Neck escape for a bachelorette party. First of all, I was extremely impressed with Vacasa's responsiveness. They truly care about the comfort of their clients. However, in short - we loved the house, but hated the sleeping situation with the exception of the downstairs bedroom that has a mattress topper on it. Pillows are flat and beds are hard which doesn't exactly make for a pleasant sleeping experience. Other than that, everything was great! Well, except for the message left on the mirror that said "You're Next" when fogged up. I mean, probably a practical joke, but it means the mirror wasn't cleaned by the cleaning staff and not exactly a nice message to stumble upon. Regardless, we had a great weekend!

Home is beautiful, comfortable and very inviting 😊 loved the smart TV and kitchen was well equipped to make a family dinner. Loved the fire fit and outside grill. Tree swing was very charming. Walk to beach was very convenient. The one minor issue was outdoor patio table was not clean so we ate inside and there were ants in the kitchen. We found garbage pail full when we arrived. But overall great stay and would absolutely come back 😊

Great location, close to the beach. Great house as well. Only issue is both of the propane tanks for the grill were completely empty which was a huge nuisance. Otherwise good, clean and would recommend

On the day we arrived, it was extremely hot outside. We had gotten to town a little early so I called Vacasa (who owns the place) to see if we could check in a bit early. They tried to contact the local property manager to see if the house was ready, but had to leave a message when that person did not answer. They assured me the local property manager would reach out to me within half an hour, but we never heard from them so we just drove around until 4:00. The property was super secluded and fairly clean, which was great. The description neglects to mention that there was not an A/C unit in all of the bedrooms, which would have been nice to know. Additionally, they did not put the A/C on before we arrived, so it was sweltering and took a long time to cool down. Overall, a decent stay, but between the poor communication and the lack of pre-planning with the air conditioning, we would not stay here again.

This was a great stay for our 2 adults and 2 kids family of 4. The house was extremely well cleaned, and it looks like all of the previous reviewer's concerns about the exterior had been addressed. There was new deck furniture, a new grill, and the outdoor shower looked to be back in order (but we did not use). Beds were comfortable and all linens were clean. Kitchen has been updated with new appliances and had all the tools and utensils we could have possibly needed. House is about a 20 minute walk from Sandy Neck. Great pizza at Amari's just down the street! We were a little nervous booking a place with so few reviews but it was a great stay and we would stay there again next time we return to East Sandwich.

While the inside was clean the outside needed a lot of work. Grass wasn’t cut, debris all over the deck, a rodent nest in the grill, the umbrella had a rodents stash of nuts and such and had chewed thru part of the umbrella. The outdoor shower wasn’t drained correctly for the winter so the pipes were busted and it was unusable. Also listed was beach towels that where nowhere to be found and my email about the outside maintenance and the missing beach towels went unanswered. We had to purchase towels to use at the beach.
