We stayed at the Hidden Trails Retreat for 3 nights. My husband, myself and our 3 boys (13 and twin 12s) found the home very inviting on arrival! We arrived to a very clean home, with a large basket of snacks! 😋 It was a welcome site after a long drive from Colorado. There was plenty to keep the kids and adults occupied during down times, my husband introduced the boys to some old school PS2 video games and puzzles and games were found throughout the house. Great kitchen with plenty of cookware, dishes, etc. Fridge was stocked with condiments and cabinets full of spices, etc. One of the best kitchens I've experienced at a VRBO (and I've stayed at many!) It had everything and it was all in good working order. Comfy beds. It took us a few minutes to figure out hot water in master shower, but the welcome book gave us direction (amongst many other helpful tips about the house and the town) Location was great. Just a short drive everywhere. Nice, close, hidden path to the park. Overall great stay. I would definitely book again when heading back to Payson!

My wife and I (and our 2 dogs) had a wonderful weekend in Payson. Jon & Sharon very clearly take their role as hosts very seriously - there was nothing that we didn't have. The home was spacious & comfortable. There is nice yard for the dogs, and a very nice neighborhood (and hidden trails) for walks. I can highly recommend staying here if you are ever in Payson.

Our stay was really wonderful. Everything was exactly as stated in the listing, which is rare from my past experiences. The owners of the property did so much more than any of the others-they really do care and go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome. The back yard was absolutely perfect for my granddaughter to play in, being completely fenced provided such peace of mind when we were out there. We plan on visiting Payson again and will definitely cross our fingers that this property is available.

My closest friend of 30+ years and I decided to celebrate our shared April birthdays at Hidden Trails Retreat. We planned to try new recipes and spend a lot of time in the kitchen enjoying each other's company while creating new memories. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with the equipment needed to cook full delicious meals. Jon and Sharon were very attentive, responding to our questions very quickly and ensuring that we were set up for fun in this charming house filled with delightful artwork, games and pretty much anything you could need or want during a stay away from home. The welcome basket for us and the additional gift bag for my little dog was a very nice touch. If we could give Hidden Trails a 10+ we'd do it! Definitely would plan to return if we're ever in the area again. Many thanks to Jon and Sharon for the experience!

Owners make you feel so welcome! They have thought of everything. Very walkable neighborhood. These owners must be wonderful pet parents, as they have things set up so nicely for pets. Bed was comfortable. Kids would be happy here, very easy walk to the park. Would be very cozy on a snowy day with the fireplace going.

We love this property!! This is our third time this year and we plan on coming up again possibly for two more times. The owner is so easy to work with and so accommodating. The house has all these added touches that make it so comfy. You can tell a lot of love goes into this rental. It was our first Easter since our grandson passed away. My daughter lives in strawberry and made a turkey dinner with all the trimmings and brought it over. Our two twin granddaughters live in Payson and came over. It was a wonderful Easter celebration!! There are so many games that will keep you entertained in bad weather like we had. Thank you Jon and Sharon! The welcome basket is a nice touch.

Came up from Tucson for our daughter's softball tournament, but it was canceled because it rained and snowed for days. We were so happy to be in this house. It was as close to being at home as you can get. The hosts are super attentive...had a question and they picked up on the first ring! They are also very sweet. We were greeted by a welcome basket on the kitchen counter, stocked with snacks and treats and amazing local fudge!! What a nice surprise! Our teenage daughter was thrilled. Every amenity that you could ever want is provided for you...coffee, tea, espresso, shampoo, conditioner, etc etc. The house has games, books, comfortable and clean beds and furniture. Very spacious! Two full bedrooms and bathrooms plus a game room with a futon. We didn't get to use the backyard because of the weather, but it looked very nice. If they will have us, we will be back for next year's tournament!

The house was great. Quiet community, awesome little gift basket, great backyard, close to a big park. I would definitely stay here again. Only cons are the couch, not very comfortable, felt like an office couch, and the lack of propane for the fire pit and grille, owners request you bring or buy your own propane tank, seemed kinda strange. Not deal breakers at all. We will probably be back in the Summer. Thanks for letting us stay 😁

We have stayed there a few months ago and absolutely love the home The home was decorated beautifully for Christmas!! Debbie and the girls loved coming over and said that none of them had felt like putting up Christmas decorations but this made them feel very Christmassy!! Debbie thanked us for coming up and making it special time. The first morning there I opened the blinds in the dining room and there was an elk about 10 1 nches away from the window nibbling on bushes in the yard and then I saw three more and my husband had been walking up the corner and he saw 11. What an awesome experience! The house is immaculate and you can feel all the loving touches of Sharon to make it special. Soon as we got home, we booked it for three nights for Easter. You just feel so much love and peace in the home.

This place was beyond perfect! The little details were over the top! We loved absolutely everything about this home! Pet friendly….backyard heaven!!! Loved the backyard gas fire pit! In door wood burning fireplace 🔥 Games galore! Spacious! Room for the whole family! Would love to do a thanksgiving dinner here! Thanks for sharing this gem!!!

We came up to spend the weekend to celebrate Halloween with family who lives in the area. We LOVED this home. It feels so cozy and you feel like you are in a home, not a rental. We didn’t go without anything, 3 options for coffee in the morning, snacks, waters, great backyard to spend some relaxing time in. Plenty of room for us to have our own space and still have time together. We will for sure be back!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The house and amenities were outstanding. We would love to return in the future. We highly recommend this beautiful home and gracious hosts.

Sprobabky our best vacation rental rental. Such a cute, beautiful little home. The backyard is like a magical little fairy land. The hosts were very good about communication and although I didn't need to contact them about anything I'm sure they would have been very responsive. My kids loved the little scavenger hunt and all the activities around the house that were provided. All the little extras really made our stay great. Even had a nice little doggie treat bag for a dog.

Property was lovely. Very clean and everything in its place. Yard was great for our dog. Only issue was the refrigerator temperature was set to high to keep things cold. Beverages were not cold.

All kinds of goodies were available for us. The house is very warm welcoming. Easy to just show up and enjoy.

We rented the house for ourselves and a couplefamily members to stay at for 4 days. Our granddaughter got married at doll baby ranch on Saturday. The house is immaculate and has every amenity you would ever want. All the little extra touches are great. O

This property is in a great location. Easy walk to Rumsey Park which has hiking trails, dog park, pickleball, and much more. Great restaurants close by. The hosts have thought of everything and the accommodations were comfortable. And our dog enjoyed the fenced in backyard. We did have trouble with the TV in the main bedroom and never did figure it out. Our age could have something to do with it. We had the use of the garage which was great. The property was cleaned and well care for. We would definitely stay again.

Jon and Sharon's home away from home is exactly that - an iron board, welcome snacks and waters, a background sanctuary to relax in, great amenities like games, coffee/tea and Kleenex! We were down for the rodeo weekend and this was the perfect spot for my friends and I to decompress and relax. The hosts were great with communication and such. Easy to access/find/clean up. We would stay here again!

Everything was perfect. Beautiful home and gorgeous back yard. All we needed to bring was our clothes and a quick trip to the Walmart in town and we were all set. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This is our second time staying in this lovely home, and we will be staying again on our next visit. It is a great place if you have your furry friends as there is a fenced yard with easy access. There is a wonderful trail nearby, and I was thrilled to see an elk when I went on my morning hike. The neighborhood people were very friendly. The host, Jon, will respond immediately if there are any questions or concerns. I highly recommend this home for your vacation rental.

House full of activities.

These hosts thought of everything. The house had more than most vacation rentals. Toiletries, coffee, spices, etc. I have never stayed at a place that provided these items. Very clean! I also appreciated the food basket and dog bags. It was very thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was located very conveniently to shopping, parks. Lovely neighborhood. We would go again but in a little cooler weather. Our pups really had fun checking out the fence, safe yard.

This was our first vrbo stay and it definitely did not disappoint. The pictures were spot on. Everything was very clean and it felt like home. My kids loved all the games, coloring books and extra activities that the hosts have available to use. The welcome basket was such a sweet extra and really shows they care. The house was a perfect fit for our family of four. It was great having all the comforts of home available when on vacation. I would definitely recommend this property and we play to stay there again when back up in Payson.
