A lovely place to stay with confortable beds in a great location. Nice building too... with a chapel, massage chairs, sauna and more.

Location was excellent for our needs -in the heart of Katoomba and close to shops. The ground floor room was quiet with easy access out to our car parked on the street and the bed was comfortable. Although it was a shared bathroom, the small one we were close to was always free when we needed it and there was a sink and mirror in our room. We liked the new addition of the communal kitchen area with filtered and instant boiling water - it was easier to make a cup of tea there than in the room. The staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with. The Easter gift of a insulated glass bottle was a thoughtful touch

I would prefer to have a room option without the massage chair in the room - it completely filled the space and left little room for moving around and getting ready in the morning. It also made it quite tricky to access the tea and coffee station behind the chair.

I got upgraded to a single room with a private bathroom with no extra cost. And the facilities to eat indoor are handy

There is a massage chair taking up a bit of space in the already small room. I would prefer a set of small coffee table and chair.

The location was excellent. This 1930’s built hotel, though in desperate need of renovation, is very impressive, and deserves to be rescued. The bed was comfortable. Loved the free wifi.

Cleanliness, cramped room, unlocked ground floor window, inability to switch on light from bed, shower over bath, no safety ‘grab rails’ for either bath/shower or toilet. Alternative washing areas, equally dirty and unsafe. No ramps over steps in entry to motel and internal corridor. Hot water plumbing inadequate. Shower floor slippery, with no mat provided. No heated towel rail. Advertised menu unavailable. Staff unable to provide bed-side lamp. No luggage rack, no desk or upright chair. No TV.

The massage chair was lovely and the room was neat and tidy

There was no air conditioning and the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable
