Staff service was good in terms of asking to get the required stuffs but room wasn't cleaned one day.

Terrible hotel breakfast

Beds are the worst I've ever slept on..or at least tried to sleep on. The room doors are so clunky and loud it is so loud you hear when the neighbor opens, leaves, locks and unlocks the door. Pool was small, cold and mirky. The hot tub would have bubbles floating around ot..weird to see. Cost for a 3 night stay was astronomical considering a property like this. We will think twice in ever using a best western property again

Staff very kind

Staff were really accommodating, friendly, helpful, professional. Suite near stairs are noisy due to doors closing and footsteps on the stairs. Noise from street traffic is constant. Bring your earplugs.

The property was nice only a little smaller and a little plain.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and looked like it had new flooring. Complimentary breakfast, not great but not awful either (little sausages were salty and greasy, egg pucks were bland and a little rubbery, hash browns were obviously from frozen. Tiny one bite muffins). I’ve stayed here a few times when visiting family and will be back.

Three easy things to fix here. Sign at desk said “back in five minutes.” Five minutes from when? I waited 8 til I found cleaning staff to find someone for front desk. Gap under the room door of an inch meant I got to hear all conversations, comings and goings. A towel stuffed under there helped. And the blow dryer didn’t work. No one answered at the desk, so I left w wet hair. I was there for a quick overnight stop, would not want to stay longer.

Needed an escape from the heat. Beautiful clean room with air conditioning!

AC was not working.

The unit door bathroom not lock properly and hallway cleaning is average.

It was a lovely stay and the hotel was very clean

The people were nice but there WIFI wasn’t working which doesn’t help when you are in the area for business.

Staff was very pleased

Customer service was horrible. My daughter and i went for her HS Grad, everything was booked and paid for online, however upon arrival the front desk demanded a physical CC with the owner be present. She gave us limited time to come up with a solution, threatening to cancel the room, and not refund over $700 that was already paid. Would not recomend THE BEST WESTERN in Mapleridge

The bath tub was very strange..it had a ‘trench’ down the middle, making it very difficult to stand.

The room was clean, not enough towels and they were hard and scratchy. The pool was fun for kids. Ultimately this room is overpriced

Great hotel..i stay here whenever i am in maple ridge

Was clean and quiet. They have a good breakfast included. Bacon or sausages depending on the day , eggs, hash browns, toast. Waffles with strawberries and whipped topping (my favourite) or other toppings as well. Fruit, cereals, bagels, yogurt, cookies.

Overall our stay was “fine”. As we were unfamiliar with the area we were surprised at the unsavoury location of the hotel. We witnessed open hard drug use and a fight on the sidewalk out front. The hotel is being renovated and had brand new flooring. That being said, the renos are poorly done. The new laminate flooring in our room was covered in paint, moulding was loose and the closet door was missing its track so could not be closed. Our towels and sheets were “clean” but there were many visible stains on them that they had not come out in the wash. The towels were also mismatched and different styles/brands. Not a big deal, but just another thing that stuck out to us. There was a hockey team staying during our stay and the hallways were incredibly loud with running children. If you’re a light sleeper pack ear plugs! The staff including the painting staff were all incredibly nice and helpful and the breakfast was good. We had no issues checking in/out. The hotel served its purpose and we had a place to sleep for the night, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

The area around this property is kind of sketchy. The Google maps says it is on the left hand side of the road, it’s not, it’s on the right. There is a median in front of the property that makes this a difficulty. The lady at the front desk was very nice and efficient both with the check in and when we called to ask if she could deal with the noisy kids running in the hallway after 11. The property is fine but noise was a problem late at night with clumping around in the room above us. Our room was not carpeted and I am certain theirs was not either. The breakfast was rather nice with eggs home fries and sausage, they put a lot of effort in to it. Really nice people taking care of an aging property better than most would.

Can not even begin to describe how disgusted I am with my stay. Bug juice on the bed, illiterate incompitent staff who are all probably related if you know what I mean. Do yourself and your family a favour and stay anywhere but here, the trailer park next door has better aumbience. Best western, more like worst eastern, gross pigs.
