Horrible front room staff!

This place was really vibey. The pool area was beautiful. The garden area was very well kept. They had corn hole, fireplaces and barbecue pit as well as connect four it was really nice area. Between the garden and pool was another lounge area that was open with a built-in wall fireplace. It’s a very nice area to be able to relax or hang out. Have a few drinks with your family or friends. The only problem I had was wrongfully charged $75 for the soap in our room after checkout. The cleaning staff said that they were missing from our room. It clearly states that the soap conditioner and lotion are $25 a bottle. We were not taking any of those. They were used Hotel soaps, not even full, no way I would’ve paid $25 A bottle half empty used hotel soap. That doesn't make sense. It was really disheartening to me because I called to inquire about the $75 charge the gentleman at the front desk. Let me know the cleaning staff said that we took three bottles and that there’s nothing he could do for me. I enjoyed my stay there with my family and I will be going back. I just know now that before I leave I need to confirm with the front desk that the soap are in there because it’s the housekeepers word against yours. Be careful!!!

Toilet leaking raw sewage from the base across the bathroom floor. We were walking around barefoot in the bathroom until we realized the problem. The person at reception was a trainee with no management around. She had not been shown how to work the computer properly and took over half an hour to figure out how to change our room. Mgmt was quick to say 'sorry' but did nothing to make it right. If you don't know how to run a hotel, don't.

Helpful and friendly staff. Check in and out was fast and easy. Nice property.

The staff is super helpful. The inner courtyard gardens and pool are welcoming, serene and quiet.

We chose this hotel as we needed a 2 bedroom option for our family, and Marin Suites did exactly what we needed. It's a little dated, but the suite was clean and comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights, during which there was no housekeeping visit, which did not impact us adversely, but was slightly surprising. Free parking was always available during our stay, but remember to display the permit issued on check-in. I would be happy to stay here again on a future visit.

Very pleasant accommodation.

We received an upgrade to a suite for only one night. It was really nice from the receptionist and it was really good, after 2 nights on a tent. The mattresses were a bit soft. However the hotel was really nice.

It’s good location! Convenient to shopping mall and highway. And it’s big rooms. And they have kitchen stuff too when we stayed the 2 bedroom suit! Staff is very nice and helpful. The room is a little dated. Old carpet. Otherwise. It’s really nice stay.

This hotel is listed as a three-star property, but this is entirely inaccurate. It barely deserves two stars. It is extremely shabby and outdated. Examples: -To access the elevator, you have to hold open a door while handling your luggage. -The rug in the guest room is thin, worn, ugly, and feels disgusting on bare feet. -The shower did not work properly, so that most of the water went in the tub. This is something that should be checked and addressed during cleaning, prior to assigning the room to a guest. - Sound travelled from other rooms. - The outdoor corridors are dirty and need new paint. -The lobby is tiny and inaccessible - one must hold the door open if bringing in luggage, then descend s few steep stairs. -The check-in staff was distinctly unfriendly and very slow and fumbling. Expedia should change its rating of this hotel. It is entirely misleading. The hotel has 3-star room rates but offers less than a 2-star stay. Don't book a room here if you are looking for a comfortable 3-star hotel.

We stayed here because we were spending the day in San Francisco and were taking the ferry in for the day. The hotel was close to shopping and the ferry terminal. Pool was great and parking was free

Very nice suite - we were very happy!

The bang-for-buck here is excellent. It’s not high-class, but the amenities and space are. Little things like having a sanctuary area, towels at the pool, and a small cornhole area make a difference. It’s also right beside a small marketplace with a wine store and Pilates/yoga studio. My suite had two TVs and a kitchen, sofa, king bed, all sub-$200. The air-conditioner is loud and a little annoying, but this is a good place to give a shot.

Staff was rude and when I extended my room they forced me to move into a room with a worse room and a sink that is clogged . Don’t extend stay here expecting to get same room!

It was nice and there was light music playing in the courtyard. The staff was very kind and hospitable. The rooms were very clean and well maintained.

Wonderful stay! So close to shops and a short bike ride from the ferry terminal.

Nice pool and hot tub, nice grounds/garden, stored our luggage after we checked out, 3 real beds (no sofa bed necessary), 3 TVs. Mostly clean, with exception of breadcrumbs on top of fridge, bathroom faucet needs repair.

Great customer service. Our room was in the lower level. It smelled old but overall nice hotel. Close to restaurants.

this is my 3rd time coming to Marine suites. We love this place but this experience was not as good. I was notified on Wednesday evening to call back on Thursday morning for early check-in status. I was told that there was an early check-in available and to come at 1 PM. When I arrived, I was notified that the poolside rooms were not eligible for early check-in. They were gracious enough to give us a pool key but the whole point in coming 3 hours earlier was to unpack and settle in. Our room was not as clean as our first 2 stays. . Lastly, Check out is at 12 PM but we’ve already had two roomservice doorbell ring at 11 and 1120. it feels like I’m being rushed out

All the staff were kind and I was impressed by their careful work. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again.

It looks a little desolate from the outside because it's next to an defunct movie theater building, but once you find the lobby, the actual property is quite nice. The inner courtyard and pool area are definite highlights! The kitchenette in our suite was OK and the plumbing in the bathroom was a little wonky, but the rooms are very comfortable and well worth the price!

This was promoted as "poolside" but it was definitely not. It was a 2nd floor end/corner unit with a view of the PARKING LOT. The white towels and bedding were quite stained, and the noise from other units was quite loud. Otherwise, and all things considered, this property is always a good choice.

This property was so much better than expected

Parking was very limited, wasn't as nice as the pictures from the outside. Communal areas like the pool and fire pit was nice and clean. There were stains on the towels. The light fixtures were all a bit odd and the outlets placements were a bit funky. Sound insulation wasn't great. A little dissapointing but nothing too bad.

We always stay here when we visit.

A nice relaxing getaway and relief from the heat wave.

This property would be good for an extended stay for families since there is a grill on site as well a fridge, sink, and tables in some rooms. The only issue we had was that the hot tub was more warm and didn't work well and our shower was a little weird. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We wish we could have stayed longer. This hotel & its amenities were stunning. The staff & other guests were friendly.
