Cant beat the price! That being said, i also found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable.

Room was not cleaned, went to the front desk around 3 pm after a funeral and the clerk said he would get with housekeeping. When i retuned from dinner,the room still was not cleaned! Went back to the front desk,same clerk, tells me i did not put the hang tag on the door! I was never given a hang tag. Clerk said that was the fault of the person that checked us in.

Clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor area near the small beach. Never disappoints!

The price was great, and the location was within my route of travel.

Rooms are comfortable if a bit outdated. Location is right on the water. You can just go right outside and watch the waves roll in. There's even a grill out back.

Overall everything was good. There was a Bug in the ice Bathroom door wouldn't stay open and sink stopper wouldn't come up

staff was helpful to get me into a room early due to a medical condition but with knee surgery conditions an elevator would have helped. no first floor rooms were available

The coffee pot was in the bathroom it should never be there! The bed is very hard! Otherwise the stay was great!

The breakfast is pretty minimal. Shower had a couple inches of water in it after 5 minute shower.

Beautiful spot right on the water and location was convenient to the area we wanted to stay the evening in, parking was easy to navigate even with part of the parking lot being blocked off for maintenance. Staff was friendly with average service. Room was disappointing. The floors were dirty with noticeable hairballs in the corners and random things such as thumbtack, confetti and spare change were found by my kids. The refrigerator froze my child's bottle along with other items and the hair dryer was coated with a layer of grim. The only good things about this room were the sheets, they were so soft and the variety of pillows with some being soft and some firm.

The facility is average. Some of the carpets in the hall are filthy. The furniture is OLD and dated. Seems fairly clean for the most part. There is nothing fresh for breakfast... Very limited options.

It was perfect for one night hang out getaway

Last minute decision to stay while driving through the UP at night when it was foggy and lots of deer were roaming about. Great decision. The late night staff was accommodating and helpful. I had clean sheets and a room in a pet friendly motel on the lake.

The place is older but well kept. The breakfast was minimal.

In the bay

Good location on the water. Only complaint the internet service doesn’t reach all the rooms, I had to go outside my room and down the hallway to connect to internet and stay in that location. Otherwise after connecting if I went back to my room my phone would drop the connection.

It’s a nice budget hotel by the lake. The staff is friendly. They have done a good job making the most of an older property. The room was clean and spacious. The AC was highly appreciated. We would stay here again. A few things that could improve the guest experience would be more breakfast options (bagels, yogurt and fresh fruit would be great as well as half and half for coffee) and better pillows.

The bed was a little too firm for my husband but overall it was clean, staff was very friendly and the view of the lake was nice.

The back grilling seating area and small beach are a highlight for a great view of the lake. Parking is easy and convenient. Bed was comfortable. The eco flow nozzle on the sink is a little frustrating since it’s very slow but understandable. For the price it was a good hotel.
