A fairly basic hotel. Rooms rather gloomy owing to small single windows.
Good sized comfortable bed and adequate washroom. Restaurant offers reasonable food at a fair price, but breakfast is a bit patchy - bread and pastries not the freshest, scrambled eggs only edible if you get there at dawn! Fair selction of cereals, fruit, cooked meat and cheese. Coffee drinkable but not strong enough. Reception and cleaning staff pleasant and efficient
Private car park with CCTV a great asset and proximity to Auchan hypermarket could not be more convenient.

We stayed for 1 night and it was perfect, great breakfast and great location especially before taking the ferry to Newhaven

Good for an overnight stay. We arrived late from the ferry but bar still open. The room was a bit cramped but clean. Bathroom good size and clean. Sound proofing could be better. Surprisingly good breakfast. Free parking by the hotel.

We have used this hotel before, restaurants nearby, easy to park and very handy for the ferry port.

Disappointing. From the outside the hotel looks very run down and tatty.
Reception service was begrudgingly offered and no mention was made of the fact that the restaurant was closed. I was only told at 7.00 in the evening, four hours later and that there was a restaurant a short walk away.

It was an unscheduled stay due to cancelled ferry. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Good varied menu in the bar. Food was excellent. Left at 5 am so didn’t have breakfast but it was all set out ready if you needed it.

Finding the hotel is not easy. Poor signing. I was so close to it and still couldn’t find it.
Miss the kettle in room.

Nicely placed for an overnight stay following a late arrival from the Newhaven -Dieppe ferry.
The room had an ajoining door to the next room. The occupant's cigarrete smoke filtered under the door and into our non smoking room. Otherwise the room was comfortable and the toilet/showering facilities were very good.

THe place was like a furnace, no air con which is very poor in this day and age.they told us we can open the window but when we did the room became full of flying insects. Very disappointing as the prices to stay are far lower further down in France and they all have air con. Will not recommend to friends for stopover in the summer months.

I’ve stayed in this hotel several times and it always leaves a lasting impression. Close to the port and shopping centres conveniently situated and family in La Bourg Dun is only a 20 mins drive from hotel. Staff are always friendly, room is always clean and comfortable and the shower works every time!

We came to stay for two nights and it was lovely, very welcoming. Nicely situated near to shops and not far from the sea front. Great breakfast. Very enjoyable generally.

It was a bit difficult finding entrance to hotel, but once we did enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very convenient to major highways for traveling. Restaurants and shopping nearby. Tres bon!

Struggled to find the hotel late at night. Another couple struggled for over 1 hour close to midnight.
The hotel is well located for onward journeys onto motorway network though.

Very pleased with the quality of the cotton bedding, slept great.
The dining area could be upgraded, it seemed rather dark and sole less- so we ate elsewhere.

This hotel is good value for money. There are some drawbacks to it like there is no facilities in the room for having a drink, ( tea or coffee ). I had to go to the restaurant each time I wanted hot water or a coffee, which I was charged for. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The food is excellent and a good choice is given at both meals. I would return.

Woken up early by other guests several times who didn't realise the doors slam shut automatically unless held. There were English channels on the TV but both were claiming no signal or poor picture. It was quite late and we didn't want to bother staff with this.

After a long trip on motorcycles it was very nice to arrive and have a lovely hot shower and a comfy bed to sleep in.

Difficult to locate late at night, off the ferry, but staff all very helpful and breakfast excellent.

Unfortunately we were given a smoker's room and it was obvious from the odour as soon as we stepped in. The hotel did switch us to non smoking when we went back to the reception and also showed us the quickest way to the ferry, through town. Ample parking and a comfortable bed and a meal at the best fish restaurant in town made getting up at 4.30 for the ferry bearable.
