Stayed overnight for a nearby swim meet. Room was clean comfortable. Black out curtains definately work! I woke and thought it was the middle of the night but it was 7:45. Staff was friendly. Only downside was that tub in room 315 held water when showering, drain probably needs to be cleaned. Staff notified of this when checking out.

It’s almost impossible to get a hold of somebody via the phone to make a reservation so book online. However, the facility itself is clean and comfortable, breakfast was good and I would stay again (I came in for an event and missed out on the group rate as nobody EVER answered the phone after calling 5 days straight at various times…about 30 calls in total). Once in person, the front desk and other facility staff were wonderful, just nobody answers the phone!

Great staff, traveling solo by motorcycle and was concerned about safety, they had me park it under the entrance canopy, and assured me it would be looked after. This was outstanding! My stay was great, will most definitely stay again when in the area. Highly recommend!

Check-in was very pleasant. Desk lady was very nice and informative. This hotel hasn't been renovated in many years and the bed was low and worn. Carpets in hallway were stained. Things were surface clean, but not deep clean. Breakfast wasn't free at this location. No perks

The restaurant for breakfast was disappointing after such friendliness from other staff members..waitresses were rude and overwhelmed with a few tables took 1 hour for our eggs homefries and toast and never checked in us or got drink refills tables around us never cleaned off the whole time to turn others away telling them a hour wait

You are so lucky to have the 2 ladies you have working the desk . Both were so patient , kind and went out of there way to helping me. And your waitress lady in restaurant was outstanding covering all those tables by herself and did that with a smile while clearly being overworked . Fantastic stay!!

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and well-kept. Wallpaper is a little unusual. If you like circles and angles, you will love it! Seriously, we enjoyed our stay.

We only stayed here 1 night for a wedding & left really early next morning but it was very clean comfortable bed & staff was extremely nice. Restaurants within walking distance.

---Bed in 519 was too old, indentations where too many people had slept gave me a terrible night's sleep, and a backache I am still working out. Worst bed I have slept in, in years.
---Called the Guest Assistance line several times, at several points, with no response(s) at all.
---I wanted ice. Since Guest Assistance did not respond to let me know where the ice room was, I went down to the front desk. When the Desk Clerk came to the desk from the office she informed me that in the future, ice was located at xxx. I said I called Guest Assistance to find that out with no response. She said "Well, I am busy".

I asked the front desk upon arrival and asked how to use my rewards when making a reservation she said I’m not sure which is ok but now I was in able to use my reward’s

We had a great 2 night stay in one of the suites. The room is slightly outdated and could use some fixing up. The air systems are old, outdated, very loud (woke us up every time it came on) and the one in the living area was held up by pieces of wood and not even properly fit to the base. Other than a few cosmetic/noise issues it was well worth the money spent to be able to let the baby have room to play!

Auburn’s a great little town — great people, good spirit — and the Holiday Inn is in a great location to take it all in. It’s a five minute walk to Prison City Brewery and to a handful of cafes. It’s also a short walk from the hotel to Harriet Tubman’s resting place. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the beds are pretty comfy. I would have been happy to have stayed longer.

The hotel was great. I enjoyed myself. The only concern i had was the kureg machine for making coffee was disgusting and dirty brown stuff in the area where you add the water. It was not clean. And disappointing i could not make coffee in my room.

Our room was sub-zero freezing on arrival. We tried to adjust the temperature, but concluded that the thermostat had a mind of its own. The front desk solution was to offer to send maintenance to the room—which we declined as we weren’t dressed for visitors. In the end, we ran the heat to warm the room, and then turned the settings to recirculate air only (because we needed the noise of a fan to drown out the noise from a gathering in the atrium…..)
Also figured out how to tuck the window shade into the window frame to reduce the bright light coming in around the sides of the shade. Wished I had brought strong magnets, to secure the shade to the frame…

Shower leaking all out on the floor when showering. No lip to contain water or floor not slopped right. Air unit in room not working right, too cold. Unit so loud. Old tv, no online guide. Peeling wall paper. Hotel definitely needs some updating.

When I got there and said who I am. They did not respond and start calling. A while later I asked them what is going on. Then they told they were working on my check-in. Another while later, I asked again, and they told me it was over-booked and they were looking for other place - my room was prepaid and booked last year. Then I check with. their home page and look out the other hotel with same chain and asked them my reservation to that hotel. Then they found empty room at there and let us in. What was a situation? I feel they had a room but looking for cheaper alternative.

Property itself is great. When I returned from a day outing we were locked out of our room was not too happy. Took about an hour to get resolved but was glad our dinner was compensated at the bar. Definitely will return when in the area.

The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain the AC heat unit roared most of the night. A mistake booking there.

The first night we went to tell the front desk that the carpet was soaked all in front of the window. Guy came to say that the AC was leaking. The solution was to turn off the AC. It was so hot in the room the next day and night. The bathroom shower and corners of room have black mold. I assume it is the leak issue because after the AC was shut off it was quite moist in the room. I spoke to the desk again. No fixes no apologies etc. Also a very loud hotel since the people partying in the pool area late at night echoes into the rooms.
