Short walk to the town clean hotel

Arrived between 6.00 & 7.00 pm but room not ready so not a good start Check in receptionist not friendly Reception was a personality free zone but were helpful if asked to advise Good position Room decor a bit tired

Very comfortable, excellent location, and helpful staff; get rid of the stained chairs and it would be perfect.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff, food was good too. I would recommend this hotel as it had secure parking for my motorcycle.

Everything was great

Handy for walking into the town. Good carpark. Great selection at breakfast. Staff member at breakfast area very professional, efficient and with great attention to detail.

We required a hotel that was clean and comfortable close to the main part of town with a secure car park and the Mercure Bresancon Parc Micaud fitted our needs well. Our room was spacious and there is a restaurant in the hotel. All staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel requires a refurbishment. We found this hotel very suitable for our needs.

We stayed fir one night during a trip from Gernany to southern France. The Hotel is situated near to the historical city but easy to reach by car and providingbits own free parking ground.

Bathroom is uggly. Furnitures and decos from an old age!!!

Where to start... Old hotel, no comfort. It was 95 deg outside and no AC in the room, hotels don't believe in AC in France. Impossible to get even a fan. For a 4 star hotel, a lot to improve from slow WIFI to bedding and of course the ability to make customers comfortable during the hottest week of the year.

The hotel lobby is modern but once you go to the elevator you begin the journey into the past. I was very disappointed at the rooms comfort and lack of style.

This was a last minute booking as the hotel we had booked was disgusting. What a great find. The staff were very helpful and the rooms comfortable. A short walk over the river into the town revealed a great place to explore. We will definitely go back.

We only had one night in the hotel, though we had reserved two. It was not as close to the town as we expected, but Besancon was going through many road improvement projects at the time. There was also a Braderie in the town at the time, which clogged up the streets. We did walk to the Citadelle and back, which is worth a visit, and needs at least a half day to appreciate. Driving to the hotel and away from the hotel was slow and difficult because of the road improvement work, and the high level of traffic. Parking was easy, and secure. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Quiet and comfortable room, with good facilities. Limited food options in the restaurant, not to our taste, so we did not use it.

That was not a very clean hotel. The food was terrible. They put my husband and son in a smoking room (we requested non) and the sheets and bedspread had burn hole in them. When he asked for new, they gave him the same thing. Never again! They had our whole soccer club in from NJ and couldn't give good service or clean rooms. This was one of many hotels that we are expected to stay in when being invited to these tournaments. You would think it would be of higher standards and quality!
