This hotel was pure luxury. The staff went above and beyond. The food service was excellent as was the bar. The location was extremely good for shopping sightseeing. It was just a short walk to the river. Unfortunately our view could’ve been fabulous. looked onto a construction site of a company who had gone bankrupt and it was in process, but not going anywhere.

Excellent and exceptional hotel in the center of Düsseldorf.
Very elegant setting, very friendly and hospitable staff, large and comfortable rooms.
The onsite restaurant Dutchy serves delicious contemporary dishes. The Personal Assistants who can help every guest are also excellent

Probably the best hotel in Germany, and among the best in the world. Outstanding service, amenities, location, price / value, amazing lobby lounge, spacious rooms and bathrooms, great floor plans, thoughtful interior touches, excellence throughout.

Again, our stay here was amazing! One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Service is incredible.
The only remark this time, valet parking price has increased significantly. And if you want to charge your car: €45,- extra! This service should be included in the valet/hotel price in my opinion.

A rare gem. Congratulations to the owners and everyone involved. We enjoyed the Duchy Suite which are exceptionally well thought through in EVERY detail. If you travel a lot- this is a home away from home. Thanks for an outstanding experience.

The Breidenbacher Hof hotel in downtown Dusseldorf is hands down one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in. The rooms and large "guests only" living room are lovely, it is in walking distance of museums, shopping, historical buildings and across the street from the tram station. But the best part of the hotel is the staff. Ever accommodating, they work tirelessly to ensure that your stay is a pleasant one. Katrin and Lasse are delightful and always helpful-addressing my myriad questions politely and without even a hint of exasperation!

This hotel is one of the finest in Dusseldorf. Very convenient location. The rooms were very spacious, quiet, clean, comfortable. THEY are missing USB for easier smart phones connection. Breakfast was good; however, extremely expensive for what it was offered daily. ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful, very outstanding thanks TO ALL.
I was very disappointed with the reservation and front desk manager. We lost over $5,000 because I booked several rooms in advance, one of the employees had an accident in the USA a few days before the travel, the hotel didn't help giving any credit even when after an agent from Expedia called to explain. That was a lot of money when we paid over $40,000 for all the rooms.

I liked every thing about this hotel. I liked the idea of the living room as a place to relax at for all guests. Staff are all supportive and friendly. Their is one small incident that bothered me a little which is regarding the reservation at the restaurant where i went to without reservation because i was told to go as i am a hotel guest but after i sat down at the table waiting to be served the menu, unfortunately a lady who is working helping guest to dining asked me to move to another table in a manner that I didn’t like. She was followed by a family whom she helped set on that table, i left the restaurant and never came back and instead ordered room service which was provided by a very nice Lady calls Saadah which in my language means happiness. But over all i loved the hotel and will certainly come back when i am in town.

Stayed at the hotel as a stopover on our way home to Amsterdam. Was taken back by how beautiful, clean, comfy and welcoming the hotel was. After getting to our room we immediately commented on how we need to come back and stay for longer. Not to mention, the staff genuinely was nice to our two big dogs, not pretending like they cared. We believed they truly did. 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone in Dusseldorf. Wow. We'll be back.

The hotel looked beautifully decorated for Christmas. The mini bar and snacks were free. Just don’t order any water by room service as it is 12 euro a bottle which would have been good to know when we asked for it with the extra pillow.
