Great location - near the airport and walking distance to the tram to go into the old town in Zurich. Very quiet. Comfortable bed.

I checked in & none of the lights in the bedroom portion worked. The heat was on high. I went to the desk and advised they fixed right away. I went to dinner at the restaurant and specifically asked for no onions. Ended up with onions on my food which causes a reaction. I barely slept that night and then on my 10 hour flight I was sick multiple times and afraid I was going to cause the plane an emergency landing because I was so sick from the food. All the hotel said was sorry sorry. That didn’t help the flight and how miserable I was from the food error.

WE NEVER CHECKED IN!!! Our reservation was changed, last minute, to another MOVENPICK that was over an $80 EURO trip each way farther from the airport!!! NOT ACCEPTABLE

The air in the room doesn’t move much volume, which makes the room not really get colder. They also only provided 2 full size towels, even though we had reserved a double queen with 4 people.
Overall, the hotel and room were suitable, but some basic details were lacking.

We called for pickup and no one answered the phone. Upon check in there was a huge group and only two people at front desk

Hotel was a decent all rounder. Shuttle bus was a fantastic service and helped us so much going back and forth to airport which has a mall and train station there. Requested a travel cot on the booking but had to ask again for one to be provided. Bathroom was grubby and aged lots of watermarks discolouration and limescale and bath not cleaned well. Rest of room immaculate beds cosy. Staff very helpful the free chocolate hour was cute especially if you have kids.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We reserved a room with two beds and they’re promised us somewhere to stay. They tried to get us to move hotels after not giving us the room we paid for. They put us in a filthy room with 1 bed and promised us roll away beds and never showed up. They laughed in our faces after we had to sleep on the floor. I would give this place a 0 if I could.

No AC working in such a hot summer. No fans provided. No one answers phone. Only one front desk person for the entire hotel. Old and worn out furniture. I hear guests complaining that front doors not closing. No maintenance available. I had to check in at midnight. And checked out immediately in the morning. Not a good hotel especially for family and will never prefer again.

The stay was fine. I had prepaid for 2 rooms. I understand they always put a hold on your account, we paid the taxes when we left, and after we left they changed the “hold” to a charge on one room. The other hold fell off, but we are struggling to get this overpayment credited back to my account.

Check in went smoothly. It went downhill from there. Got to our room, opened the door and it was like a sauna. Called front desk to have maintenance help. Said they would be right up. 1 1/2 hour later went to front desk to request maintenance. They called again. 1 hour later gave up. Opened the windows on the room and left it at that. Went to the one and only restaurant (ads stated 2 restaurants and a bar) and had a very good sandwich. Spoke with the waitress. She stated the a/c has been broken for 3 weeks, this hotel was the oldest in Zurich and it is scheduled to be demolished in 3 years. Room was good, bed comfortable just couldn’t get the room cool so not much sleep!!!! Assistance on this big issue was nowhere to be found.

We got to the hotel at 9 pm with reservation for 3 rooms. Initially they found reservations but another front desk person said something to him and all the sudden, our reservations were cancelled. We were told that we did not call to confirm by 6 pm!!. We have credit card guarantee for the booking. I believe that they overbooked and just kicked us out. We were able to find very nice hotel nearby. We are told that this happens a lot at Mövenpick.

A bare bones airport hotel. The positive: a very decent breakfast buffet that comes with the room. The room was clean enough for my needs. The negative: non-working TV and it took 20 minutes to check-in due to long lines and limited number of staff.

The room was extremely hot, the AC did not work and we were not offered another room but were offered a very small fan. It was impossible to sleep. We should of just slept somewhere in the airport while we waited for our connection.
Also the airport shuttle is deceiving it is only offered for pick up certain hours, we waited at the airport for an hour only to take a taxi which cost us an obscene amount for a 5 minute drive.
Staff were great at this hotel, did what they could to make us happy but next time we will not be staying here

The air conditioning (AC) didn't work and room was hot. Fortunately, we arrived late and could open the window at night to get some breeze. Although there was no screen mesh, we didn't see any bug or mosquitos coming in through the window. The room phone to operator or front desk didn't work. So we couldn't call to report the AC issue. We didn't find an ice machine in our floor either. Being too tired after a long journey, we had no energy to go back to lobby to find ice!

Arrived around midnight so we can’t say much about the area surrounding the hotel. It is conveniently located, close to the airport. Front desk clerk was friendly, helpful, and informative during check in. Our one year old grandson enjoyed interacting with him. Very professional, but also friendly.

!!invoice My stay was 222 euros and this amount. It is stated in the final invoice, but the amount of 242 euros has been deducted from my card. I called the hotel and they said to send an email.

The room’s air conditioning was not working as expected. They have it set pretty standard and cannot be adjusted so we were miserable on those 2 nights of stay while temperature outside was in the 90’s. Also, they did not honor my booking for free breakfast as well.

The property is not clean and ac was not working, they changed the room, but still the same issue and toilet was also not flushing properly in the other room.

Our AC was broken. Although it turned on (I had to ask the front desk how to use it because the icons on the knob were faded from use), it did not get cold.
Even if it had worked, I’m not sure how cold it would have gotten because there was no temperature gauge, just a knob that turned to hot (+) or cold (-).

We stayed for only one night before an early morning flight. Room was clean and spacious. Super convenient the free shuttle for the airport, in only 10 minutes you are there.

Property is really good and staff is really polite but the concern is the sense of security. Every time you step out of the hotel you have to re-active your entry card. I felt that’s really a concern there a security issue and there is no air conditioner in the lot of rooms and the manager was very disrespectful instead of apologetic he was rude.

Close to the airport good for overnight before early departure.rooms are clean and staff friendly.Good value for money, but breakfast price ridiculous. Would only recommend BF in case you have lots of time and spend fay in Zurich
