An incredible stay in an Old World, classic European capital hotel. They made us feel like visiting royalty. We had a most spacious room. Staff catered to our everyday need. Impeccable service. Very extensive, delicious breakfast. Everything fresh and freshly baked in buffet. Other items on offer could be made to order. Walking distance to many interesting shops, museums, attractions, interesting neighborhoods, canals, restaurants.

Beautiful hotel in the best neighborhood. Fantastic restaurants all around and the Esher museum next door. Quiet and lovely.

We always stay at the Des Indes in Den Haag. It is so elegant and well located. Our room was quiet, comfortable and had a very nice view over the city. Breakfast buffet is always nice though a bit pricey. Overall a great hotel.

Amazing place, excellent service

I like the location of Des Indes but it's a little old-fashioned. Some would say it's charming, but waiting for an outdated lift for 3 minutes is a little bit too long. Also in the morning, when I wanted to shower, I discovered there were no amenities in the bathroom: no shower cap, no toothbrush of razor, little sewing kit or whatever, nothing. For a hotel in this price range it's a bit of a disgrace. Having said that, the valet parking is great, staff are friendly, breakfast is decent. They also apologised profusely for the lack of amenities. The room was also quite small but since I was only there for the 1 night, it wasn't a problem. All in all I am not sure I would stay there again, since my previous experience at the same hotel was fantastic and this time it disappointed a little. May have had to do with the fact that the hotel was quite full with tourists.

You feel like a movie star staying here! It is a beautiful old hotel and the service is really world class. From the reception by doormen Kennedy and Yvo to the front desk and the waitresses in the stunning dining room. Highly recommend!!

Overpriced

The Hoyel Des Indes was lovely. We had a wonderful trip around The Hague. There was beautiful restaurants and bars around the hotel and easy to get to.

This is a lovely, unique property. Very friendly staff. The rooms are well appointed, and convenient location for work

IT! WAS! SUPERB!!

The hotel des indes is one of the world’s best hotels. It’s been there for centuries ee feels modern and up to date. It’s good enough for rock stars, heads of state and the Dali lama so it exceeded my standards in every way. You won’t get better service anywhere.

Great spot with many bars and restaurants nearby. Close to train station.

The stay was great again. Service (staff) did an excellent job. Dinner and breakfast was also good. Steak was perfectly prepared and the breakfast had much choices.

A very nice and unique building. The location is perfect. Service was wonderful. Breakfast very tasty and rich. The room is a bit small, and a bit dark (not enough lights).

Wonderful service and property

Stunning hotel and foyer, 5 star for sure. Staff however, with the exception of the porter very poor. Dining a nightmare, waited 15 mins to be told dish was not available then reordered stakes which arrived 1 hour later cold.

It seems that the chef has left. The menu offerings are uninspired and very limited. The hotel itself is beautiful and well equipped. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We will be back.

Excellent rooms if a bit quirky, comfortable with excellent bed and bathroom. Staff variable, cheerful but disorganised; better training of front desk staff needed. Location excellent. Not a five star hotel, a good four at best.
