Good location, close to the centre of Orleans and only a short walk away. Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms were good value.

Handy location with good parking. Property was well presented and our room was very clean. Breakfast was also very nice.

Christian at the Reception gave us an enthusiastic and informative welcome. The entire staff was communicative, efficient and affable. The room was comfortable, spacious and functional with river view. It became warm in the middle of the two nights, even though the thermostat indicated 18C. Felt like 26C. Dinner at L'Entreact was a pleasant surprise. Our waiter, Mourchad was attentive and took excellent care of us. The Menu offers a vast variety of choices. Food preparation was very good. The entire wait staff offered great and accommodating service to all patrons. And specially with children. The facade needs a touch up but the lobby is classy.

Very comfortable, great value, parking onsite and situated close to the city centre. An ideal hotel for a long weekend stay.

The beds are not the comfiest, pretty hard. The rooms are tired and need to be updated to match the rest of the hotel. The pool was wonderful Selection at breakfast was very good

Have stayed here before when in the area. Always our first choice. A short walk to the city centre too for restaurants and bars.

Great overnight stay. The hotel is conveniently situated at the entrance to the city so easy to park and then a 10 minute walk into the centre along the river. Good sized room (we had a family room) which was comfortable. We didn't have breakfast but it did look nice so we definitely do that next time. Lovely outside pool area and a really friendly welcome. We love Orleans so this is a great stopover for us

Really well located hotel, welcoming, warm, and smart with a lovely big bedroom

We really enjoyed dinner in the restaurant - it was original and delicious, and included fresh vegetables. Breakfast was good too. The room was comfortable with a good shower. The only drawback for me was the décor. I found it lacked subtlety and good taste - lots of black and hard, shiny accents.

All good apart from the expensive Buffett breakfast experience where cutlery was dirty, there wasn’t enough food or service for the number of people.

For this kind of 4 Star hotel the kitchen is too poor/limited. Only the wine choice is ok! The rooms are good.

Great location

The common areas at this hotel are beautiful. The outdoor deck and pool are beautiful, the reception area is very nice, and the restaurant is attractive. The location is great. The hallways and our room needed paint and updating. The porch floor was pealing and cracked, and the ceiling had what looked like a water leak line. The dinner staff were wonderful, especially Massey and the chef…and the food was delicious. The breakfast staff were not great, with minimal friendliness and interaction, and the breakfast buffet was very poor. Very poor scrambled eggs, a rude response from 1 male waiter when a request was made for a fried egg, the cheese choice was minimal, sweaty and moldy, and there was no fruit salad. The breakfast staff were more concerned about setting up for lunch in stead of attending to our needs. Very poor. They need waitress and waiter training!!

Nice location. Car park in line with expectations. Room fittings a little dated. Generally as expected and very pleased.

This hotel should not be a 4 stars. Very old furniture. Not outlets with international plugs. No plugs by the bed. Truly need to be renovated. The pictures are much better than the actual room. Humidity in the bathroom with low ceiling. Not Impressed for a Mercure! Not worth the amount paid!

Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, clean beds, BUT Carpets all dirty UGLY old carpets all over. Hotel needs a up date urgen, teh least replace carpets in rooms and all hotel areas, dirty stained carpets all over.
