The hotel is in a brilliant location. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly & helpful - front desk, cleaning staff & the waiters. We had a problem with the A/C in our room & needed to move rooms - this was all sorted very promptly. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a lovely few days in Mannheim.

Clean and good service. Parkingplace next to hotel with indoor entrance. Breakfast was good.

Many extras like coffee/tea in the room, infused water, biscuits and hard candies in the lobby. Nice after a long day of travel.

Ruhiges Hotel

I was traveling with my parents for leisure. I got a really good deal at a relatively cheap price. My parents loved the hotel and its facilities. I've been on business trips to other Leonardo hotels before so I am quite familiar with the good experience. The hotel staff was courteous, friendly, and smiling-seemed very welcoming. The rooms were quite nice, location is fantastic too. Not too far from the main railway station if you use public transport. The hotel has a grand piano and they seem to love it if you can play the piano well. I was given a free cold drink in the night when I played the piano, and also 3 (0.5 liter) cartons of water during check-out with a special compliment about my piano skills. Overall, fantastic experience! P.S. If you arrive late in the night and see the fountain outside the hotel is on, do take a video/picture immediately because it turns off at some point.

Perfect location for us.

Very convenient and comfortable.

While this is a beautiful hotel and a great location in the city, our experience was terrible. The staff was rude checking in. We did not understand the parking, and the woman was irritated when she explained a second time. They stored our suitcases because we arrived a few mintues early, but they were not happy about it. Even though we had the temperature set at the lowest setting with the fan on high, our room was actually hot. The hallway temperature was significantly cooler than our room, and we had also left the window ajar to bring in some of the cool evening air. When we were charged overcharged for parking (over double what we had been told when checking in), the front desk clerk abrasively told us that we just have to pay whatever the machine tells us because it is not a part of the hotel. We parked our car at 16:00 and drove away at 8:30 the following morning. We were charged 28 euros. It was outrageous. I would definitley NOT recommend this hotel.
