Liked the fresh clean sheets and the view of the bridge. Facility is a bit outdated but manageable.

Great location and beautiful view! The room was clean, spacious, but had a horrible musty odor, very strong and I found it difficult to sleep. We were lucky weather was great so we were able to open up windows and let fresh air in which minimized odor. I know it’s an old building and sometimes it is what it is. We were there for 3 nights and requested room service but all they did was give us new towels, did not straighten bed sheets etc..

Riverview rooms have spectacular views. Great river walk right outside the room. Friendly staff.

Quiet little inn, quaint high street location. Picturesque water views overlooking a small marina with the fort in the distance. The facility is somewhat dated but still comfortable and well appointed. Minimal staff interaction, pleasant but not overly welcoming during check in. Prices are reasonable. Bed was a bit of a let down, very soft pillow top mattress upon which i quickly sank down to a hard surface and felt like my feet were slightly higher than my head. 4/5 would recommend.

Nice place to stay overlooking the waterfront. The bedspread was dated but looked very clean. The bathroom ceiling needs to be replaced, the steel rails for the tiles were rusty.

Wish that they would upgrade their WiFi system. We’ve been here several times over the years and it’s the slowest, virtually unusable.

Great location on water, can see Fort Knox and the bridge/observatory, boats. Nice walking path next to ocean, windows open so you can get fresh air. Employees at desk were kind! But: Elevator only works when employees are there. The room smelled funny, the weak AC wasnt turned on and was just stuffy. Notes taped to mirror said "towels are from hotel for your hands/face and spills" or something like that. What about a shower? I dont get the point of taping what towels are used or not used for. Wasnt impressed for the price paid.

It would have been nice to offer a breakfast as there was little in the area.

The hotel is right on the Penobscot River and has a picture perfect view of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge. Our room had, by far, the best water pressure of any hotel where we have stayed and that is one of our big tests of a hotel room. The hotel was quiet and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is right in the middle of Main Street with lots of shops and restaurants well within walking distance.

It was good stay! The river view was incredible! We were there only to sleep at night... But would have been nice to have a lobby with a few tables and chairs!

The rooms are dated, but clean. The mattress was the worst part of this stay. It was so worn out that you sink into uncomfortable holes in the centre.

Great location in Bucksport. An older building, but room was clean well maintained.

Lovely view of the bridge and Fort Knox

We had a very pleasant stay. Hotel is located in a great spot with a nice walking trail along the river. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Check in and out was a breeze. We will definitely stay again next time we are in the area.

Great view of the Penobscot River! We like to recycle, so I give this comment to every hotel. You will score points with at least a place to recycle bottles with a little blue bin in your rooms. More pillows please for those who need them.

Wonderful modern hotel in a small town. Unbelievable view on waterfront too! It’s a safe bet and very clean.

Room was better than expected. View was amazing. The town is beautiful around the hotel.

Unfortunately the room was not vacuumed as we found someone’s prescription medication on the floor along with ear plugs and trash.

Dora at the front desk was very helpful.

Clean rooms with great view overlooking the Fort. Had dinner at a restaurant right across from the inn which was delicious. Cute town.

This was such a cute and convenient place to stay! We stayed when we had a concert at Maine Savings Bank Arena. We knew there weren’t any transportation options and still had to drive to the concert and park there, but if you don’t mind doing that, this is a clean, friendly, affordable place to stay if you are in town for a show. Check in was quick, and the lady at the desk was friendly and helpful, no muss, no fuss. Check out was the same. While the rooms look quaint and outdated, the mattresses, bedding, and pillows and all new and updated and as comfortable as any new hotel. The bathroom, toilet, and shower were also new, updated, and worked like a dream. Highly recommend a stay here for a cute little trip to Bangor for antiquing or vacation, as well.

I like this place - the views are wonderful. There is a beautiful river walk that I took the last time I was here. It's clean and comfortable. More affordable than most ME coastal places in summer. The fridge and microwave in the room werre really helpful, and ALL the rooms have them: no request is necessary. The management let me check in early so I could get to a nearby town in time for an afternoon concert. I'm staying there again soon.
