Excellent hotel nice swimming pool

We checked in around 9:30pm. Our room smelled bad (like cigarette and cigar smoke) Didn't want to deal with requesting another room as there was confusion at the desk with getting this room. We let the desk person know about the room smelling bad in the morning.

Very adequate, reasonably clean, decent beds. No smile or welcome upon checkin. Restaurant breakfast not very tasty. Flavorless bacon?

Great location but definitely not the place to stay on the weekend with kids. The rooms were dirty

The property is dated. The room is not made up, unless you ask, but was never told that when i checked in, nor that you needed you request hand wash towels. Just small oddities!

Don't book with Expedia go and book right with the monarch. Sprit Airlines changed our flight to leave a day early. The monarch said they would refund is the day but since we booked through Expedia they would not. Wait times are forever not worth it ..

the bed seemed clean but the TV console, on top of a door that had a broken hinge and wouldn't close correctly, was filthy. It's dark wood and the fingerprints on the front of it were scary. the fiberglass tub half cleaned and I know because I could see the clean part vs dirty part. the hairdryer fell off the wall and left holes where the screw anchors were. not ever again!

The room was nice and bed was comfortable. The hotel was nice my only complaint I have was the lady who checked us in was rude and not helpful we went to the lobby in the morning to see if they had coffee and she just ignored us not very good customer service when she checked us in she made no effort to make eye contact, explain anything, smile, just put my information in the computer and acted as if she was bothered.

It was reasonably close to PDX. Close to family members. Offers shuttle to and from airport.

Pool was dated.

The facility is old, but kept up! El Fuego restaurant was excellent. I was there for a Celebration of Life, and the conference facility and staff were great.

Front desk staff spent more time talking to one another and slow with service. Room was a double queen with one towel and one shampoo. Got attitude for asking for more towels. Limited and poor quality food. Pool and area was outdated and a lot of interior was dingy.

Except no microwave, others are good.

The hotel is nice. Rooms are dated for the price. Not cleaned thoroughly. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was acceptable.

I requested a jacuzzi bath but couldn’t get the plug to work. At 3:30 Am there was a loud ear piercing noice. It sounded like something exploded and lasted 15 minutes. I called the front desk three times and no answer. I went in person to the front desk and couldn’t find anyone. It was so frustrating. I mentioned it to the desk in the morning and they didn’t know a thing.

The highway made it a little noisy at night, but other than that it was nice.

Room was comfortable. Bar and pool were great. Good location. Price was fantastic. Perfect for our baseball tournament.

My go to spot when I want a night away in Portland…easy check in, always parking and it’s free, I always feel safe there. They have a nice outdoor pool and I got late check out at noon so I could sit outside for a couple hours in the morning….it was amazing

Upon arrival we discovered the room smelled like smoke and the staff’s solution was to hand us a bottle of fabreeze. We then learned the air conditioner was broken on a very warm night and were told maintenance was already gone for the day and there was nothing they could do about it in a snippy tone. The manager refused to follow me to our room so she could experience the sweltering heat in the room. Hallway - pleasantly cool. Our room? Miserable. They couldn’t even come up with a fan. We were told if we had a problem, we could leave. Given it was 10pm, we had little choice but to sweat all night. I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. Awful place; bad attitudes.

Very clean fancy hotel.

First of all, I didn't get the room I booked. I booked a Queen suite and they gave me a standard 2 queen room. When I requested the actual room, the staff said by booking from expedia only came in as a queen room. They offered me a queen room with a jetted tub but not the suite I booked with the extra space and microwave. I declined. The room smelled like stale smoke. They also put me on the noisy freeway side rather than the less noisy pool side. The tv/fridge/coffee maker were all plugged into one surge protector. At some point during the night, the surge protector disconnected from the outlet. I was able to get the connection back sporadically enough to make coffee and save my cold items in the fridge. This property looked nice from the pictures, the outside and the lobby but the room and experience overall were terrible.
