The staff was exceptionally well. The room was in good standard. They were renovating some rooms downstairs that caused a few inconveniences but was it was durable.

Hotel was under a remodel with dust and debris everywhere. Bathroom had little to no light and there was a shirtless man sitting in a chair drinking beer outside of elevator when we arrived. My daughter was concerned as I was too. On top of that they still charged me deposit on top of normal rate. We obviously didn’t utilize or do anything to room to cause that issue. Now have to call and straighten out with customer service reps. And finally skip the free breakfast it was awful and instead went to local restaurant for food.

The building was damaged from the hurricane. The staff and everyone was so nice and professional. They were eager to assist with anything I needed.

This hotel is bad. It appears that it’s falling down. The place was not clean at all. The pool area is an eye soar for the entire hotel. The pool is like a blue lagoon. The so call breakfast sucks. For the price one pays, you would think that the breakfast would be decent. During my stay there, I had to go get breakfast somewhere else because the choices were not great.

the window was so dirty that you could not see out. the carpet was missing big spots. The hotel was under construction. no where to park. the shortest king size bed i have ever seen my feet hung off the end with my head hitting the headboard. had to move plastic sheeting to find the check in desk swimming pool was nasty brown color.

This hotel did not have our purchased rooms upon arrival. Previously purchased 3 double rooms, but when we arrived we were told we only have a king room and double room. Since we had to accommodate 7 people, this would not work. The front desk attendant told us we could get a refund. Called back probably at least 20 times to speak with manager about refund, and never got to speak to her despite leaving numerous messages. Instead had an employee to call and say we can only be refunded for 1 room. Apparently that room had checked in automatically and the front desk worker didn’t see. Terrible customer service!!!! Will NEVER use this hotel again!!

My confirmation price was one and a half times the original price. There were additional fees for a safe and also $100 deposit added on at the property. There were stains on the sheets and no shampoo in the shower. And I reserved a king size room and did not get it because they overbooked. If there are other choices, I would look into them first.

Hotel was a hot mess. Very unkept. Dirty. No one cleaned the hallways. Lots of disrepair. Stay away spend your money elsewhere. I felt gross staying there

Everything was good. Except the window in my room. I couldn’t see out. It neeeded to be pressure washed from the outside. I looked when I was outside it was the only one that was nasty (extremely) .

There’s a $100 deposit which they put on hold for at least 2 weeks and that’s ridiculous I thought afew days after I checked out would be reasonable but two weeks(business days only) is not acceptable for me. I need my money and I need it now. I still haven’t received it and I checked out on the 27th of July

The owner of the hotel reserves a parking space for himself with a sign for the “Director” right by the entrance. This space could be for handicapped, veterans, or elderly or temporarily handicapped. The owner is selfish to say the least. Oh and the breakfast is horrible. The worst. Front desk people are great. They should be at a better hotel.

The property was quite and the rooms was ok the only issue was the front desk agent Lilly didn’t want to accommodate for changes rooms cause of the door issues they attempted 4 times.

Room was well-maintained and clean. There were several cockroaches found in the bathroom; however, that is not terribly uncommon in the South. The room contained a large, king-sized bed with adequate pillows and clean sheets. There was a min-fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, desk area and reading chair. The lighting was bright and the room smelled fresh. The bathroom shower was well lit, appropriately stocked with plenty of towels and the shower's water pressure and temperature were great. The complimentary breakfast and on-site laundry were great additional amenities. The workout room could use some updated exercise equipment. Hotel staff/personnel were friendly and cordial!

Our family chose Baymont by Wyndham when we traveled to Augusta, GA for my father's funeral service. One of the reasons was the price and our quick turnaround. One of the must haves was a pool for my Grandkids. Upon check in, we were told that the pool was closed for the day with no other explanation. We were told that the pool would be available the following day. This never happened, so, we were left trying to entertain a 5- and 4-year-old at the hotel. Next there was the breakfast, but what can you really expect for that price. Lastly, there was the check-in. We were asked if we wanted to keep the payment on the same card that the reservations were made on. We said no. We were asked to provide a different card and an ID, which I did. The young lady the way checking us in received my card and licensee. She then appeared to scan my card behind the desk. at the conclusion of the transaction, we were given the room keys, but no card. We had to ask for the card back and was told that she returned it, which she didn't. After looking around for it, she found and returned it. A short time later i received an alert from my bank that the charges when through on the original card to include a security deposit of $100.00. As for the secondary card that I provided, I returned to the front desk later and spoke with a Danna. She told me that she was not able to the locate the second card on file or any transaction. So, monitoring my account very closely for any additional or fraud.

They will put a $100 hold deposit on your card for damages if any are found after you stay. The money is place back on your account until after 3-7 business days. They have a sign at the front desk. Hotels.com doesn’t tell you that before you book.
