It was woderful hotel. And the view in the room was perfect.
People in restaurent were very kind and nice.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

Girls at the front desk were so helpful. Our sauna wasn’t working so they gave us free access to the spa and also comped some drinks for us which was very much appreciated.
My husband especially was uncomfortable with the flat, hard pillows so that really needs addressing.
We also didn’t care for the food in the restaurant especially at those prices. Breakfast was very nice though.
We enjoyed our views from our room and the spaciousness of our room.

This Hotel is Wonderful. We stayed here in May 2022 and came back July 17-23, 2024. Beautiful Hotel with Old World Charm. Fabulous Dinner Restaurant & Breakfast. Lovely grounds. My husband and sister-in-law both went to the SPA and it was GREAT - they each enjoyed a massage. The manager of the hotel Max is a great asset to the hotel. He is very personable and available to assist you. It was a pleasure speaking with him. Claudia at the front desk went above and beyond as well as all of the other staff at the front desk. The woman who cleaned our room was a sweetheart!! We plan to be back in June of 2025 for our anniversary. Thanks so much and hoping to see you soon.

Quite and very safe.
Access was rather inconvenient as the hotel is uphill. More suitable for people who have cars rather than people coming from abroad.

The room that they gave us was below par was not what we paid for did not have a Lakeview did not have a porch and was in desperate need of updating. We went down to the front desk asked for a different room they told us that was impossible. We then spoke to someone else at the front desk, and she gave us a room that she called an upgraded room, which was the room that we actually booked and paid for.
I would write the service at the front desk to be poor and unresponsive until a different person came to help us.
The bar was terrific. The bartender was fantastic and friendly and made spectacular drinks. We enjoyed the evening very much and enjoyed the room that T hey switched us to very much.

This hotel is a gem. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The property is very well maintained with fantastic views from the restaurants and bar over the city and lake. The property grounds with the large pool are very peaceful and relaxing.

Grand old wonderfully restored hotel. Nicely located in a beautiful setting. The views from the lakeview rooms were delightful to wake up to. The breakfast had quite a good range of products. We will definitely be recommending this hotel and staying there in the future. Bravo!

The historical building of the hotel is nice, but would need some serious work and refreshment: also, the cleanliness could be better overall. For the number of guests, the parking slot is clearly insufficient. The breakfast was nice, the view on the lake amazing, but we were expecting a better standard.

It was beautiful and very calming after the chaos of Naples and Rome. Looking out over the village and the lake made my heart soar with happiness. And yes, the local wine was most excellent too.

Great location. Wonderful checkin - Quick & easy with friendly staff. Room was great with views over Varese. The hotel is a Little dated, but it still has old school charms about it.
