I don't like the fact that pet owners pay $35 extra per night and get crappy rooms overlooking the parking lot! It's like we're second class citizens for owning pets!

All the staff was friendly & wonderful. We have stayed here once our twice a year for over 30 years. Very dissapointed in the bathroom, room 414. Toilet was loose in the floor, seat was stained w blue cleaner & chipped. Tub was all scratched up & old, but the shower worked well. The bathroom barn door was covered in mold & mildew from top to bottom on both sides. We purchased lysol wipes & my husband cleaned it all because i have asthma. The desk chair was old & ripped/worn, did not use. Beds were fine & rest of room clean. Breakfast was nice, staff was very kind. Again, the front staff was wonderful, housekeeping very friendly, but the maintenance of our room was bad. Many family vacations & great memories here, but this stay isn't one of them.

Tired run down room appeared to have been skipped for cleaning. Location good check in good.

I like the convenience of the elevator, carts for luggage, the pool and hot tub are primarily why I stay here with my grandson. Much improved pool and hot tub from previous stays. However, pool is never warm enough and hot tub working is unpredictable. I stay here often. Would love to see a cleaner pool and hot tub.

The location is perfect and the outside access areas to the beach are great. The pool is nice and the outdoor deck area/restaurants looking over the ocean were nice. The rooms could’ve been much cleaner. There was trash all under the beds, and the bathroom was gross. Our bath tub had hair clogging the drain so bad it would barely drain, leaving you to stand in your and your family’s dirty water while showering. A little bit of extra effort to clean up and fix the bathrooms would make this place a gem.

Asked for an upgraded room if available. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

Great hotel with bar and indoor pool. Easy walk down ramp to the ocean. Had to check out a day early because I got ill but no problems. They credited me back for the day I didn’t stay. They also called me and told me my room was ready early. Great people. Fourth time staying there.

Unresponsive to issue regarding broken tv for two nights in row. Staff said they would send someone up and never showed after calling back twice. No show and so both nights had no tv. Bathroom fan sounded like Jet Landing and fan blades scraping.

Great place! Truly convenient!

After reading a lot of reviews we decided to give this place a chance (we’ve stayed all over the area, glad we did! The staff was beyond friendly, literally everyone you saw and there was a lot around all the time cleaning! The lounge had some live music and everyone there was friendly! Room was clean, even though we didn’t request daily cleaning they made sure I got clean towels which was appreciated! The decks on the back are great for lounging around if that’s what you choose to do! Didn’t use the pool area but did walk through and it looked clean as well! Very pleased with our stay! My only criticism would be the bathrooms are kind of hard to access from the beach, you can’t use the doors near them apparently, it’s kind of a maze to get there but not a deal breaker at all! Plus side it’s across the street from Swellsa Brewing, Millers, Mama Kwan’s is close by, it’s a great location!

The floors in the hotel room were dirty and our socks showed it. The hotel restaurant was really good as well as the service. There was the strong smell of pot throughout the floor we were on and it wafted into the room in the middle of the night even though it was non smoking. It was also strong out on the balcony. It was a decent nights rest and I’m glad we only stayed one night waiting for our rental house to open up.

Our stay was not bad but there was some things I felt were misleading. You have to pay for breakfast which was not very good or worth the price. The restaurant on site is open to anyone outside of hotel which meant those customers could actually walk through hotel if they wanted but it is not open on Sunday or Monday even when a holiday weekend. There is no outside pool if you want to sit by pool in lounge chair in sun, only an indoor pool. There was also not anyone at the station for chair/umbrella set up any of the three days we were there. The balcony is tiny, only room for two chairs and third floor has view of dunes and ocean (no beach). I asked for ocean view and I got it but looking over dunes. You might could see beach area if on 4th or 5th level but not sure. Also, there was a ledge you had to step over to get out onto balcony that seemed to pose a risk for falls. Positives: it was very short walk to beach on a boardwalk, cold a/c in room, plenty of towels and staff very friendly.

Everything was fine with the exception of the mattresses. They are old, squeaky and uncomfortable.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! Tiki bar staff is accommodating and provided great service. We loved the ocean front view and close access to beach. Provides a nice sitting area deck to view ocean and beach and enjoy morning coffee. Room was clean but needs updated, most specifically the bathroom area. Again it was clean. Room had a microwave and fridge. We enjoyed our stay, really no regrets fair amount of perks for the value.

Good hotel.

Carpets are black and threadbare. Beds were made but the rest of the room was not cleaned and towels and coffee not replenished.

Great hotel right on the beach. It was nice to have a balcony directly facing the sea. A direct access to the beach was very handy and a small indoor pool to dip in afterwards was a bonus. Loads of parking spots out front too. The onsite restaurant was quite good, with an interesting choice of hawaiian twist dishes! Lots of nearby dining options with shopping a short car ride away

Definitely nice quiet get a way in residential area for couples

I liked how it was soooo close to the beach. Also, it was easy to go from the beach to the swimming pool because there is an outdoor shower area before you get in the pool. The bathrooms and rooms have been updated from the last time I was here and that was a welcome change. Definitely recommend.

It's our third year and always enjoy it. It's clean modern pet friendly floor big pool. Good food, great 10 dollar breakfast buffet. Nice beach overall a great place for the rates weve paid over the years. We use it as an add on of 3 days to our beach house rental down in Cape hatteras

Beach access was good

Front desks staff were very nice and approachable. When we got to our room it looked clean but after just walking around for a few minutes with only socks on our white socks were brown. Last full day our room was never cleaned and we only noticed when we arrived late at night when we returned. Under the beds when we arrive there was candy that previous guest had dropped and they stayed there until we left which showed us that the floor was not cleaned very well at all. Location was very nice right on beach and we had ocean view. But you can see that repairs should and need to be made in balconies… I would also recommend management to make audits on room FLOORs cleanliness as that was my biggest concern. We had to wear slippers the entire time we were in the room. Bed sheets, bathroom ( shower, sink and toilet) were cleaned when. We arrived but not during our visit. Bedsheets where never changed with a 6 night stay but we did get clean towels other then the last night.

Location is the ONLY positive of this property. House keeping wasn't done properly daily in room of a stay for one week. Had to ask and still wasn't done daily for towels, toilet paper, and for room to be swept every day as an OCEANFRONT hotel room with all the beach sand. Sheets were only finally changed the night before we left after asking multiple times. Also wasn't done any day before 3-4pm. Both the bathroom door and patio door were difficult to open and close, toilet paper holder was broken and laid on the shelf all week without getting fixed. The water pressure barely made it out of the shower head. Toilet barely flushed upon arrival. For the price of the room, breakfast is NOT included (as was advertised at time of booking) and is basically the exact same as other hotels include free with stay. It is also not offered on Monday morning. There is no information in room providing other amenities in area as per other hotels have. Overall, not worth the price at all outside of solely the location to the beach/ocean.

The room was beautiful, the veiw was amazing, the tiki bar was wonderful as well friendly service, good food we had an awesome time

Rooms were run down. Only good thing is it is on the beach.
