The front desk staff were great! The hotel is old, dated, smelled stale and reeked of marijuana. We chose this place because we needed a few hours to sleep. Our tub did not drain properly and I showered in ankle deep water.

Very OLD and DATED facility, rusted water valves..., shower and faucets not properly working, shower curtain hanged loose almost falling apart, mix-n-match of "salvation army" furniture that is NOT comfortable, beat up;
Wow; this is a very cheap low level below entry bar...

There is a bad smell inside the restaurant on, think carpets inside and out may have had mold or water damage that caused smell, very strong, had to open door to offset odor. The entry door very heavy wood hard to open, got a splinter in my finger when trying to push open. One towel had a stain on it.

The room smelled worse than malodorous, sweaty, jock itch infested locker room. We did not bother ask for a room change because it was very late and we just decided to bite the bullet. We are appalled that such a room would be rented to anyone. My guess is that the smell is eminating from carpeting that needs to be replaced immediately.

The carpet was filthy in the room as well as the hallways. I found hairs on the sheets which were thread bare and pilled. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. The staff was invisible.

Old(er) hotel but always clean. The other laquinta (1/2 mile south on university) is old(er) as well. It’s a little closer to restaurants, et al if you’d like to walk. This one is larger, 5 floors vs 3, and rooms are larger w balconies…

It’s an old(er) property. It’s always clean. There are a number of “La Quinta’s “ in south Florida you would want to avoid. This is perfectly fine. Older but clean. Staff is often hard to FIND at front desk!?!?

The hotel had a strange smell, especially corridors and the room.

I was in room 402 for 2 days and there were roaches in the drawers and closet. I stayed there because it was very close to the location. I kept everything in my zippered luggage, but it took me a half hour prior to checking out to pack and ensure I was not taking any crawly insects on my person or my other personal items. I am a travel advisor and would not make any accommodations to my clients at this hotel.

My wife and I stayed in room 303.The property did not have a working elevator nor hot water to take a shower. We will never recommend La Quinta to friends and family. Maintenence was poor on this facility.

The toilet was backed up and I reported it to the front desk and maintenance guy came up and at the moment my husband was changing in there and I asked if could come back in a few minutes and husband could not be fast about it cause he had just had surgery so it was terrible. And the food was not the best not even close they had the same thing every day and coffee was watered down. It was not my best experience at La Quinta. But it does not scare me away from La Quinta. But I do think this location can do much better.

I rarely go down for complimentary breakfast, I happened to on 2nd day, 45 minutes prior to end time. There was nothing in refrigerator, normally yogurt ? There was no sausage and
Only 2 eggs? Only grape jelly packets? I wasn’t the last one there, people were arriving as I left..
I think this is unusual. Only other issue I’ve had is staff is difficult to find at front desk from time to time

In a very undesirable area. A lot of vacant buildings, construction and terrible parking. I waited 15 minutes in a line for the front desk person to come back after not in the hotel. The ballroom had a graduation party and I am handicapped had to walk in dark from another parking lot.

The only good thing about this place was its location. I went on a family emergency trip. Booked 2 rooms 4 adults
The front staff was friendly, carpet on the hallway floors were disgusting. One of our beds had a stain on the sheets. Bathrooms were dirty. When we asked to change rooms they accommodated us. Only
To realize the next day that the person at the front desk messed up our reservation and checked us out a night early. They collected my belongings without a phone call or anything. And then messed up

Upon chexk in the girl working last friday was amazing the girl on sat sun not so much on the weekend my room wasnt cleaned nor towels replaced had to go everyday and get towels and then they were stingy with them even though i gave them all the dirty ones. Overall it was a good fit for the price
