We tried this hotel…the rating was very good. Don’t believe it! The room was filthy, the guy checking us in was not at all friendly. The pillow case had stains on it, the carpet needed vacuuming and the room smelled awful. No elevators. Only stay here if you like to hear trains running all night and doors slamming. This place needs condemned.

When I checked in the hotel said that my card had been declined and I had not paid for the room. However, I had paid for the room through Hotels.com. I have a receipt from them and I show the deduction from my checking account. I did not have enough money to pay for the room again, so I ended up having to drive home late at night because I had nowhere to stay. I tried to get a hold of someone at Hotels.com and was on hold for more than an hour before I gave up. Hotels.com owes me a refund and in my opinion, a free night somewhere at some point in the future. If they do not make this right, I will never book through them again. Actually, even if they do try to make it right, I won’t book through them again because I can’t put myself in this type of situation again I no longer trust , their company. And the fact that I couldn’t get a hold of anyone when I really needed to is some thing I can’t overlook. I have used Hotels.com many times and never had a problem. I don’t know what went wrong but something did and I was forced to drive home late at night. The hotel said there was nothing they could do and that I would have to speak to someone at Hotels.com. I feel like the hotel could have tried to help figure the situation out.

Room was spacious and updated. Could have used a better cleaning but was bug free at least! The floor was vinyl plank and needs a good mopping.You can tell they are updating at least paint. Main areas appeared newly painted and clean. There is only a small pool ranging from 3ft to 4ft 6in. The pool also could handle a good vacuuming but the kids didn’t mind. It worked for our quick trip for a funeral since we didn’t spend much time at the hotel anyways.

Hotel needs to be updated. Leaking windows, wet carpet, lumpy bed, stained couch, bathtub and carpet. Staff did move us to a drier room upon request.

We stayed at this property one night as a rest stop along a long road trip. With that in mind, it is on the edge of town in an industrial area, but there are lots of restaurants close by. The hotel and room was clean, the staff was helpful, and breakfast was standard continental, with a waffle maker and biscuits & gravy for hot choices.
A head's up for those who have mobility issues -- we were on the second floor and their either isn't an elevator or it is broken. The man at the front desk offered to carry our luggage upstairs (we could carry our own). I could see this as a problem for some with knee problems and so on. if so, ask for a first-floor room when booking.
Overall, I would stay there again.

My room was clean and comfortable. The AC was already running so I didn't have to wait for my room to cool down once I entered the room. It was easy to locate the hotel after I'd exited the interstate. The TV was easy to operate. The microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot worked perfectly. I would gladly stay there again.

We did have to request a sheet change for stains. Otherwise, it's a place to sleep. There's train tracks not to far so you hear train whistles. Seems to be under remodel.

There had been an issue with ants prior to our stay and exterminators had been there to spray. Unfortunately they missed some and we found them. Manager assured us the exterminator company would return to fix it. We were compensated for the issue. Even with the ant problem we enjoyed the stay.

Very disappointed in the condition if this hotel. I have stayed many time over the last 14 years at this property, this was the most recent in 5 years and since they did the ourside remodel. The room I stayed for this trip needs some attention-clothez rack ready to fall off the wall, kleenex disappearing falls off every time you get a kleenex, paint peeling all over the room, where there had been new paint, itwas poorly done as the old paint was not removed.
Friendly staff but the room I stayed made me want complete my visit and leave right away!! I didnt even try the continental breakfast.

Paper thin walls so you can hear the next room yelling and fighting. Asked for a wakeup call and never got because the phone was dead. Next to train tracks and train came through every 2 hours. Kids running and yelling in the hall 11:00 at night.

First off the staff was beyond amazing and very accommodating! We were helped by 3 different front staff and they were all truly awesome! The guy in the morning should be used as a measuring stick for training how front staff should be as he was a 10/10.
The hotel is getting some facelift. It was clean and bed was comfortable and very clean. I will stay there again next time.

The ac/heat unit in room 108 needs to be replaced. When it’s on, the fan squeals. We didn’t even use it. Because it didn’t even work.

We had been driving most of the day & just needed a place to rest for the evening. We saw this property listed & decided to give it a try as we were approaching Sioux City. The room was on the small side, but liked that we had a private entrance directly into our room, much like the old motels. The property was a bit old, but was relatively clean. Noise was a problem as I'm pretty sure a herd of water buffalos were booked in the rooms directly above & adjacent to ours. Throw in the trains who less than a block from the property decided they needed to blow their horns incessantly through the night, and the inconsiderate individuals who thought it a great idea to start up their monster trucks & rev the snot out of them in the early morning hours...Not a restful night's sleep, which is what we were looking for.

Last year was my first time there. On the way out, was great experience. On the trip back it was bad. Bad customer service, opposite of my first stay.
This year i thought i would try it again. On the way out it was good, but the room had broken toilet seat and sink. Tried to report it when discovered, but nobody was at the desk. I tried couple more times but no show.
On the way back, room was much nicer, cleaner and really nice. This could be really good place, but inconsistent.

Staff was amazing let us use the pool for a little bit even though it had just closed because we got there late after a long day of riding! Room smelled a little funny and the carpet could use a cleaning but everything was clean.
