I was given a twin room when I asked for a double, but after a call down to the reception a cleaner came up and converted the beds, which I’ve not seen before but it was fine. The rooms are quite big, so much so it feels quite bare. There’s a table and chair but would have liked a desk. There was an armchair which was half broken but I didn’t mind. Bathrooms are nice. Tv was good, just connected my YouTube up and I was grand. The window opened up fully which made me feel funny as I was on the 6th floor. The hallways had this perfume sprayed in which smelt very strange but none went in the room. The restaurant was excellent, the food was great, be aware it’s also very expensive, especially compared to the rest of the city. Staff were generally excellent too. The gym was more than acceptable. Breakfast was pretty good as well.

We chose this hotel for a nearby clinic so the location was ideal. The hotel was lovely, room was perfect and breakfast was excellent but didn't like the location.

Very old looking room. Unconfortable bed. Renovation needed. I was disapointed a lot. No parking space available in the hotel

It doesn't look good from the outside, but inside it's a super hotel. Very varied and tasty breakfast!

Rooms and facilities were of a really good standard. Easy transport links into Brno centre.

We stayed overnight for one night for a visit to Brno it was nice

Nice place clean only issue we had was being awakened @ 0130 to evacuate the building; once in the lobby ppl were confuse & frightened & staff not helpful, actually the guy @ the desk asked if everything was alright! Someone yelled out “I don’t know you tell us!’ Finally we were told we could go back to our rooms no explanation no apologies no recompense for inconvenience

Hotel is faded, there are craks in walls and around windows in hotel room. No minibar in the room. In general, hotel rooms are outdate, have been furbished dozens years ago and there have been probably no change and investment since.

The hotel is very modern and tasteful. The staff in thebar-restaurant couldnt havr been more helpful. Prices are quite reasonable. I hope to return soon. Top marks.

Orea Hotel Voronez has to be the worst travel experience I’ve endured. Booked the room on Hotels.com and showed 4 available rooms. The person checking me in, Tomas, was angry I’d used Hotels.com as they were booked. I was advised I’d have a room with no air conditioning. Ok. Can live with that. But1st floor room overlooked the main entry. So opening the window had a wonderful aroma of cigarette and diesel exhaust from the tour buses. The room was sparse. Basic. No kettle. No coffee maker. Nothing. Fortunately it did have towels. All night you could hear water flushing from the above rooms. It was quite calming to hear the whoosh of water being launched. Then the late evening tour bus arrival. So special. The sound of people stomping in the room above. It was also a handicap room, which I didn’t need. Breakfast was mediocre. Eggs over cooked. The two areas are unprepared to handle the flow of people from the tours. Very little for breakfast as compared to their other resort property I’ve stayed at. Couple all this with the hostility and anger displayed by Tomas during checking in, I’d advise staying elsewhere. This stay was truly disappointing. Follow up-Did speak with the manager, very professional and apologized for what occurred. Corporate responded with apologies as well.

There was a serious initial problem with the internet quality, but after proper consultation with the management I was offered the possibility to go to another room and the issue was settled effectively

On arrival our reservation could not be located. Offered us a drink whilst they tried to locate. Finally sorted out.

Hotel staff were very helpful. I made late reservation so there was a bit of confusion but Ivan was most helpful and got everything sorted out. I was there over the New Years holiday so there were many groups in the hotel. Dining in the dining room was not provided for New Years eve. This could have been explained prior to finding out at the time. Staff was helpful, but system seem a bit lax. Good location, and is walkable to downtown and tourist destinations. Taxis are reasonable and fair--unlike some other cities. Brno is a hidden treasure and should be explored. I would stay here again, but would ask questions at check in.

The Hotel surprised me after I went in. In other words, dont judge it by its facade! Rooms are large (mine was large) and clean, and everything was there. If and when in Brno again, Ill try to get this Hotel again. It is also located near the local brewery, which is a good place to enjoy local beer. Really nice!

The air condition is not working well. Even with a big fan they provide us was 28 Celsius degrees from 12 am when I checked in to 8am when i checket out. It was very very hot. Cant sleep the whole night. I wish i can get back my money!

It’s a shame the hotel invested a lot in a nice and modern lobby but left it’s rooms like something out of the 80’s. There is little to no sound dampening so if you’re trying to sleep and some is walking down the hall, you hear everything. The decor is beyond old. The restaurant is awful, was served raw meat, then the second piece had some plastic in it. Breakfast is ok. Overall a disappointing experience.
