The rooms are dark, TV didn't work, the tub faucet was faulty and the matress was hard. The tub was very slipery. No mat or
anything to prevent from slipping. Breakfast was less then desirable. We've stayed here before but its gone downhill a bit.

Room was not clean. Asked for room to be clean on second day and it was not. Tv didn’t work. Pixelating badly. Outlets didn’t work. Pancake machine broken. Hot water heater broken. When power went out, I mentioned that emergency lights in stairwell were not working and front desk didn’t understand. They suggested I use the stairs at the opposite end.

Deadbolt on door was falling off. I left something in my room and was told it could be sent to me if found. The item was found but it stopped there. I was told it couldn’t be sent by the manager and I could pick it up.. which was not an option as I was traveling and not returning to the area. I’m a consistent traveler and this hotel has lost my business. I will be sure to tell others of my experience. This is unacceptable practice or excuse.

The pool was chilly. The room was nice, but only had a view of the hotel next door. Had a door for the adjoining room, but wasn’t sure if it locked… put the security tab to closed, but feel like someone had tried to open the door. A/C worked great…actually had to turn up the temp some because it kept the room cold. Breakfast was good with good choices.

Carpet filthy, floors in need of a bleachi g. Bathroom tub stained and ringed,mold and vent filthy. No cover on overhead bathroom light, dark fingerprints all over a/c unit.

We reserved and paid for a king room. Upon check in we were told there were none available and because we booked thru a 3rd party other reservations took priority. This is unacceptable and has never happened at other hotels…..

Staff was excellent and professional, and the rooms looked recently refreshed. The charging USB port outlets didn’t work, but I had an adapter. Our first room had had a pet in it, so we asked for a non-pet room and were switched promptly.
One of our bed coverings in room 2 was dirty, so I would suggest to the management/housekeeping they take a closer look. The coverings are white and easy to see if they should be changed out for the next guest.
The outdoor pool was lovely for the 99 degree day we were there, and my children enjoyed it. Breakfast was common for hotels. The entire staff was extremely friendly. The hotel was convenient for our 1-night stay near Front Royal.

The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast area looked clean also. I just had a quick overnight but I would definitely stay there again.

Didn’t like that ice machine was broken on 3rd floor, 2nd floor ice machine didn’t exist. Only working ice machine was on 1st floor.Telephone was not working until we changed wiring around. Only one coffee cup (should be at least 2) was in room. Housekeeping needs to pay more attention to detail.

Nicely updated property. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Quiet hotel even though right near I-81. Friendly front desk staff at check in and check out!

Comfortable and affordable stay - quiet, fast check in, friendly staff, decent breakfast, comfortable room and bed. Easy parking and conveniently right off the interstate. The bathrooms and tile floors could really use a deep cleaning though, and the doors were splintering and looking kind of beat up. Renovations seem a little older than other Holiday Inn Expresses, but overall a good stay with no problems

It's a nice stay. Clean, no noise and a good breakfast with a good rate. My only comment is that the room as dark. The big light in the corner didn't work.

Some items were a little dingy (the vent in the bathroom in the room I was staying in), but breakfast was hot and good and staff were friendly. Walkable to fast food and across the street from a Dunkin and a Starbucks very close as well.

This hotel is a real gem . They have really upped their game from the last time I was there. They have renovated and done a really nice job. The beds were so comfortable and coming off a long drive trip that was like heaven to fall into them. Bathrooms are really nice lots of counter space and water pressure was good. I only wish that hotels would put in hand held showers . The continential breakfast was amazing. We left with our bellies full and made it to our destination without having to stop. keep up the good work.

We had a warm welcome from the woman at the front desk and were checked into our room in just a few minutes. The room was nice & clean. The only thing missing was hooks and/or towel bars in the bathroom. There's no place to put clothes, a robe or the towel you want to use after a shower. Otherwise everything was very good. We'd definitely stay there again.

Staff refused to allow early check in even through the entire parking lot was empty.
The rooms had a musty damp smell. We had 3 rooms and they all smelled like that.
