They were super helpful and allowed us to check in early. We appreciated that.
However, all of the cockroaches started to come out as it started to get dark. When we told the front desk, they had us go for the front desk to get roach spray. Since our kids were already asleep, we decided to spray and hope for the best. When we woke up, there were several huge cockroaches that had died in the night. Our son was also bitten by something while sleeping and ended up with a big rash.
We ended up leaving early and chose to forego our 2nd night there. Will choose a different hotel next time.

Rooms are under renovation and mine was obviously recently complete. Very clean. Staff were polite and efficient.

This is hidden gem my girlfriend and I loved it, quiet, clean and good service. Will be back again for another stay.

We were allowed a very early check-in, very much appreciated. I booked the suite, very different from the pictures on hotels com, AC unit leaked over floor, light in sitting room did not work and room was very noisy. Probably on top of hotel laundry room. But the stay was for hospital recvery

Holiday Inn Expeess Fairhope was excellent, the staff was helpful, the rooms and hotel were clean, pooo area, breakfast was awesome.

The location was very close to downtown. The check in clerk was very helpful in answering our questions about the town. He also gave us various restaurants and other things to do while we were in town.

There was a lot of shipping containers blocking parking which was annoying but unavoidable I suppose

Staff were friendly, the bathroom tub was nice and big. I recommend better pillows for the bed. Breakfast was ok, it could better. Pre package muffins, and bagels for freshness.

The staff was great! The room was clean! My only complaint was one morning at like 7:30 housekeeping was knocking on the door and then opened the door even tho we had the sign out front. The next morning early the fire alarm was going off. 😭 so if you plan to sleep in… good luck. Lol

After driving on the road for many hours, I arrived at the hotel around 1:20 pm. Asked if possible to check in and the lady said no problem, but it will be another $25 fee for early check in since it was not yet 2 pm. I was too tired to argue with her and wait around. If the room was ready (which it was) then why penalize a customer??

Housekeeping was the only thing lacking for our stay. We didn’t get room service the second night. And both nights we had to share towels bc there was never enough and it was going to be a while before they were able to bring us some.

The only thing I did not like is I could hear every word the people in the room beside us were saying, and could hear their toilet flush. Everything else was exceptional, and we enjoyed our stay.

Locked out of my room twice, room not cleaned one day, floor felt gritty and dirty, cleaning rag left on my counter by the microwave, breakfast was questionable if it was real and juice watered down. Had a spill in my room and when called the front desk for help was told I can walk down to front desk (we were in the farthest room on the property) get towels and clean it myself seems it is in my room. Then when checking out was told I had another night which I did not book. Glad I checked on that or would have been charged. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express and this is thw worst. Will not recommend or stay there again.

Very nice, comfortable, clean hotel. Free breakfast offered is a step above what you usually find. Front desk staff very welcoming.

The room was clean and comfortable. Cleaning lady came to clean in late afternoon while we we were in room, therefore it did not get cleaned during our stay. She did give us towels though. Staff was friendly.

To be honest Holiday Inn hotels aren’t the best. I’ve avoided them for years. But not a lot of choices in this area. I took a risk due to the high rating and was glad. It was clean, staff was great and I felt safe. Would stay here again.
