We had a wonderful stay a few weeks ago. The staff was helpful and friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. Was a very quiet stay. The room was unbelievably clean. Will definitely be staying here again.

We were going to be in the Gainesville area later on Saturday and didn't want to drive several hours to get home. We had been familiar with the are about 20 years ago and opted to just stay overnight to see how it had changed, etc. I did some research and opted to stay here, partly as I already knew the location. We arrived around 6:30 p.m. Check-in was easy. They have self-parking around most of the building and do not charge you for it. The room was fairly spacious. The entry hall was a bit of a choke-point versus the entrance to the bathroom, but it wasn't a real problem. The shower stall was also a bit narrow, but manageable. The room was dark at night and quiet. Despite the hotel's location on a main road in town, I wasn't really aware of traffic noise. The location is about 3 - 4 blocks from Gainesville's square. There are several restaurants within 1 block. If the weather is nice, the whole area is very walkable. Entry to the hotel is primarily off Jesse Jewel Pkwy, which is busy. There is basically a U-turn into the front entrance. However, there is a small spur road that also connects to the parking lot and allows easy access to the square. The layout is a bit odd, but once you see it, it's easy. Breakfast the next morning was pretty good - basically back to pre-pandemic standards. They had ham, scrambled eggs, various bread + toaster, a waffle machine, cereal, yogurt, etc. If I were staying in Gainesville again, I'd consider staying here.

It was convenient to the place where we were attending a concert. Had an ADA room on first floor. Clean and convenient. The electrical shade control did not work, and it looked like others had already been frustrated with it. Asked the desk person to file a maintenance request for repair.

The staff at the hotel were amazing. The breakfast was nice and was kept stocked. The area was somewhat isolated when we checked in so an actual restaurant on premises would have been excellent.

Right in the middle of Gainesville so it's easy to get anywhere. There are a few restaurants in walking distance. Busy road though.

Our room was in need of maintenance in a few ways. The light continuously flickered. The bed squeaked very loud at the slightest movement. Very expensive for an average to below hotel stay.

Second time staying at this location and for me it’s enough. Traveling alone for a couple of days was inexpensive and plenty of room. Bed was comfortable the way I like. Very clean. The staff is so nice and helpful. I always sleep in so it’s perfect because it’s a ihop next door walking distance. I will stay at this location again, real soon

First impression was not the greatest with the pool next to the parking lot and at the front street side... but the wonderfully helpful and friendly staff, as well as the location (location, location!) of this hotel made it a wonderful choice and stay. If you are going to the Boot Barn Hall or Main Street Gainesville, GA - they are a very short/easy walk... and you'll also find a wonderful bar/restaurant between - right next door. We did not make it down for the included breakfast - but upon arriving late, were accommodated with yogurt and fruit and smiles and pleasantries - making us feel appreciated and not late at all! We were also easily able to request a late check out.

1-night stay and I’m glad it was just one night. This hotel offered shelter and ability to clean up. It was dark and damp and musty. The EV chargers were 3/5 stars, with the J1772 charging my car about 50% in 8 hours. Boooo. The carpet in my room was a quick reminder to use my sandals, it felt wrong under my feet. I’ll probably find a super charger elsewhere and a better hotel next time.

They did not have the room that I booked, king with sofabed. They told me my choices were (@10pm) return my money and go find another hotel or take a a double queen. I purposely called @6:30pm to make sure the room was correct because we were coming in late. They said yes. Got here and got a king with a chair. Worst experience. We were in town for a hospital surgery. Had to take the queens, and we are large ppl and I know I can't sleep ona queen and we were with my grandson.

It was what I expect from Hampton Inn.

The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful when checking in. The room was very clean and had everything we needed.

Room was updated and clean, common areas were visibly dirty. Front desk had two people one normally on their phone which I felt could help keep common area clean. Breakfast was just OK

Hotel was very clean and smelled wonderful! Breakfast was good but lacked variety. Almost same item 2 days in a row. Only had 1 issue. I have limited mobility. I checked in and there were no more carts and the elavator was quite a ways down the hall. I asked Steven if he could look on screen or possibly locate a cart for me. He did not investigate or tell me that I could have parked around the other side of the building which was directly adjacent of the elevator. Nor did he seem to care. I had to find out on my own.

This property was good, with the exception of the large roach that was living in my bathroom.
