This is a classic "bed and bathroom" hotel experience. Did it serve functionally? Yes. Was there much else to it? No. Front desk service checking in was competent but not friendly. Neighborhood was loud and somewhat sketchy.

My husband and I thought the bathroom could be improved with taller toilets and hand holds.

Very clean and quiet slept really good

No staff available. Upon arrival to our room the door was propped open with a filthy rag. Three nights, no maid service.

The concierge is very friendly, helpful and caring… they are more than happy to help out when needed

It is a clean low cost motel, in an area of very high facilities, however, there's a lot of construction near by, and the streets leading into this property, are confusing, and challenge ones navigational prowess.

The place is largely in decent shape and was always tidy. The continental breakfast was good enough and the staff were great. The hotel room floor was an issue. Simply put, don't walk around in white stocking feet, it's surprisingly dirty. The channel selection for the TV was pretty unimpressive

The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway (and a Chick-fil-A) but surprisingly quiet. The building is well taken care of and we would stay here again.

It was fine. Room just had an odd smell to it. I wish there would have been a couple rooms available where no pets had been in, but not the case.

No elevator.

The room was very small. The shower needed repairs. The place felt dirty. We were there for three days and they refused to clean our room. We could not wait to leave.

It was close to the music venue we attended.

Our room had an odor and also the toilet ran continuously unless you opened the back and fiddled with the chain.

This room met our needs. Breakfast was difficult for staff to keep up with. Gave up and went elsewhere

No elevator. Hot water in shower suddenly becoming cold, and alternating 2-3 times in a 5 minute shower. Internet was so slow that it could not be used. Older deteriorated space. I know inflation has gotten bad, but $215 tax for this quality is not right.

Clean, nice facility. Pool had a little algae built up where a few tiles fell off, otherwise good.

We had a great stay and swim.

The property looked like it needed general maintenance. The beds were really comfortable. So if it’s sleep you want, and to be next to Chick Fil La, it’s perfect!

Had an ant investation in the bathroom. Took four days for someone to do something about it. I was leaving that day. They did a refund percentage of each day. But Expedia won't send that to me for 7-10 days. I am cancelling my app account with Expedia.

Curtains were torn, lots of noise, toilet seat was broken. I will never stay there again

The upkeep is not there. Same with the cleanliness as we constantly had ants in our room. The outdoor pool was great. The dryer didn’t dry the clothes either.

No offense, but it's a Comfort Inn. We know we're not going to be staying at the edgewater. So it was the average, decent room for a decent price kind of stay. The staff though. Not impressive. No one at the front counter. When they are at the front office, they hide in the backroom and don't watch for anyone, listen for anyone, and are just really not engaging with anyone. When I finally got someone to show up at the front desk when I was trying to check in, the girl found my reservation, got the paperwork almost done, and suddenly said to me "I have to go, I'll be back in a little while." Odd, but okay. I ended up walking off after 15 minutes as she had not returned and I was completely in the dark as to what was happening. I walked around, finally sat down in the lobby, and after a good half hour, the lady finally walked on into the lobby. With another woman who, as best as I could tell, she was trying to sell her car to. 15 seconds after that she had me checked in and I was on the way to our room. We all have lives, I get it, but to wait in the lobby for an unknown amount of time with no information for a half an hour because the check in lady was too busy taking care of her own personal business? I'm a pretty easy going guy but she could've just as easily spent another 15 seconds checking me into my room and then went about her business.

everything's fine

This was a last minute booking and was adequate for our one-night stay. The only cause for complaint was the telephone upselling for the rewards, the agent wouldn’t take our polite no for an answer.

Bit gross

Wasn’t told there is no elevator, I have a physical disability. Didnt get double queen room that I booked way ahead of time and was told the hotel is full. Met another hotel guest who experienced same thing and had to go down stairs with canes, she was petrified! Room was very dirty, hole in the wall, tv was on its last legs, plugged sink, leather chair had chunks missing, a/c very poor. Do NOT stay here!

You get what you pay for. It is a very old hotel with no recent updates. They are low on staff so there is no early check in and they only clean your room every second day. Breakfast is the traditional continental style and would be great if it was well stocked but there are long wait times in between refilling. Pool is nice. Parking is free. There is no elevator so if you are ADA you need to stay on the second floor. Parking is free and it’s close to many things. Easy to find and easy to get to and from. It’s a 2 star at best but the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, the pool and hot tub were great and breakfast was free. What more could you ask for. Worth the price. This was my second time going. I was there about 12 years ago. Nothing has changed. I’d go again.
