Location was good due to easy access to public transport, hotel was clean, staff was very unfriendly except for the hostess of the breakfast room

We especially liked the musical theme the hotel had and it was all around very fashion-y and cozy. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. Brilliant with my Assistenzhund and marvellously comfy pilllows.

Very authentic design revolving around music! The rooms are frugal, but decorated cutely and the soft and clean carpeted floor looks like grass you want to walk on barefoot. The area around is quiet and the parking spot beside the hotel is affordable and reliable (parking is not included in room rate, clarify with the Front Office for the prices). Check-in begins at 15:00, so bear in mind that to check in earlier than that will come at extra cost. You can commute to the city centre by tram, an e-scooter (if you find any round) or by bike, it is around 20 minutes' ride. The breakfast is worth it and, apart from broad selection of tea flavours and food, you will enjoy an area reminiscent of synthesizers, vinyl, stave and nostalgic music. Another plus is the complete cashless payment method within the hotel, including tipping, so forget about the "cash is king" rule for a while, getting off you the pressure of looking for ATMs for cash withdrawal and going fully plastic (in money).

Very beautiful facilities, cozy room, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. There is a tram stop close by and you can easily reach the city center by public transportation.

We stayed here to rest during a road trip for a night. Decor is a bit cheesy but the gym and sauna are top notch for the price. Didn't try the breakfast so can't say. Parking was easy enough in either the back or the underground garage. Could have used better pillows and lighting in the room as well.

Def. not 4 stars but okay location right by tram. Breakfast is overpriced. Pool isnt open in season/summer month. Good for business conferences etc. but not a tourist/visitor hotel. Felt very big & anonymous in there.

Visiting Dresden for 1 week, and I wanted somewhere with a quiet location, close to the city. This was perfect for me. Its nothing fancy, but the staff are friendly and the place is clean. I will stay here again. :)

Good quality hotel.Very clean, comfortable rooms with good quality linen.If you want breakfast make sure youre there well before 10am as the do stsrt clearing away on the hour.Bar also not open til evening.

It was nice but they nickle and dime you for everything. (Parking, breakfast, extra wifi) It does have air conditioning though - a definite plus!!

Hotet onthe whole very good. Convenient location, friendly English speaking staff. The room and ensuite were spacious and clean. Our only complaint was were arrived in a heatwave and spent 3 very uncomfortable nights trying to sleep. The hotel requires airconditioning or at least overhead fans inthe rooms.

Well placed just outside the centre of the city and convenient for the tram stop.Staff efficient and helpful but,as other reviewers have noted, there were problems with the air-conditioning.In the first room the unit did not work at all and when we were allocated a different room the unit there only pushed out warm air.In the summer this would be a serious issue in this hotel.Free parking would be a bonus!

The Quality Hotel Plaza Dresden is a fantastic hotel in an unfortunate area of the city. To be clear, while the area felt perfectly safe, many of the surrounding, communist era buildings (the hotel itself is new) are boarded up and run down. The hotel is on two tram lines, though, that will get you to and from the beautiful city centre within minutes.The hotel itself is fantastic. Big rooms at great prices and a friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend it.

Very nice hotel. Easy to get there from the main train station. Next to the Military Museum, and just a bus away from downtown. Could actually walk there also. The hotel is very good, very well maintained. The room was comfortable. The breakfast is worth paying for.

Though not exactly located in the most glamorous part of town, this hotel is an excellent choice for travelers who want to spend the day seeing the city, then come back and rest up. There's a tram stop maybe 50 meters from the hotel with regular street cars arriving, and it takes less than 10 mins to get to the Altstadt. There's a bar, beer garden, and restaurant located in the hotel, as well as room service. The room was really clean, and Wi-Fi was readily available. An excellent bargain for the price.

The hotel was easy to get to by tram from the main train station in about 15-20 minutes and it was easy to get to the center of town in about 7-10 minutes also by tram. The front desk service was excellent, and the room was very clean and quiet. Wifi was free and worked well. We did not try their breakfast, but the restaurant was hopping when we passed by. Great stay!

The hotel is clean and staff are friendly and are incredibly helpful. Complimentary wifi is available. The surrounding area is not that nice, there are alot of vacant buildings. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and there was only 1 restaurant open off site. All shops and the nearby supermarked was closed. Very near to the Triumph centre and the business area, good for business users.

Quality Hotel Plaza Dresden is an excellent place to stay. Price is fair; people at the reception were very nice and helpful.The hotel is few steps from public transit and if you are looking for visiting great Dresden museums and galleries, I would recommend buying 48 hours attraction card that allows you to visit variety of museums and includes free transit.I wouldn't recommend included breakfast as it consists of regular toasts and jam; there is a nice E-center just 1 block north from the Hotel with much cheaper and better breakfasts. However you should try dinners at the first floor restaurant. I went there twice and enjoyed great food for reasonable price.When I'm next time in Dresden, no doubt I'm staying at the Quality Hotel Plaza.
