Eating area was dirty specifically the cloth chairs in dining area.

It is a great motel. Only thing I wonder about ,there was a balled up sock on floor, how did they clean the carpet and miss the sock!

Fast check in. Great staff. Front desk person lent me her personal umbrella when I went to dinner! Standard check out noon! Room had everything, fridge, micro, coffee, iron, closet!!

my daughter, who is not even a year old yet was in her car seat and babbling Whoever was working the desk around 10am 8/27/24 was unfortunately very disrespectful and rude first, she had commented on how my daughter wouldn’t stop kicking the front desk when my daughter was in her car seat Then proceeded to tell us we needed to get our daughter to shut up and be quiet mind you my daughter isn’t even a year old yet this woman is talking about an infant who isn’t crying simply just babbling i’m extremely disturbed by this experience.

Great property in a convenient location. Clean and quiet, with generous check-in and check-out times. Friendly staff. If I am ever back in the area, I would stay again. Until then I would recommend for a budget conscious traveler.

Was not happy with cleanliness. Hair in the bathtub and the vent in the bathtub was so dusty, I dont see how it could even work

As a handicapped individual (I use a mobility walker), accessibility is important to me. The Microtel Inn & Suites in Rochester, Minnesota was the BEST Accessible room that I have had all summer--and I've stayed at more than 10 different hotels/ motels this summer. Our room had a very accessible bathroom, with a bench in the shower and with lots of grab-bars to assist me. The bedroom was especially great. The room had a long, cushioned bench in front of the window for setting items on. Then it had an extra sink in the bedroom with a nice wide counter to set things on, plus a desk. So I didn't have to set my suitcase or other items on the floor. Also it had several cubby holes that were waist high to store things in. All in all, it was a very accessible and very comfortable room.

Nancy and Kayla checked us in. Nancy was very fun to talk to. Kayla was taking notes and was very friendly and sweet. They both helped to find me an extra blanket for my room. I appreciated that very much! :-) This morning I spoke with Pamela for a bit before the shuttle arrived. She was very kind and helpful to me. Amanda also was very kind and helpful. All four of these ladies were friendly and smiled and were very helpful. I believe it is very important to recognize those behind the desk as they deal with the coming and going. I was very grateful for these ladies. I commented on my room -- HK just needs to be more attentive. (shoe under the bed, fingernail clipping in bathroom, nails [building material] under arm chair...) Maintenance should give things a check here and there. (Nobody wants to use a squeaky sliding door in the middle of the night to use the bathroom... :-/) But the room was comfortable, and the stay was over all pleasant. Thank you. And for some reason, I can't leave pictures.

Front desk was friendly

check in was a little awkward. desk manager was arguing with an employee for several minutes. another customer and I were having to witness this over 5 minutes.

Was close to Mayo Clinic

The USB charger didn’t work, and the soda pop machine was empty, but the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable…and that’s all I needed.

Hotel is falling apart.. vending machines are all out of order. Awful sound from fan in bathroom. Air conditioner smells musty. Ceiling damage. Tiles broken and grout missing. Beds uncomfortable. Elevator is sketchy if i was not disabled i would have taken the stairs. Front desk not friendly at all! Daughter had surgery at 6am at mayo and none of us got any sleep worst stay ever.

The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom vent was extremely dirty. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Bed bugs so we left. They were suppose to refund us but have not.

Hotel is in poor condition. Exercise equipment old and nonfunctional. Walls and carpet dirty. My room reeked of cigarette smoke and other things. I have stayed here many times over the years but this will be my last time.

Even though it was over 90 and humid outside, when i got in the room the air conditioner was turned off. The in room refrigerator temperature was also turned to essentially off, so the interior of the fridge and freezer was basically room temperature. I get trying to save some money, but figure other ways to do that instead of impacting the comfort and convenience of the guests.

The toilet had hard water stains and the window couch cushion had what appeared to be a biological stain. My wife was not impressed! Overall saved a lot of money, we felt safe, staff was friendly and assisted on every request, I just won’t stay here again.

Worse checkin experience I have ever had. I waited & walked around the hotel for 45mins before someone even showed up to check in. Room & Hotel were very dirty and felt run down. I will not return!

Pealing toilet seat, inch thick frost in freezer section of refrigerator, mold on ceiling above soda machine, unattached window seat. Bed was comfortable but stained.

We found the location of the property was very convenient to the Mayo Clinic area. The facility was clean, the rooms were large, and the building was quiet. Our only regret was that we didn't allow enough time to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. It looked like there was a good variety and people seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Very quiet and clean. Great restaurant right in the parking lot too!
