Service was excellent. Location was great. Room though was very small and the bathroom even smaller. Air conditioner blew directly on a bed and its direction could not be changed.

Hotel was very worn. Shower backed up and brown sludge came up from the drain. No air dryer. Good location. Front desk people were friendly.

It was a very nice hotel, the rooms were very modern and cool looking.

An economical place to stay with great location, friendly staff, and it had what you needed (bathroom toiletries, free/included breakfast, water in lobby, convenience store in lobby, etc). The rooms are NYC small. The window AC unit was appreciated.

Excellent location, close to several subway lines, walkable neighborhood, steps from Central Park. Room was rather small, however for a 5 day stay. My previous stay was one night

I've stayed at this hotel many times. Staff is always helpful and attentive. Seldom seem to stay more than a few months. It suggests management problems or maybe poor treatment of staff. I don't know. There is a value to seeing the same staff that get to know you and it's a welcome feeling.

My hotel stay cost 1115.53 for 3 nights. Then, when I got to the hotel, I got charged another 114.00 for a convenience fee. The hotel was dirty. The elevator, small. The toilet did not flush right and I could hear my neighbors. The only reason I gave it the score I did was because Central Park is basically right out the door and breakfast is included. That being said, you can find better hotels in the area for about the same price.

First of all the staff was very friendly. This made my stay. There was a problem checking into my room, but once resolved I was given the keys and off I went. When I got to my room it was a corner room with great views... The was only one problem, the bed had been covered with a black plastic bag. At first I thought nothing of it. The room was clean and all I wanted to do was sit down at the desk and do some work before going to bed. I removed the plastic thinking that it was left behind in error. Then when turning to go to the bathroom, I noticed a 2 x 2 piece of wall board leaning up against the wall. Then the 2 x 2 hole in the ceiling. Arghhh nice room but I am sure they dont want me to stay here. When I arrived back at the front desk I was warmly greeted with, "I was expecting you. The trouble I was having checking you in was do to the room was under repair." I was then given another room. The new room was clearly smaller, queen size bed instead of a king and no desk. All good. Breakfast too was good, nothing to write home about but good. The staff who ran the dinning room were sweet and funny.... making everything better. Thank you for having me.

Love the location!

The hotel location was great. Easy access to subway. We couldn’t check in early and the only place to leave luggage was in the middle of the lobby. The hotel seemed to be on high heat and it was difficult to cool down the room to sleep.

The shower is way too small the water couldn't go below my neck & im 5'9, bed is soft & makes noise, pillows are way too soft but the room was clean, staff was & location was great, so i got what I paid for, could've been better but i was satisfied

Brown water came out of my shower. Secondly this hotel decided to run my card after checking out 5 times which they were over charging me. I usually never had a problem nor do I like to give bad reviews but this just through me off.

Bed bugs basically ate me alive. My body is covered in itchy red bumps. The location is great and staff friendly but bed bugs trump everything else

The room was so small that the bed and dresser barely fit. You could touch the bed from the toilet so there was no room to even walk between them. Also the toilet was clogged. It was obvious that it had been clogged for a while because of the tool marks that could be seen. It overflowed twice while we were there (only 2 nights). We asked them to fix it but they never did. We got our own plunger.

Great location and nice staff. The rooms are small but you don’t need much in this big city! Great value and so close to restaurants and things to do. Loved how close we were to Central Park.

We needed to stay on the Upper West Side, La Quinta Inn was the perfect location. Close to the subways, Central Park, and lots of restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was great and the breakfast buffet was very good. The room was very small, but it served our needs so we were happy.

Clean and friendly. Excellent location 10 min walk from Times Square. New York public transportation was $22 to EWR Airport. Would book again!

The photos are missleading, the room is smaller than it appears. Other than that, the hotel is in a great location and breakfast is great.

Elevator not working, I got 8 floor room

The room was very great size, the staff were amazing, everything was perfect but the bathrooms. The bathrooms need to be renovated. But besides that this hotel was perfect!!

A room with a desk but no chair? they would not bring one up- had to take one from the breakfast area. Cleanliness an issue especially shabby and dirty hallways carpets. 12 stories building with one very slow elevator. Location great.

Good value for the money. Appreciate the breakfast and 24/7 coffee - and the opportunity to store our bags after checkout. The elevator was slow but it was an opportunity for exercise.
