Wry central, very safe, large rooms

Nice central hotel. Very clean. Staff not overly friendly

There were no washcloths, would like to have washcloths.

The hotel has a very good location. There is a public underground car park under the hotel. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The rooms are spacious and mostly clean. Unfortunately we had a bathtub with a shower, which was a bit too high to get in and out. Personally, I don't like rooms with carpeted floors and the separate toilet had a wooden floor, which made it seem a bit unhygienic. In general the hotel is good.

The location was fantastic...everything to see is within walking distance. It is a little difficult to get into the hotel as it's not intuitively obvious how to walk into the lobby. If you're driving, the parking garage is on the property, which is nice, but there's no good/easy place to check in/check out. Rooms were nice although a little small.

We just arrived and, even before we entered the room, a urine smell took place, so we asked to change the room (reception prompt attended, very professional). Even during the first day, looking in the surrounding of the restaurant, we saw a mouse running around. I saw a second mouse in the second day. We showed the mouse (!!) to one of the staff from the restaurant and she did not even pay attention. Looks something normal for them apparently. Breakfast was... poor, compared to Novotel in Luxembourg (we were there 5 days ago). Bathroom had some mold, under the windows some painting was peeling off. Staff was normal to bad - exception was one lady which said a really nice "good morning" every day. Recommend this hotel? I don't think so. If you have an alternative, keep with it.

We couldn’t park our van there because of height limit of the garage. I had to park it at a different lot and walked back midnight!

Great two nights stay. Parking was great under hotel. Check in went fast and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Pool was nice and maintained well. Room was spacious but could use some upgrading. Only downfall was that outside hotel entrance there was a group of homeless individuals that would hang around entrance all day.

It was centre of the Metz. My children loved swimming pool. Clean and tidy. No complaints.

The vicinity of the hotel was just perfect. You can walk to the centre of this gothical city in a few minutes. Great pool to cool down, breakfast was good/ average. Helpful staff, clean hotel.

The hotel has an amazing location and a nice and big swimming pool. The building could do with some renovation though. Excellent implementation of COVID-19 prevention rules by the staff.

Excellent location. All personel were very friendly, helpful and spekaing very good english.

The staff in the morning was terrible when I tried to get the breakfast that I had already paid for, the greeting staff when I checked in was almost non existent. I will never stay at any novatel hotel after this experience

Rooms comfortable rooms. Great location. Good breakfast and snacks. Made us happy.

why:...the setting, the main entrance is facing an internal yard where you can hear people coming in and out of the hotel and the room despite our best effort was far too hot

Staff were pleasant and helpful, location was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable and just as expected.

Dirty, poor condition and generally a mess of a room. Drain was blocked in first room, we were moved quickly which was nice but the second rooms was still a state.

We enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Metz Centre. Clean, comfortable rooms at a great price on a good location. Friendly desk staff and easy affordable parking. Our kids (2 and 4) loved the toys in the lobby!

We actually booked the wrong date and hotel staff were kind enough to change without penalty despite it being a fixed booking through Expedia.Located right in the heart of Metz with a shopping centre below and walking access to heaps of restaurants.Breakfast was excellent. Parking is under the hotel in the shopping centre car park, very tight but plenty of space.
