The hotel was very clean but in bad need of updating. Staff was friendly. Well located

Room was very clean. Pool area looked inviting but I forgot to pack my suit. Waffle machine for breakfast, hard boiled eggs and biscuits and gravy. I enjoyed a waffle.

Worked well for or our needs. Under renovation . No problems.

Very Tired looking property, needs a grounds clean-up and maintenance attention. Poor TV operation and channel offering. Plunger in sink became stuck, could not un-stick it. Outside security doors did not lock correctly. Breakfast selection not very impressive.

We had no water to shower, bathroom had dirty towels hanging on the door, for the cost was absolutely unacceptable

Property was nice and jist off the highway. It is also pet friendly.

Carpeting in Rm 112 was torn and should have been replaced long ago. Barthroom needed a better design with vanity aside sink.

The best part is the hot tub! Many hotels don’t and that’s why I booked this one! My room had leaking spots all over the room, my bathroom was not cleaned at all, shower had someone’s hair all over it. Took pictures. They did not have anyone shoveling and when they did it was an older lady while the young worked just walked around the building. Breakfast was a joke, there was nothing fresh at all, no oj, milk was spoiled. Waffle mix was extremely old. Water took 20-30 minutes to even get hot when showering.

The building and rooms need an update and renovation, especially the bathroom/tub-shower.

The sheer curtains that were hanging were shredded, the wallpaper is pulling away from the walls with some seams kind of reglued together, the tile around the bathroom really needs to be bleached, there's a soiled ring around the toilet. The parking lot had knocked down cones, potholes and it was really visibly rundown especially on the outside. I was there to visit my daughter at GVSU for homecoming, she came with me to check in and actually said "sorry you got a bad hotel Mom, I hope you stay safe and don't get shanked in the parking lot, keep an eye on your vehicle through the night" The bed was comfortable and I slept good in spite of the surroundings.

Loved the location! I’ve never been to a place where it was so easy to walk my dog in the morning. Things were very close by and easy to access. The night shift concierge was awesome! Very kind and helpful. In the morning things were different and breakfast was cleaned up at least half an hour before the posted time. The pool wasn’t unlocked at posted opening time, and the pool area as well as the pool itself was less than clean. However it was good for a place to stay for the night and had a hot tub as well as the pool. I would stay there again to give it another chance.

Decent for the price

It’s a great place for the money. Every other place in town cost about 50% more. I was checked in within 30 seconds and my room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Not the biggest breakfast in the world but comparable to everywhere else. Again, a great stay for the money.

A better breakfast but everything else was pretty good. The lady at check in and check out was very polite and informative.

Check in was easy and the receptionist was nice. The parking lot is pretty tore up, and it doesn't look the best from the outside. But I have to say that the room was pretty clean. There is no elevator, so if you are on the second floor, you need to go up the stairs. The pool and hot tub were really nice. The carpets definitely need to be cleaned in the hallway.

You can say you are sleeping 3 or 4 but the bed sizes do not fit 2 in a bed unless you are spooning since the full size bed is not a real full. Magically, a king or queen are only in single rooms; therefore, you have to book a whole other room as it is too late when you get there and find this out to change to another hotel.

We only stayed one night so we didn't make a big deal but the sheets on one bed had what looked like a blood stain. On the other hand, my sister had her room across from us that one had what looked liked blood stains on the rug and the room also had some sketchy holes on the walls.

I was on 1st floor. It was so noisy until about 2am due to people running and stomping around upstairs as well as yelling. Room overall was average. 3 of the lights didn’t work. Bathtub was disgusting with hair on the walls and in tub. Bed sheets had stains on them. Breakfast was limited. Staff was nice tho.

Stairs had crumbs on every single stair, do they ever vacuum? Parking lot all tore up. Room...meh. not worth $140 for one night! Pool area was nice..thats about it
