Great resort with friendly staff. Convenient to Port Canaveral if you're cruising, or everything around Cocoa and Cape Canaveral if you aren't. Two room apartment layout was just what we were looking for as well.

The staff at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Zero issues with service; the colleagues at this establishment truly love their job.
The resort itself is dated. There werent many visitors the couple of days we were there, however for those that were located near our room on the 6th floor, we heard everything and it was amplified due to the layout of the hallways.
The amenities in the room were basic. We had no issues with any of the appliances. The movie theater was closed however they were willing to put a movie on if there was something we wanted to watch.
The pool was clean and a little cool.
The towel service machine was confusing but convenient.
Beach access is controlled by the wrist band key card. There are equipment rentals available for a fee; hitting the local surf shop up the road is more affordable.
There is a food market 3 minutes up the road and a places to eat locally and down the road in Melborne. Check the hours; many arent open until later in the day.
Given what this place has to offer, it wasnt worth the price. You are paying for location.

I had an incredible time at this location. I was feeling the pressure to find an affordable location in Cocoa Beach and it turned out The Resort on Cocoa Beach was exactly what I needed and more. It was definitely better than staying at a mainstream hotel. The rooms were clean, well decorated, and we got a huge apartment space for the three of us. Also....I'm pretty sure I had the best shower and bath in my entire life....
The only complaint was that it was a little loud on the side by the pool...The lady doing Bingo reverberated the walls a bit. But hey...the activities were great and it is apparent that a lot of time and care habeen put into this resort.

Overall review of this property was excellent. Zero complaints or issues with the actual property.
The only thing I could complain about is the Azteca 2 restaurant that’s on site, their menu states everything is homemade….tortillas were straight out of a bag.
As for the actual resort and property EXCELLENT!
Can’t wait to go back.

The apartment was clean and well stocked when we arrived. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean and there were plenty of lounge chairs available. We will definitely revisit this resort in the future.

Our stay at The Resort on Cocoa Beach by VRI Americas was fantastic. The beachfront location offered stunning ocean views, and the proximity to the Kennedy Space Center made it a great base for exploring the area.
The suite was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a cosy living area and bedrooms.
The resort’s amenities were impressive—an outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, tennis courts, and even an on-site theatre.
Beach access was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, this resort is perfect for a relaxing beach holiday or exploring the Space Coast. We would definitely stay here again!

The place looks nice. Fountain at the entrance, spacious lobby area and a great pool. The rooms have been updated, but the quality wasnt the best. As a contractor, i noticed that the shower was new but poorly done. The towels they guve you are small and rough. The Mexican restaurant inside the resort isnt that great at all, the food isn't par with others i have visited. Check in and check out was super easy. The security is good and they actually do their job (maybe a little too well), unlike many other resorts we have stayed at where the riff raff is allowed. The floors in the room were very sticky and quite dirty. After walking around barefoot for a few minutes, i learned to put my shoes back on. They need to clean better or use some better cleaner.

I was happily surprised when I got to my room. It was huge with 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and a terrace with an ocean view. The beach is directly out back. Plenty of options for kids and adults. I will definitely stay here again. Friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful property with a great pool and easy access to the beach. Wish umbrellas/chairs were included. We purchased an umbrella for the day but it got windy the second half so only could use it for a couple hours.

The resort was average plus, employees all very friendly, good location, nice pool and other activities for families. When booking make sure to get the third floor and up if you want an ocean view! We paid extra for ocean front and were very disappointed to get to our room and see nothing but trees. We were told at check in we’re on level two ocean front and it “has slight obstruction from trees” You could not see nor hear the ocean what so ever. Nothing like the picture. Also no coffee or water in lobby which is always a nice perk and popcorn for the movie night only on Tuesdays rather than during all movies. All around good stay for the price but better communication about rooms would be nice.

There was no blanket and sheets for roll out bed. Also the loby had major leaks when we arrived during a rain storm. Didnt find the staff to be very pleasant or welcoming. They seemed stoic and lack warmth. We wouldnt recommendation this resort to anyone.

Clean and comfortable. Lots to do in the resort with movie theater, game room, gym, pool, and private beach access. Lots of things within walking distance as far as shops, restaurants, and grocery.

Mutiple generation family trip after cruise. A wonderful time had by all ages. Beautiful property with many amenities and activities to participate in. Condo was spacious and beautifully decorated, had everything anyone would need for a great vacation! Would definitely stay here again!

The property is older but it was very nice. We received excellent customer service. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay prior to our cruise. We ate at the Mexican restaurant and thw food was great. Careful though, the top shelf drinks were $30 each! We would definitely stay again. The only thing that would have made it better was shuttle service to the Port.

Really nice place to stay. Would come again. People at front desk were helpful. The covered parking was a nice touch. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed our dinner. The location to food and activities was very good. All in all great stay.

This is a great local community and great food around. It does lack food in the location. Great pool and lots of fun things to do

Overall, good place to stay. I would say especially for families with smaller kids. There's a lot for them here. The arm bands make it real easy to get in and out and get towels. This is location is a bit odd. Seems to be a mix of regulars and short term visitors. These rooms it seems are available for timeshares. But don't worry there was no hard sell. It was just mentioned on a paper when we checked in. One downside was the bar and restaurant. Didn't seem to be open very long. Not sure the restaurant was open the entire time we were there. But there are other good options nearby. Place was clean and comfortable. The place seems like it may be be getting a little age on it but appeared to be well maintained. I would stay here again.

This place needs to be demolished. Completely run down. Rude, unhelpful staff who know nothing about service or hospitality, but plenty about penalties for everything imaginable. Signs everywhere about kids pooping in the pool, plaster falling off, etc. And they have the audacity to promote it as a timeshare?! Good luck on that… and if you’re “just a guest” the “oceanfront” rooms they throw at you (whether at capacity or not) do NOT have any view (isn’t that the point of paying the higher cost?), but are on the second floor just above the slamming beach gate and cafe noise. Never again…stay away…

We booked the resort for one night. Lovely property right on the beach! If we wasn’t leaving for a cruise, definitely would’ve stay longer. Fully equipped and with everything you can think of! We’ll be back soon!! Your favorite Travel Agent Tiff!!

good location, on the beach, close to everything. We didn't use the pool, jacuzzi, tennis court etc. All we did was walking the beach and swimming in the ocean. Property is in good condition, no complain there, the guest toilet backed up the first day, but got fixed right away, so no complain there either. All in all, it's awesome and we'd love to come back again. Thanks Guys and Girls.
