Be aware, if you are offered room 301 you will be in the basement with the window facing a wall/fire escape.

Coffee maker in room missing parts. Deck outside of door to nowhere but where kids are running and yelling. Entry doors to building and vending filthy. A lot of flies.

Very nice place, clean and just overall a very nice place.

The room was very comfortable - needing and having one bed allowed for 2 easy chairs. The only thing missing was an elevator to help get our suitcases to the second floor. Their recommended restaurant was very good.

We were in a bind and needed a place to stay, they were able to squeeze us in. The kind man at the front upgraded our room free of charge! The only reason for three stars was because it’s extremely outdated and not the cleanest. Bedding smelled clean, just had a few stains. Overall it was do-able when we were in a bind!

Nice hote

This hotel just did the trick, a place to stay the night and have a little breakfast in the morning, just what we needed.

Paid for 5 nights when checking in (required, Sturgis bike rally). Checked out early, stayed 4 nights. Did not request or really expect refund due to busyness of rally. Two days later an additional charge was made to my credit card. Contacted manager, said he could not find me in the system, took my name and number and said he would call me back. Never received a call back. Other wise stay was about average for this type of motel.

My room had a smoke smell. It also had dog hair all over it, and I ventured down in the lobby at 2 AM and found that tomorrow’s eggs breakfast was already sitting out on the counter, waiting for everybody at 6 AM. That’s gross even if it’s on a hot plate it’s gonna be old and disgusting.

We liked the outside balcony. The breakfast was cold and very limited. I had a code that would have reduced the per night price from 219.00 to 146.00 but was told they couldn't do it. I had tried several times calling the hotel and leaving messages, but never got a reply.

Our stay was wonderful because our room is smell fresh and clean. And Comfortable and clean beds. Keep it up. Thanks

The security lock on the door was broken into pieces. The carpet was a horrible stained mess. The room stank so bad it burned my eyes and throat. The manager denied anything was wrong. I abandoned the motel and drove to the next town and bought a decent room for the night. I called Wyndham to lodge complaint. This room in Sturgis was UNHEALTHY AND DANGEROUS. The next day my eyes were swollen and blood red from the stench. I will report to the county health department and the police.

Just a perfect place to stay when you’re running around the Black Hills

It met our needs for the night.

Upon check-in, I was asked to sign a waiver about smoking and pets. I advised the front desk clerk that I was traveling with my two small dogs. He said, “you didn’t tell me that!” I advised him that I booked through Expedia and there was nowhere to indicate a pet room. He changed the room without issue, but was quick to charge an additional amount for the dogs. We went to the room. It reeked of dog urine. I called the desk right away and spoke with a female. She said she’d call right back. The man who checked us in called back a few minutes later and asked if we had used the room. We told him no. He said he would move us to a different room. The room he moved us to smelled much better; however, the window was wide open and the carpets were soaking wet. I’m assuming they had shampooed them but not given them time to dry. We had to walk around with our shoes on. The room was on the side of the hotel facing the train tracks. When the train came through, the room shook and it was so loud. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. This hotel is within walking distance of another hotel they has a pretty nice bar in it with great staff.

Staying for a road trip . Room was clean, bedding was comfortable. Close to everything you need .

The Suite we got was in the basement! Never experienced a basement hotel room. The room was moldy and our daughter had an asthma attack with in 20 mins of entering.

Friendly staff. Average room but very clean. Needs some upgrades. The area around the hotel is non-descriptive (nothing notable but train tracks, buildings, highway). To me, landscaping can make such a difference, although not necessarily the point of staying in a Super 8. Convenient location to downtown.
