Quiet location but near to restaurants and Port Olona marina, which is nice for a wander. Good buffet breakfast selection. We had a marina/port view room with a balcony, i would recommend this, as the non-marina view rooms look over the car park and dual carriageway + roundabout at the back of the hotel. Internal bathroom needed refurbishment and smelt of damp after a shower. It was fine as a base for 3 nights, friendly staff.

Lovely warm welcome as we stayed here as a one night stop over between ferry port and south of France. Excellent service and advice given in terms of local info re restaurants transport location etc. Rooms are clean and standard and priced reasonably for a coastal town on summer. Parking plentiful and easy. All staff great with the children. Many thanks for looking after us

great view of the marina and lots of good restaurants at fair prices ,also quieter than downtown Sables d'Olonne

The hotel is well situated by the Marina where you can easily access restaurants and bars where you’ll see well known navigators having dinner/lunch. View on the port, quiet location. The room was very spacious. I really enjoyed my stay.

We have used this hotel for the last 15 years. It's very well located for our business dealings in Les Sables. It's clean and calm. Recently it seems to have benefitted from a revamp of it's communal areas - reception and dining room. If they could fit a few more lights in the bedrooms it would be an improvement.

The Bridget Jones film was premiered the night we were staying. Cinema just over the road. Some bars and restaurants facing on to the harbour close by. A long walk to the beach on one side. Nice accommodation and a good breakfast.

We were only staying a night for a friends wedding and the hotel suited us perfectly as it was clean and functional. There was free wifi but it didn't actually work when connected unfortunately. The decor is a little run down and could do with a revamp. Location is really close to the harbour so our room had a nice balcony with views of the boats.

Extremely helpful staff. Very welcoming. Stayed there for 8 nights and was extremely satisfied. Will highly recommend.

Room was big and nice. A few details a bit messy. Internet was awful. No kettle. The harbour area it is in is a bit dead and not near the town.

I will not stay there again if I can avoid it. There was nothing wrong with the hotel per se, but nothing wiorth mentioning either. The decor is dated and needs serious upgrade to international standards, but the place is clean and the rooms of a generous size. It is far from almost everything. Breakfast was ok but nothing to rave about. Hotel staff was very pleasant and welcoming, however.

Stayed here for a one night break during our two week stay inland at a campsite. Gave us just what we needed in comfort and facilities. Staff pleasant and hotel clean. 10 mins walk to water taxi Euro 1.10 each person over to main restaurants and bars.

Location seemed a little strange at first but it really is quite close to Les Sables town centre by a very good water boat transfer which is regular and costs just 1 euro each way. Rooms are quite large and have reasonable sized balconies but no views. Also air conditioning in the rooms was a great benefit in the hot weather. Staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Breakfast was disappointing - budget hotel quality really - but plenty of it in a reasonable dining room. We stayed just three nights and the hotel was a great find, good value and ideal for us on a travelling holiday.

Great hotel near the centre of the town with parking. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room was big and the staff were friendly!

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We did not have breakfast as it was 10 euros each which was steep. However, on reading the rules in the room it states that you are not allowed to eat. There is a mini bar in the form of a small fridge with cans of drink to purchase but these are very expensive. Unfortunately, we were near the lift which you could hear at night when all was quiet. Overall, it was OK, it has free parking. If you want to pay more you can have rooms overlooking the harbour.

A nice hotel in a great location for sailing events which is why we were there. It is however, a good 20 minute walk into Les Sable. The staff were great, very helpful and spoke English. The room was a little dated but acceptable.

Although starting to look a little tired (and not quite as the pictures show) this is a basic yet comfortable hotel and we used it for a single night stop-over en-route to another resort. Picked from the description to meet our children's request, make sure you read the description carefully as it implies that the hotel the hotel has a pool, although when you read it carefully it is talking about the resort pool (ie Les Sables D'Olonne, not the Admiral's Hotel) and there is no pool on site. The hotel is on the Olona Port side of the river bu this is not a problem and it is a pleasant water taxi ride over to Les Sables itself. We had 2 rooms for the 2 families (4 adults, 3 children) and although the room description again implied bigger rooms with a double and a twin, this wasn't the case with a double and a set of bunk beds in the entrance corridor, although this was entirely satisfcatory for our needs. Overall, very basic (as you would expect for a 2 star) and looking a little shabby from the outside, but very clean inside and functional... just a shame about the pool..!!!!!
