The staff was realy nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean. The sofa that was a bed was hard. The double bed was 2 beds made in to one so it wasnt a double bed. We were disturbed by stamping nices from the floor above for the whole night.

Checked in to the hotel after 22.00 Saturday evening. As the restaurant was closed, we asked for help to find somewhere else. The night receptionist (asian looking man) was very helpful and gave us a few suggestions. All staff we met spoke English. All in all a very pleasant experience

Rather expensive for OK hotel, picked for location ( 5 minuets walk from railway station ) Biggest disappointment was the fact I was there for work, needed to access e-mail but could not get internet of phone or laptop

Some construction to the ground floor, but didn't disturb us during our stay. Short overnight stay. Food was good, easy to find hotel and staff are very nice and helpful.

We did spend two nights at the Mercure in Hamm. It has a 24h check-in however they did not know that we are arriving late even if I told them by phone upfront and they made a note for the responsible person. But not a problem that the reservation as the hotel wasn't fully booked so we got a room. Reservation was for a twin bed and we got a double bed but we didn't care. We asked for a wake up call and I saw the staff writing it down. But there was no call - that's a no go. Also the card reader wasn't working at the check out. Took us quite a bit until they offered to make a copy of the credit card and charge the rate at later time. Beside those points the staff was nice and friendly. We were asking for a late check-out and got one extra hour. Rooms were clean but felt a bit aged. The bath tub was a bit dirty, rest of the bath was good. The breakfast was a nice selection of bread, cheese, meat, eggs, sausages and fruits. There was some renovation going on. I think that's a good idea. In general we can recommend that place even if it was not 100%.

Good Hotel, in the city, wellness on 7th floor is also good and clean.. nice smoking area, the room we booked had no airco.. that was a pity

Hotel was clean and had friendly staff. The breakfast bar and parking facilities were also good. The hotel is in walking distance from shopping and many restaurants. A great night's stay for a good price.

I recently spent several days here...was overall very pleased with most everything. It is close to a shopping center. The rooms were clean and attractive. Their idea of a "Continental Breakfast" should be copied in America...many kinds of meat, seafood, cereals, etc...way too many to name. The staff was attentive...did what they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible.

Hotel enterance not easily accesable possible due to roadworks and the parking for motorcycle is charged at same rate as cars with no free parking near hotel

Pleasant stay. Nice & spacious room. Staff was helpful in re-opening the hotel restaurant for dinner upon our late arrival. Excellent breakfast. Location is good for short citytrip or overnight stay. Pity parking is not complimentary.

We recently spent 5 nights at the Mercure in Hamm. The room was clean and comfortable, but outdated decor. The pictures of dark furniture and new decor is not the room we were given-we had flash back to the 80s. However, we were told by locals it is the best hotel in Hamm. The room was serviced everyday by housekeeping, and the front desk staff was very helpful. Also, they have a business center in the lobby area with a computer you can use to check emails, ect. When we return to Hamm we will definetly stay here,
