Beautiful hotel with an excellent location the staff was top notch, the rooms where very spacious and beautiful, at the top terrace you find very beautiful views with a gym and a pool although it was under repair. The breakfast buffet was superb and delicious. The only thing that we were not impressed was with the bar the staff and drinks were great but the food was subpar with the hotel

Ir was in a nice area, and the bed and pillows were confortable. The good in the restaurant at Dinner was horrible. Breadfast was better.

I traveled with my disabled mother. Received extraordinary, above and beyond cust ss prior to my arrival. I was concerned my mother might not be able to use pool chairs as they are too low. Ms. Gabriela guided me via email so that I could purchase a cushion high enough to place on pool chair. Such caring service. The pool is awesome. Stayed either room 320 or 420. Room: facing back, was told only 1bed rooms face street, super spacious, great AC, awesome comfy fluffy beds, pillows, linen, great lightning. Could improve: door hard to close, had to slam shut, no focus light in room dining area and table, window does not lock. Bathroom, super spacious, great lighting, shower rain excellent pressure. Could improve toilet seat way too low, also door hard to close, tissue packets available, would be best to have a tissue dispenser. Laundry, very reliable, a bit pricey, nicely packed for delivery. One area I had problem with was restaurant. Customer service needs urgent improvement. I ate there several times early in my stay, then gave up, too much hassle. Went eat awesome food and good service across street. I once called rrom service from my room, asking for a pisco sour to be taken at pool, thought this could save time. Waited for 15 mins at pool, nothing. Called room ss from pool, rang several times no answer. Finally after 30 mins decided to go to lobby and pick up drink myself. No apologies, they just gave me my drink and I was on my merry way. Not a 5 star hotel, not yet.

The suites are very comfortable, ideal for relaxing and the area is quite silent as well.

It was our second Sonesta Hotel in Peru in two weeks and we were highly impressed with the elegance, friendliness of staff ease to get transportation, and the beautiful park to enjoy across the street for nice walks at any time of day! The roof top pool was lovely at any time - would love to return

Nice and comfortable rooms, great service, terrific breakfast, fast wifi. The property itself is rather dated and looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 90s. The windows are just two sliding glass panes that don't actually close all the way. While the hotel is located on a relatively quiet street, the flimsy windows mean there is still a good amount of car noise.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at for service. A first class experience at an affordable price. Won't stay anywhere else when in Peru.

Great hotel in a fantastic area. Hotel is not 5 star. Probably 4 at the maximum compare to European standards. Rooms are in need of major lift as some of the furniture and bathrooms are dated.

Fine hotel, horrible service. I had booked 2 rooms for me and a colleague, in total you are talking about 24 nights. When we arrived at the hotel, my partner was also with me and they said upon arrival that it would cost me US$40! per night (the difference between 1 person and 2 persons staying is about $11 per night if you book online). So, the lady at reception, knowing that there were 2 people staying in my room and we had a lot of luggage, gave my colleague, traveling with only 1 small trolley, the largest room, and put us in a small room. That my room was so much smaller, I only found out towards the end of my stay after seeing my colleague's. Upon checking in, I paid the entire booking immediately and said that I found the extra US$40 per night rediculous. After a few days, we spoke again about this surcharge and I thought that we had an agreement for US$20 per night, but that was only applicable for the third and fourth night, it appeared afterwards. I have been fortunate to travel to Peru with my Peruvian partner prior, and when we stayed at the Casa Andina Premium (highly recommended) I never once had the issue. Further more, when my mother in law arrived with a little girl that is actually my partner's daughter, they questioned her about the custody of the little girl, something that we found extremely disturbing. Avoid room 415 since it's small, and your key refuses to work on a daily basis. And don't think that a bottle of water is replaced on a daily basis.

We were upgraded to a large room thanks to Expedia . Hotel is in a great location across from a safe , well lit park ….. Breakfast is a 4 Star …

Gorgeous property with great staff who helped us with recommendations of things to see and everyone had a smile on their face, ready to help. The rooms are awesome and the rooftop is a great place to unwind.

Very nice hotel in the pretty San Isidro neighborhood of Lima. Close to a park with many old olive trees. Lots of restaurants in the area. I would definitely stay there again.

Friendly, accomodating staff. It has a nice park right across the way to go walking in. Nice quiet area but within walking distance of miraflores and the more active areas.

I stayed in Sonesta for a week and It was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and super professional. Always with a smile on their face. I would recommend Sonesta anytime.
