Stay was dampened by a bad bed, a fright, and problems with shower.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was incredible. The only two things that were slight inconveniences where that the back door lock demagantized the key everytime we used it. Apparently the staff knew about it and we were not informed at check in, plus there was no sign informing people about the lock messing with their keys. The breakfast in the morning wasn't very good and we decided to have breakfast off property.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I have worked in house keeping many MANY years, & this was horrendous. To run from Florida to make sure we were safe from a hurricane & have to lay our head at a hotel that we didn't even feel comfortable or clean is was ridiculous. Ketchup packet tears left on the counter, hair EVERYWHERE that was not ours, some ketchup greasy stuff in the sink, what looked to be blood on the walls in two different spots.

It looked updated, but the room had a musty smell and the bed sheets were damp. When we left to go places - I dropped the air to see if many it needed air to circulate but when we returned it wasn’t any better. When we were getting ready to leave and putting our stuff in the bags- our clothes felt damp as well.

Parking lot had fresh blacktop making entrance more difficult to enter. Had repeated issue with door being able to be locked. Entrance angle caused the front end of my car to scrape. Room was clean and updated. Staff was very good.

Staff was very polite and accommodating. Getting in and out of property was a bit challenging, as the entrance/exit was on a small hill, scraping the bottom of my sedan.

There was no shower curtain. Desk clerk refused to bring one. Told me housekeeping was not available. The toilet stool handle was not functional. I had to flush toilet by reaching down in the water.

This hotel was rated as very good and honestly, I’m not sure why. When we walked into the room, there was half of a candy wrapper and a cellophane wrapper of some type on the floor. The carpet was sticky, so we kept our shoes on at all times. The sink had toothpaste splatters on the faucet, handle and the area behind it. The door to the outside didn’t close tightly and seal. You could see through the crack to the outside which means god knows how many bugs could get in. It was just a very icky room. Not sure why they accept pets because there was no clean grassy area to walk them. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!

Property needs to be updated like the lobby is. The first room I was given smelled like smoke and hairs were in the tub. The room I stayed in looked older than the first but I killed 2 bugs crawling up the walls on my 3 day stay. Staff is very nice and friendly so that was the bright spot of my stay.

I had a nice stay here. I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom floor had stuff on it like it hadn't been swept, though it did smell as if it had been mopped, and there was trash in the parking lot. The lady at the front desk was very cheerful, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was continental and the coffee was good. The location was excellent with many restaurants within walking distance, though beware that there are no sidewalks and the street is very busy. I thought it was slightly pricey but I would probably stay here again.
